A little 2 year child I must add. Why would anyone in their right mind think this ok? It’s not funny, it’s very sick and disgusting.”

However, after receiving several backlashes for the tweet, the comedian rendered an unqualified apology to Sarkodie,

his wife and daughter.

It is a joke gone bad, he added.

“Me on this beat e go cause you some damages…”

He later continues

Sarkodie ‘Jabs’ Shatta Wale In Medikal’s ‘How Much Remix”(VIDEO)

Celebrated rapper, Micheal Owusu Addo, known by his stage name Sarkodie has taken a subtle

jab at dancehall act Shatta Wale with his lyrics in Medikal’s “How Much” remix song.

Sarkodie is considered to be one of the smartest and non-controversial artistes in the country.

He however has his unique style of responding to critics or insults from the public.

The ‘Illuminati’ rapper has put dancehall star, Shatta Wale in his place with his latest rap lyrics.

Sarkodie recently featured on AMG artiste, Medikal’s ‘How Much’ remix song which also features & Omar Sterling and his lines as usual were a ‘bomb’.

“…put some respect on my name nigga; cus you and me are not the same nigga. Wo pushi Picanto no na me pushi Range nigga. I started charging half a million before you came in nigga! ..”

These were some of the words from Sark’s rap on the song. Many Ghanaians have since

interpreted the lyrics to be directed at Shatta Wale.

Background

Shatta about two weeks ago referred to Sarkodie and Kwaw Kese as Poor. According to the

‘Thunder Fire’ crooner, Sark and Kwaw Kese are poor  artistes dwelling on past glories.

CHECK: https://www.ghafla.com/gh/45673-09/

Though rapper Kwaw Kese was quick to react to the news, Sark remained calmed as always.

But many believe that, a critical analysis of his lines in the song could be a subtle reply

to Shatta Wale.

King Sark threw serious and damaging jabs at Shatta Wale in the remix for Medikal’s “How Much” song which he together with Paedae were featured on.

After bragging about his position in the rap game in his verse, Sarkodie descended into the gutters with Shatta Wale.

They believe that the SarkCess Music CEO is asking the SM Boss to put some respect on his

name because he even started charging a half a million for shows before Shatta Wale even

dreamt of resuscitating his dead career as Bandana so he has no damn right to describe him as poor.

Criss Waddle Was My ‘Toughest Contender – Sarkodie

Multiple awards-winning rapper Michael Owusu Addo, best known as Sarkodie has

revealed that his toughest opponent in the industry ever was AMG boss, Criss Waddle.

Sarkodie made this known during a throwback conversation with his “Godfather”,

Isaac Duncan Williams, known popularly as Dr. Duncan.

CHECK:https://www.ghafla.com/gh/48265-2/

The rap king disclosed that he abandoned schooling to write good punch lines to face his

competitors who came on the “Kasahari” rap show on Adom FM some years ago.

“From Monday to Friday you know, you meet me sitting behind my mum’s house just to get punch lines to face any rapper you give me, but my closest battle was Waddle, that was a very intense and emotional battle,”he said.

King Sark, who was then an upcoming rapper who clashed with the likes of D-Cryme,

Stonebwoy, Shatta Wale, Yaa Pono, Kofi Korea, Stay Jay and Yaw Siki described

them as dope competitors but had his toughest moment with Criss Kwaku Waddle.

“The battle between Waddle and I was “hot”, Waddle was the king of Kasahari and was the boss so he was absenting himself, I was also the new kid killing all the other rappers on the show so I was tasked to challenge Waddle and be the new rap king”, he said merrily.

According to the “Brighter Day” hit maker, “the battle was scary I felt like we were in a boxing ring”.

Even though Sarkodie is successful and acknowledged internationally, he said abandoning his academics had a toll on him especially when composing a song.

He therefore urged young guys aspiring to be great rappers in future to focus on their academics and get good grades before going to the studio to “kill it”.

I Am Not A Member Of GHAMRO – Sarkodie

Revered rapper, Michael Owusu Addo, popularly known to all as Sarkodie, has revealed

that he isn’t part of GHAMRO.

