After months of waiting for Bullet to bring the songs, Nana Opoku Kwarteng in an interview

with B Ice on Kumasi-based Agyenkwa FM noted that Bullet has not giving him any song from

his daughter and that he wants it to be on record that Bullet has not given him any of Ebony’s unreleased songs as of that time.

But in a recent interview, Nana Poku  said that

he paid for Ebony’s unreleased songs which were in possession of Bullet

and other sound engineers.

Starboy Kwarteng made this revelation during an interview on Adom FM’s ‘Work and Happiness’ show on February 4, 2019.

Ebony Would’ve Never Left RuffTown Records – Bullet

Artiste manager, Ricky Nana Agyemang, popularly known as Bullet, has refuted claims that the late Ebony Reigns wanted to leave his RuffTown records.

According to him, the Ebony he knew, would have never left his record label.

Speaking on “Behind the Fame with Lexis Bill” on “Drive Time” on Monday, Bullet explained

that even though he and the artiste had their disagreements, it was nothing major for Ebony to leave Ruff Town Records as people thought.

“The Ebony that I knew knows I did a lot for her and she will never do that,” he said.

There were several rumours after the death of the dancehall diva; one notably being that her relationship with Bullet had gone sour.

These rumours however exploded after the CEO of Zylofon Media Nana Appiah Mensah tweeted that Ebony wanted to leave Ruff Town for his record label.

Bullet, however, dispelled rumours that he and Ebony ever had a fall out.

“She never came anywhere to say Bullet did this or that. There was no interview that she badmouths me. Listen to all her interviews,” Bullet said.

He stated that in his short-lived relationship with Ebony, he never bullied her to do anything she did not want to do.

“If anything, she was the one who dictated what she wanted to do,” he added.

“If Ebony wanted to leave, it was because some people might have tried to win her over by giving her promises of money or convince her of better opportunities elsewhere,” he told Lexis Bill.

Bullet again added that artistes fall out with their management or groups mostly because

the people around them convince them.

“You are the man, you’re doing everything and you can stand on your own,” he commented.

He also explained his introduction of Wendy Shay during the 2018 Ghana Music Awards

had nothing to do with a sour relationship with Ebony.

“It was my award when I won the songwriter of the year that I introduced Wendy Shay [it was not to disrespect Ebony] and I know that all I did Ebony was going to be happy because she knew I loved to bring out the talent [in people].”

“Ebony was very close to my heart no matter what she did,” Bullet added.

Ebony, born Priscilla Opoku-Kwarteng, died in a gory accident on the Sunyani – Kumasi road last year.

Meanwhile, the relationship between Bullet and Ebony’s father, Nana Poku Kwarteng continues to be sour even a year after her demise.

Her one year anniversary is however slated for March 31.

I Didn’t Kill Ebony – Bullet

Artistes’ manager, Ricky Nana Agyeman, best known as Bullet has denied claims that he had

a hand in the death of Dancehall icon, Ebony Reigns

After Ebony’s death, many Ghanaians, including some prophets and even Ebony’s father pointed suggestive fingers at Bullet alleging he had something to do with the death of the late sensational singer.

But speaking to Accra-based Joy FM, Bullet said he has no hands in the death of the star girl who he had managed to become a household name in Ghana music.

According to the RuffTown CEO, he could never hurt a fly, let alone to talk of killing a human being. He also pointed out that it does not make any logical sense to kill an artiste he struggled to bring to the limelight and they were now about to reap their toils.

“You think it’s easy to kill [a] human being… I can never even kill a fly… For what, why would I do something like that…you think its easy to kill a star like Ebony?” Bullet quizzed.

“You think spiritually or physically I will be here…God knows I have no hand in her death no matter what,” he stressed.

Bullet however mentioned that he lost control over Ebony hence her ability to travel at that ungodly hour.

Bullet Blasts Vim Lady For ‘Attacking’ Wendy Shay

RuffTown Records boss, Ricky Nana Agyemang, better known as Bullet, has descended on Adom Fm’s Afia Pokua for disrespecting his artiste Wendy Shay.

Bullet’s reaction follows Afia Pokua, aka Vim Lady’s comments a few days ago.

The On-air personality had blasted Wendy Shay for dragging the name of Ghana’s president Nana Addo into disrepute by mentioning him in her single ‘uber driver’.

