Sarkodie Drops Hot Single ‘All Die Be Die’

Celebrated Ghanaian rapper, Micheal Owusu Addo, popularly know in showbiz as Sarkodie finally drops the much anticipated collaborative single with Akan.

Titled “All die be die” is an Akufo-Addo patented battle cry.

Sark released this new single following an earlier request to meet with President, Nana Akufo-Addo over hardship in the economy.

The then Flag-bearer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, in 2011

told party members at Koforidua that they should gear up for a serious electoral battle in 2012

because the ruling National Democratic Congress (NDC) would try to hold on to power by all

means, even though all the odds are against them (NDC).

“We need to be bold and courageous for 2012 because Ghanaians need us to come to power,” he said.

Nana Addo cited the Atiwa by-elections where the ruling NDC sent its goons to visit mayhem on

innocent people during that election, as a prelude to what could happen in 2012.

They (NDC) have intentions to intimidate us in 2012 because they believe that we are soft and cowards. If that is thinking, then we shall see. At least, during the Atiwa by-election, we showed a little of our colours there.”

“You must understand that this party was formed by courageous people. Our leaders who formed this party that has now become the biggest political movement in Ghana were not cowards. So in 2012 we need to be courageous because all ‘die be die’. All die be die,” he repeated.

Via a tweet, Sarkodie threatened that if that meeting doesn’t happen he will drop part two of “inflation x Masses”.

Those are politically motivated songs he released during the erstwhile Mahama administration

in which he bashed the then government over the hardships the masses were experiencing then.

But for its controversial title, this his ‘all die be die’ track is a normal song with nothing politically spectacular in it.

A few years ago, Sarkodie released ‘Inflation’ and ‘Masses’ to touch on pertinent issues bothering the ordinary Ghanaian.

Few weeks ago, he took to Twitter, addressing issues of poor African leadership in a litany of posts.

In one of his posts, he suggested that what could possibly be the solution to Africa’s problems is a dictatorship.

“What we need at this point might seem like a dictatorship and will feel uncomfortable since we have enjoyed temporal freedom for a minute, but we need drastic measures to survive,” he tweeted.

“All Die Be Die”, a hip-hop song produced by Ware.

Sarkodie who often raps in his native language Twi rose into limelight in 2015 and has remained relevant since.

He won the Best International Act: Africa category at the 2012 BET Awards, and was nominated in the same category at the 2014 BET Awards.

Sarkodie Finally Explains Why He Released ‘My Advice’ Song

The release of ‘My Advice’ song by rapper Sarkodie has been tagged as a diss song at Shatta Wale by majority of the masses.

The Sarkcess Music boss in October this year dropped the controversial song which sent social media buzzing with several comments, both good and bad.

Many thought it unnecessary for Sark to release such a track at Shatta Wale, considering the

fact that they were best friends even though Shatta first launched an attack on him on social media.

Some on the other hand applauded Sarkodie for silencing Shatta Wale after the release of the track.

Sakodie has however come out to explain the circumstances that led to him releasing such a song in a recent interview with KOD.

According to Sark, he is the type who loves to address issues personally, something his friends knew, including Shatta.

“If he is a friend that you keep in touch with all the time and he keeps passing comments on social media all in the name of showbiz, how would you feel?”

I get it. It’s showbiz but we have a friendship to keep. As much as I would want to do showbiz, there are some things that I would like to call you personally and resolve” he said

Bragging Is Part Of Showbiz But You Don’t Have To Step On Others When Doing So — Sarkodie’s New ‘Advise’ To Shatta Wale

Sarkcess Music boss, Micheal Owusu Addo, popularly known as Sarkodie has of late been

given some pieces of advise to some of his colleague musicians.

His latest advise to all his colleagues in showbiz is that they should feel free to brag about

themselves as bragging is part of the business.

He however stressed that they should note not to step on others whiles doing so.

His comments however follows the release of his diss song ‘My Advice’ a few weeks back.

The song after its release garnered several views and comments with many entertainment

critics believing it’s a track directed at none other than Shatta Wale.

Sarkodie however addressed the issue when he appeared in in interview on ‘The Zone’

with KOD on Starr Fm.

According to the ‘Adonai’ hitmaker, he does not have a problem with Shatta Wale bragging

at all because it’s part of showbiz.

However, his huge problem with Wale is him always trying to bring others down when he

can simply do his own bragging without attacking others.

Also Check:https://www.ghafla.com/gh/9990-8/

“Shatta Wale is not doing anything wrong by showing off, let me be clear on that. Bragging is part of showbiz. But bragging is not for every brand because you should know your brand positioning and what works for your brand.

Bragging is not for me, it does not work with me,” he noted.

Sark further added: “But there are things you can brag about, but you don’t brag when you are pushing others down. It’s showbiz but don’t try to step on other people. And these are things we have discussed on the phone many times.”

Earlier this year, Shatta Wale during one of his ‘crazy’ moments launched massive attacks

against Sarkodie, Kwaw Kese and other artists, claiming they were poor and struggling in the

industry. After getting fed up, Sarkodie slammed Wale in ‘My Advice’ in which he cut him down

to size with a sizzling freestyle. Whilst one might think the two artists are beefing, Sark insists they are actually very close.

“The fact is I’m not into this fake industry thing so I don’t really open up to people but I’m really cool with Shatta just as it was with Castro.

The truth is I do care about him (Shatta), my mum talks to the both of us on phone and we can be on phone for hours,” he concluded.

Sarkodie Has Zero Confidence When It Comes To Dealing With Shatta Wale – Archipalago

year Rapperholic Concert which had Shatta Wale and Jay Foley as MCs for the event.

Some social media users after Sarkodie posted the video trolled him saying he posted the video because he has missed Shatta Wale and has even begged to be friends with him again.

However, ‘social media noise maker’ Archipalago also took to his Instagram page as he

went hard on Sarkodie for been scared of Shatta Wale but just acting as if he is not.