Sarkodie made this revelation in an interview with Andy Dosty where he was asked if he

was a member of GHAMRO but he replied with honesty that he isn’t.

The Ghana Music Rights Organization (GHAMRO) is a non-profit corporate body (limited by guarantee).

Therefore all fees collected are distributed among the right owners whose works have been used.

In this instance composers, authors and producers, publishers in proportion to the use made of their works.

The role of the organization in the industry is vital but a handful of artistes don’t see why they

should join with the inadequate structures not being in-place for operations to be carried out by the organization and it has been revealed to all of us today that Ghana’s finest rapper Sarkodie isn’t a member of this organization.

I Don’t Need To Be Signed To Zylofon To Support It – Sarkodie

Celebrated Ghanaian rapper, Sarkodie has reacted to claims that he  was approached

by Zylofon media to join their label.

Earlier this year, rumors went wild that the rapper was joining the 360 record label owned

by business mogul Nana Appiah Mensah.

However, the ‘Hand To mouth’ crooner in an interview with Andy Dosty on Hitz Fm has refuted such claims.

READ ALSO:https://www.ghafla.com/gh/ghanaians-hype-secular-artistes-more-than-gospel-artistes-obaapa-christy/

According to him, there was never a conversation like that between him and Nana Appiah

Mensah even though they are very close.

“We never got a conversation like that but I had the opportunity to be very close to Nana Appiah Mensah and conversations that we’ve had, I think I understand his vision.” Sark noted.

He added that there’s a need for Ghanaians to support Zylofon Media to succeed because they have the intention to push Ghanaian music far.

“I think we should all be Zylofon, not necessarily signed to the label. But we all have to support Zylofon, cause he [Nana Appiah Mensah] has this dream and I think he himself doesn’t even know how to go about it because this is entertainment and it’s not his field.

So his flaws will be more and we will be using his flaws to critique him and maybe…. I know he is strong and he will not back out.. I don’t need to be signed to the label to support it but I think we all need to support Zylofon..” he added.

Sarkodie Finally Explains Why He Promoted P-Square On His Instagram Page

Ghana’s biggest rapper, Sarkodie has finally broken silence on a post on his Instagram page

which got his fans throwing jabs at him.

The ‘Original’ hitmaker has been heavily lashes out on Instagram following a post about

Peter of P-Square.

Sarkodie recently shared excerpts of a newly released video, which was yet to be released then by Peter on his Instagram page.

He urged his fans and followers to go check the video out.

His post, however did not go down well with some of his followers who decended on him.

They couldn’t fathom why Sarkodie was promoting a Nigerian artiste’s song.

Reactions from his fans follows the snub by Nigerians at Zylofon Media artistes, including

Stonebowy and Shatta Wale days before Sark’s post.

But in a recent interview on Hitz Fm, Sarkodie, made a number of revelations about his

personal life, his music career as well as his relationship with Nigerian artistes.

“I am not wrong in posting Peter of P -Square project on my Instagram page. It took me a long time and hard work for Nigerians to embrace me and it took the affiliation of their artistes and P-Square is one of those artistes. I nearly gave up on going to Nigeria for shows.” He said.

According to the ‘Original’ hitmaker, almost all the Nigerian collaborations he had were not paid for but they happen after the artistes reached out to him and were purely strategic collaborations.

ALSO READ:https://www.ghafla.com/gh/im-still-dating-michy-and-were-recording-a-banger-shatta-wale/

He also stated that P-Square came all the way from Nigeria to his wedding without an invitation.

He came only to surprise him and so he is not wrong in any way for sharing his latest project on his Instagram page.

Sarkodie also stated that he would love to work with the Zylofon Media boss – Nana Appiah Mensah in the near future.

And that the music industry needs more of Nana Appiahs in order to expand more.

Go To The Aid Of Kwadee -Twitter Users Plead With Sarkodie

Some social media users are calling on hiplife artiste, Sarkodie to go to the aid of struggling musician, Okomfour Kwadee.