The ‘Uber Driver’ hitmaker  had recently paid a courtesy call on ppresident Akufo Addo.

She later shared a photo of her visit to the president on her official Instagram page with the caption;

“Great meeting with chief Uber Driver of Ghana?? #even Nana Addo nso p3hw3?? #ruifftownrecords #wendyshayto the world #teamshay #presidentofGhana #teamGhana #ghnanatotheworld”

Wendy, also indicated in a recent interview that the purpose of her meeting with Akuffo-Adfo was to present her single (Uber Driver) to him.

She further described the president, Akuffo-Addo as the “The Chief Uber Driver”.  Meaning, he can’t stop staring at ladies ass in reference to the lyrics of the “Uber Driver” song.

But to Vim Lady, the two former presidents, J.A Kufuor and John Mahama are people we hold in high esteem. Not to talk of the sitting president Nana Addo.

Hence, she believes that including their names in Wendy’s lyrics was disrespectful.

Bullet on the other hand sees nothing wrong with Wendy’s song nor her utterances. He therefore jumped to the defense of his artiste.

In a Facebook post he questioned if the radio presenter’s criticism of his artiste meeting the president was out of envy or jealousy?

He continued to question if his artiste, Wendy shay is not a Ghanaian or doesn’t have the right as a Ghanaian to visit the president.

Bullet then described the presenter’s criticisms of his artiste as that of an old woman who wants to bring down a young woman who is doing something good.

He posted;

“Afua pokuaa vim lady of adom FM,is it envy or jealousy?is Wendy shay not a Ghanaian and doesn’t she have the right as a Ghanaian to visit the president ?old women always want to bring young women who are doing something good down and it’s very sad.

Do you want to tell me musicians are not qualified to visit the president?

CEO of RuffTown Records, Ricky Nana Agyeman best known as Bullet has pounced back at critics of his artiste, Wendy Shay.

Social media was awash with photos of the ‘Uber Driver’ hitmaker few days ago with critics calling her out to change her hairstyle. This according to them is because she has kept her weavon for three months.

But her Manager, Bullet has asked Ghanaians to do away with their needless criticisms. According to Bullet, it is high time Ghanaians supported young talents and did away with unnecessary criticisms.

In a post on Facebook, the artiste manager said Ghanaians with their demonic tongues killed Ebony Reigns and he will not sit for Ghanaians to do same to Wendy Shay.

“Some Ghanaians hate to see young talented people progress.you guys did worst to ebony reigns when she was alive now is wendy shay.i dey beg una make you remove that your evil mouth from her,and those who dont get it, her hair style is her brand,” he wrote.

He also added that the label was able to shoot a video worth 20,000 US Dollars for Wendy. Hence, if anything at all, buying a weavon for her wouldn’t be a problem.

“if rufftown records can shoot 20,000 us dollar video for wendy shay then how much is weavon.Ghana support your own and stop the pull him down attitude!”.

Bullet Is My Dad, He Can’t ‘Sleep’ With Me – Wendy Shay

RuffTown records artiste, Wendy Shay, has debunked rumors that she and her manager, Bullet have sexual relationship with each other.

Rumor has it that Bullet, CEO of Rufftown records engages in sexually related activities with his female artistes, including the late Ebony Reigns.

Just yesterday, a video went viral of the two walking hand-in-hand at the Elwak Sports stadium in Accra.

Ghanaians couldn’t fathom why they will do so if they were not having any sort of intimate relationship.

But the newest act on the record label, Wendy, has debunked rumors suggesting she is having an affiar with her boss.

According to the “Uber Driver” hitmaker, she considers her manager, Bullet as a father hence, she can’t have sexual relations with him.

Shay claims the relationship between herself and Bullet is strictly platonic and the mere thought of taking it to the next level has never crossed her mind.

When asked in an interview if there could be something going on between the two, the singer said, “Oh naa, not at all. Bullet is my daddy. I have never even thought of anything like that”

The budding talent says she hopes to become an internationally recognized musician and strongly believes Bullet is capable of helping her gain that status.

Supporting her submissions, Bullet himself stated that he allows a free and cordial relationship with his artistes alright. But he explained that this he does to enhance a comfortable work environment, however, Ghanaians have misunderstood his intentions.

