NYS scandal suspect and now center of attention, Ann Wambere Ngirita and other three family members have come out to shockingly share that an officer framed them after Ann said no to his sexual advances.
The family which is among 43 other suspects implicated in the NYS scandal, claim that the officer wanted to buy Whiskey but they denied.
Four members of the Ngirita family – Jeremiah Ngichini Ngirita, Ann Wambere Ngirita, Phylis Njeri and their mother Lucy Ngirita, have been accused of defrauding the NYS in excess of Sh100 million.
Ngichini said that chief investigating officer Mike Julius Kingoo Muia implicated them in the scam to settle personal scores after they cut business ties with him.
“I together with Mike Julius Kingoo Muia have been carrying out business of supplying hardware and renovating facilities at the National Youth Service in Gilgil,” Ngichini said in an affidavit sworn on June 7.

He went on to narrate that the meeting was in Langata and that the officer wanted to buy them Black Label whiskey which they declined. He also wanted to bed Ann.
“After our business and relationship went soar, Mike Julius Kingoo Muia vowed to use his position to fight our family. At the meeting, he suggested that we should proceed to his residence to take refreshments which we declined. He then told us that he would take the statement of Ms Wambere Ngirita at his residence alone as they enjoy “Black Label Whisky which we declined.”he said.

Popular Bongo singer Sam wa Ukweli has passed on. The singer’s producer Steve said the deceased had been sick for a while before he died.
Speaking to Millard Ayo, Steve said Sam confided in them a week before his death that he was suffering from HIV/AIDs. The producer explains that Sam wa Ukweli believed he had been bewitched because he tried using antiretroviral drugs which didn’t work for him.

There is a series known as A Womaniser, and I will play as the main character in the film. So the video and photos that people saw were from the movie, even Hamisa’s because she is a cast too,” Diamond Platnumz explained during an interview on Kaa Hapa show hosted by Mrisho Mpoto.
Diamond further stated that he was pleased with the role he was given in the movie because it perfectly suits his character in real life.
”They gave me the character and I had to play it because in passing the message you have to be in sync with the character, my character is someone who loves women, and I think that’ s why they gave the role,” said Diamond.

Diamond called out Esma over her statement during the interview with Dizzin Online. The ‘Iyena’ hit maker complains that his sister does not recognize Hamisa Mobetto yet she came with her to his birthday back then when they were still best friends.

A few days ago Hamisa Mobetto complained about everyone including Diamond’s mother, sisters and managers being against her relationship with the singer.
Hamisa’s fear of losing Diamond was accentuated by the release of the song ‘Iyena’ ( which shows Diamond and Zari’s wedding) and the fact that Diamond’s manager Babu Tale met Zari in South Africa.
Babu Tale has openly denied claims that he traveled to Pretoria, South Africa to meet Zari to persuade her to get back with his boss.

Diamond’s photographer has since explained the controversy surrounding the photos he took with Hamisa Mobetto. He says his boss sent him to the event to take photos, and that Hamisa Mobetto was just like any other subject he photographed or posed with at the event.

Last Sunday May 20th Wasafi TV launched a Muslim program dubbed ‘Nyumba Ya Imani’. Diamond Platnumz hosted a party at Wasafi’s headquarters to celebrate the launch.
The entire Wasafi family was present at the launch. Also in attendance were Diamond’s ex girlfriend Wema Sepetu and her current bae Hamisa Mobetto. Diamond’s mother however skipped the event.

Sanura admits that she beat up and chased Hamisa Mobetto from Madale home after she found out that she spent a night at her son’s house.
In an exclusive interview with Global Publishers, Sanura explains the whole drama started on the night of May 13th 2018 when they were from attending Mbosso’s concert (Mbosso is the latest artist signed by Wasafi Records).
Hamisa Mobetto
Sanura reveals that Diamond secretly sneaked Hamisa Mobetto into his house when they returned from Mbosso’s concert. She says she only discovered that Hamisa had spent the night in Diamond’s house in the morning.
Diamond’s mother admits that she she roughed up Hamisa and even pulled out her wig before she threw her out of her compound.
“Hayo mambo ya mzazi mwenzie ni huko, pale Madale ni kwangu na simtaki nyumbani kwangu kabisa. Alipokuja kiwizi usiku ule na kulala nyumbani kwangu, alipaswa kuondoka kabla sijamuona kwa nini alisubiri mimi nimkute maana siku hiyo asubuhi yake nilitoka na nilivyorudi ndipo nikamkuta. Mimi nilimsubiri tu getini na nilishajiapiza lazima nimpige,” Sanura said.
She adds that Diamond was the one who saved Hamisa from the beatings;
“Yupo na yeye ndiyo alimsaidia kumuamulia mimi nikabaki na wigi la sivyo ingekuwa shida. Alikimbia na viatu mkononi, maana nilikuwa nimeshavitupa nje ya nyumba yangu.”