The calls for the Sarkcess Music boss to go to the aid of the falling star started after Sarkodie tweeted about songs from Kwadee and Obrafour when he was still an underground artiste.

much younger.

According to the ‘RNS’ crooner, listening to the good songs from Kwadee and Obrafour shaped him to be different in his era.

“Grew up on some real good music from Obrafour and Okomfour Kwadee and that shaped me to be different in this era … I pray I never lose that soul from old hip life,”he tweeted.

Some therefore jumped on the tweet and pleaded with the rapper to go and see Kwadee and offer him any kind of help.

They believe that even if it’s financial, it’ll also speak good of the ‘Adonai’ crooner, especially as he claims that Okomfour Kwadee was his inspiration as a young artiste.

One twitter user with handle OH JAH!!! @NkansahAdjei wrote;

pls we want u to pay a visit to Okomfour Kwadee one day n show some massive love. if u agree with me let me see ur hands, one time for ur mind yoooooo!”

Another with name @WisdomAvurah wrote;

“Pls, king sark help my G(kwadee) fit into the society once again. A humble request”

“If Okomfour Kwadee really inspired your career and that helped in shaping your success 2day, pls sark if you have done something secretly to help his condition then God bless you but more is needed but if not extend a helping hand to him please king Sark,” @ DawudaRey555 also tweeted.

Sarkodie has however not responded to any of the tweets yet. It therefore remains to be seen if the ‘Hand To Mouth’ hitmaker will heed to the calls and offer help to Kwadee.

Okomfour Kwadee, real name Jerry Anaba was one of the biggest hiplife stars in the mid-2000s. However, he has been missing from the music scenes for over three years now.

Recent reports however indicates that he began to suffer mental health issues in 2011 reportedly as a result of drug abuse.

Around 2015, he made a comeback having been treated of his mental condition. Nonetheless, his comeback was unsuccessful and recently reports emerged that Kwadee was still suffering from a mental disorder.

The reports further stated that he has been abandoned by his family in a mental facility. His family and friends have come out to deny such reports though.

MUSIGA paid a visit to him last month where Kwadee revealed that he was doing better and the reports of him still having mental problems were exaggerated.

Sarkodie Lauds M.anifest’s ‘Azumah Nelson Flow’ Video

Rapper Sarkodie has in a recent tweet, commended colleague, M.anifest’s latest work titled ‘Azumah Nelson Flow’.

In ‘Azumah Nelson Flow’, the ‘Nowhere Cool’ crooner eulogizes the nation’s illustrious sportsman Azumah Nelson.

The song sees the God MC strike a defiant tone on the drum and horn-heavy thumper produced by Radical the Kid.

Visuals to the single was released on the video which was released on 19th July 2018  to mark his 60th birthday.

Sarkodie, has praised the artistic work of M.anifest especially the music video on Twitter.

Together with a link for the video, Sarkodie praised the quality of Azumah Nelson Flow, describing it as “dope”.

M.anifest is well known for producing songs with thought-provoking lyrics.

Meanwhile, for any close timeline follower of both artistes, one would realize that their relationship had not been too good.

About two years ago, the two rappers locked in lyrical fisticuffs.

This resulted in the ‘Bossy-God MC-Kanta War of 2016’.

After M.anifest released ‘godMC,’ his lyrics was interpreted to mean an attack on Sarkodie. This caused Sarkodie to also reply to him with ‘Kanta.’

The debate on which of them was the best rapper raged especially among music fans with trolls and shades from either side.

Nonetheless, both artistes have their unique way of presenting their work.

The both have also chalked successes in the music industry by projecting their respective crafts and brands.

Hence, Sarkodie’s praise has been interpreted by some fans of both artistes to be mean the ‘war’ is possible over.

Make Sure You Launch Your Next Album Privately Like Your Wedding — Angry Fan Tells Sarkodie

Some Sarknatives are obviously angry with their boss, Sarkodie about his way of handling his marriage.