“I have a cool relationship with my talents. Music has to do with emotions, so I always want to connect with them on that level in order to bring out the best in them”, he averred.

Ebony’s Management Neglected Her – Ebony’s Father

Nana Opoku Kwarteng, father of the late Dancehall musician Ebony Reigns, has been making some shocking revelations after his daughter’s burial.

A few days ago, he revealed that Ebony was molested by Bullet, her manager.

However, today, he’s accusing the whole management team of negligence which has eventually led to the death of his beloved daughter.

According to him, Ebony management team’s failure to monitor her movement was a clear dereliction of duty.

He added that they should have known her location and itinerary at every point in time and should have stopped her from embarking a journey at that late hour.

Ebony, born Priscilla Opoku Kwaerteng died in a road accident on the Kumasi–Sunyani road on February 8. In her company were her driver, her friend, Franky Kuri, and a Military Man, Atsu Vondee, who was said to be her bodyguard.

Unfortunately, all passengers perished when their jeep collided with a VIP bus heading towards Sunyani from Kumasi. Only the driver survived.

After her death, reports later stated that Ebony traveled without the consent of her team management.

But Ebony’s father, Nana Opoku Kwarteng in an interview on Peace FM says he blames the management for not keeping track of her movement.

Nana Opoku maintained that  he’s grateful to Ebony’s management for unearthing her talent and making her a star. However, in his perspective, they woefully failed in doing a good job. He said that his daughter had no right to make that trip without permission from her management.

Ebony’s father’s speech;

“Nana Hemaa (Ebony) traveled very late in the night when Bullet (her manager) was abroad, according to him. A good management team handling a 21 year old super star should have taken good care of her. Somebody should have been with her on that journey, somebody should have corrected her as she shouldn’t have made that journey on her own. That is proper management, Ghanaians take things too easy. There’s more to the word management, I’m not being ungrateful but management should not be only about the music aspect of the artiste.

“When you’re managing someone, the person’s movement and all that concerns her is your concern. You don’t care the strength of that person, you take the decision for the person that’s why you are the manager. You’ve taken her from nowhere and you made her a star, if you’re her manager then your concern couldn’t have been only the music aspect.

“As a father I did my bit, I expected management to do their part. The bit about my daughter embarking on that journey, means someone failed woefully in doing his job, she didn’t have that right to say she was traveling to visit her mother without any management member knowing or accompanying her. Management should have arranged that journey and make sure she was safe.”

Video: Cloths For Ebony’s Funeral Unveiled

The family and management of late dancehall artiste, Ebony Reigns, have unveiled the cloths to be used as the official garments for her funeral.

The cloths, which are three in number, according to the family and her management, are not for her funeral only but are to also be a part of her legacy.

Unveiling of the cloths took place at a short ceremony at the West Hills Mall on Saturday, March 17.

Ebony’s father, Nana Opoku Kwarteng urged all to purchase and use the cloths on any occasion for the memory of his daughter to live on.

“It’s unfortunate we are here today not for anything, to launch funeral cloths of my daughter, the queen, Ebony. How sad it is,” said the grieving father.

“It’s very unfortunate if you ask me but I guess we have no option. We are here to launch the cloths, they are beautiful to see. You’ll admire them for sure. It is in to stay, so to speak. And we recommend that for every occasion, patronize so that Ebony will forever reign. It is your support that will make this come true”. He said, stressing on the need for the public to patronize the cloths.

Management;

Her Manager, Ricky Nana Agyemang (Bullet), CEO of RuffTown Records, also added that the introduction of the cloth was in line with his artiste’s dream.

“We are doing this for Ebony Reigns. When she was alive, she was always with me. She told me most of the things she wanted to do. She wanted to have ‘Ntoma Collections’ because all the other musicians had casual wears. So it’s like a dream come true,” said Bullet.

The clothes are named after her songs ‘Maame Hwe’  which comes in two different types and ‘Aseda’, which is black and white.

Meanwhile, the final funeral rites and burial service for the late Ebony, born Priscilla Opoku Kwarteng, will be held on March 24 at the forecourt of the State House in Accra.

Prior to this is a tribute musical concert for the late songstress on March 23 at the Trade Fair Center in Accra.

The concert will witness performances from various top artistes. Some of them include; Sarkodie, Stonebwoy, VIP, R2Bees, Edem, Kofi Kinaata, Efya  and many others.