Diamond’s mom says that she harbors ill feelings towards Mobetto because she badmouthed her last year when she was pregnant with Diamond’s son.
Sanura explains that she was determined to keep Hamisa’s pregnancy a secret to protect her son’s relationship with Zari. But Hamisa went on to leak information to the media that she was pregnant with Diamond’s son and even spoke ill of Sanura who didn’t want her to say anything about her pregnancy.
“Kitendo cha kuniitia mimi Shilawadu kilinikera sana halafu nikaanza kutukanwa kwenye mitandao ya kijamii. Yaani kiufupi simpendi na simtaki na kila akikanyaga hapa kwangu ni kipigo tu,” said Sanura.
Not a wife material

Sanura further reveals that Hamisa Mobetto is a super lazy woman. She explains that Hamisa can’t do simple house chores like making her own bed or general house cleaning.
“Kwanza tu siyo mwanamke wa kuoa hajui kutandika hata kitanda wala kufanya tu usafi ni shida. Si alishakaa hapa kipindi nipo Kigoma nilivyorudi ndani hakutamaniki kabisa.
Sanura also says that she won’t dare step at her son’s wedding in case she decides to marry Hamisa Mobetto. She explains that she won’t allow her son to make a decision that he will regret later.
“Siwezi kukanyaga kwenye hiyo harusi hata siku moja watasherekea wenyewe. Yaani atajua yeye mwenyewe maana mimi ndiyo nimemzaa Diamond na siyo yeye sasa sijui nani ana nguvu hapo,” Sanura lamented.
Zari or any other respectable woman
Diamond’s mother reveals that she will only allow her son to marry Zari or any other respectable woman, but not Hamisa Mobetto.
“Ninamheshimu Zari kwa sababu ni mwanamke ambaye ndiyo wa kwanza kabisa kumfanya mwanangu aitwe baba. Hayo mambo ya kuwa pamoja ni wao wenyewe mimi ni kusubiri tu Nasibu anilete mwanamke anayejiheshimu, kujielewa na awe amempenda mwenyewe siyo huyu Mobeto,” said Sanura.
Diamond’s mother Sanura Sandra Kassim caused a stir on social media when she unfollowed her son. It’s not clear what caused the move but many people believe it has everything to do with Zari Hassan and Hamisa Mobetto.
Sanura currently follows only 35 people on social media, and Diamond is not among them. She used to follow her son, the two routinely tagged each other on their posts on IG.

Conflict of interest
Some people believe the trouble in Tandale has been caused by Zari Hassan and Hamisa Mobetto. Diamond’s mother has always favored Zari over Mobetto. Even after Zari and Diamond broke up, Sanura maintained a warm relationship with her.
Diamond hooked up with Hamisa Mobetto after the breakup with Zari. Apparently his mother does not approve his relationship with Mobetto and this could be the reason she even unfollowed him on IG. Perhaps the silent treatment will compel him to think straight.
Zari Hassan may no longer have feelings for Diamond Platnumz but one thing is certain – she still loves her baby daddy’s songs.
The mother of five dumped Diamond on Valentine’s Day, she said she could no longer be with a man who disrespected her by fooling around with women.
“I loved him so much and everyone knows about that. You can go cheat there as a man but when it comes in with madharau, that is when it becomes too much. I felt that my integrity was so low. Like, when my big boys see Diamond misbehaving on social media, they will not have respect for women when they grow up,” said Zari during her recent trip to Kenya.

The mother of five was also seen dancing to Diamond’s collabo with Harmonize during her trip in Nairobi. Zari and her kid sister Zuleha Hassan couldn’t resist swaying their bodies as ‘Kwa Ngwaru’ played at Colour Purple Concert.