An angry fan of Sarkodie has expressed his anger at the way the SarkCess Music boss handled his marriage ceremony.

Sarkdie got married to his long time girlfriend and Baby Mama, Tracy over the weekend.

However, as has become very typical of most celebrities, the wedding was strictly by invitation.

That aside, there was a delay in the release of official photos from the ceremony for the fans to also glance at.

After several hours of delay, Sarkodie posted some photos of his marriage with the caption; “As intimate as I want it, My fans deserve to see these priceless moments in my life, Thank you”.

A Facebook user, with name Ofori-Krah Arabio however got angry and decided to tell Sarkodie his mind.

Ofori-Krah Arabio, replied; “Next time when you are set to release an album, make sure you invite all those who attended the wedding and launch it with them privately like the wedding. Let Strongman be the MC. You can’t take we ur fans for granted”.

We cannot establish whether Ofori is a true Sarknative or not, but from all indications he didn’t like the way Sark handled this ceremony.

Perhaps, Ofori believes it would have been a bit prudent if Sarkodie had at least invited a few SarkNatives to also have a feel of his much-awaited glamorous wedding.

Sarkodie’s Wife Tells The Story Behind Their ‘Hanging Wedding Cake’

The weekend was a joyful one for Africa’s number one rapper, Sarkodie who finally tied the knot with his long time girlfriend, Tracy.

Although the wedding was a private one and strictly by invitation, photos from the ceremony have taken over social media.

One thing that caught the attention of many who have seen some of these photos was the wedding cake.

Well, in case you didn’t notice, then you may have to take a second look at it.

The cake had no support from beneath but actually descended from the ceiling and got suspended.

For those who noticed, this is the first time seeing an African wedding cake of that sort.

This wedding cake explains why the union is the ‘highest’ wedding ceremony ever seen just as Sarkodie’s recent album is named.

Now, Mrs. Owusu Addo(Tracy) took it upon herself to share the story behind the cake.

Tracy in an Instagram post shares with us the story behind the cake which was by Dzifa of Sweetintins Couture Cakes and the idea powered by Big Ideaz Consult.

“When I met Dzifa, she said I will make you a cake fit for the Highest Wedding so just talk to Kojo Poku blaze of Big Ideaz Consult to make the mechanisms available.

And so it happened… Africa’s first from the ceiling descending wedding cake,” she captioned a video of the cake on her Instagram page.

Now, the ‘Highest’ album maker has finally responded to the heart desire of the budding rapper.

The SarkCess Music CEO, Sarkodie in reply via twitter said: “And so shall it be”.

Sarkodie’s reply to Kwesi Arthur’s wish best qualifies as an encouraging way to the satisfaction of the ‘Anthem’ crooner.

For start up, we can say Kwesi really means his words considering his efforts in his career so far.

That aside, he was nominated in the Viewers Choice category at the just ended Black Entertainment Awards (BET). Unfortunately, he lost the category to South African SJava.

But we know for sure that he hasn’t given up yet as he continues winning in the music game.

Meet Sarkodie’s Big Sis And Lil Bro(Photo)

Ghanaian rapper, Micheal Owusu Addo, best known as Sarkodie has over the years carved a niche for himself in the Ghana Music Industry.

He’s both a local and an international awards winning artiste who is loved and respected by many people across the globe.

Despite his achievements and fame, he tries to maintain a low profile of himself as best as he can.

However, Sark’s nuclear family is one thing he doesn’t joke with. The family of three comprises of Sarkodie himself, his long time girlfriend and baby mama Tracey and their daughter Adalyn Owusu Addo, aka Titi.

But this doesn’t mean he doesn’t have any other family members aside these two people.

Sarkodie, just like every Ghanaian or African comes from an extended family.

He comes from a family of five including his mother and father.

The SarkCess Music boss is the second child of 3, two boys and a girl.

Though little is known about them, the ‘Adonai’ crooner recently shared a photo of himself with his two siblings.

He took to Twitter to give his fans a glimpse of his his big sister and little brother.
