Samini, Kojo Antwi, Daddy Lumba To Headline African Legends Night concert

The scores will be settled for the most anticipated live event ever in Ghana at at this year’s

Vodafone African Legends Night.

The event will however witness performances by  “Mr Music Man” Kojo Antwi and lover man Charles

Kwadwo Fosu aka Daddy Lumba.

Call it a cherry on a on vanilla ice cream, joining the two legendary musicians will be

the formidable Dancehall artiste, Samini.

The venue for this year’s edition is the plush Kempinski Hotel in Accra.

The date however is 29th September 2018.

In over three decades of Ghanaian music experience, no event platform has seen Kojo Antwi

and Daddy Lumba share the same stage. Now, Global Media Alliance has made this possible.

 

Samini’s ‘My Own’ Is A Fantastic Song – Anas

If you ever thought that investigative journalist, Anas Aremeyaw Anas is too busy to listen to songs, then you may have to re-think that.

The awards winning journalist has described Dancehall/Reggae artiste, Samini’s ‘My Own’ song as “fantastic”.

Anas on in an interview on Morning Starr on Starr 103.5 FM took time to tell host, Francis Abban the very ‘spices’ that makes the song a fantastic one.

“It’s a great song. It has all the rhythms, the arrangement, and all that – fantastic.” He noted.

Samini released new song titled ‘My Own’ on Reggae Fest album in June last year. He followed it with a touching video in July 2017 which has close to a million views on Youtube.

which has since won the hearts of many music lovers.

The song has not only won the hearts of many music lovers but also resuscitated the career of Samini which had been dormant for a decade.

Samini signed his first record deal with Ashanti International. He left the label to High Grade Family.

He has six studio albums to his credit. He has won multiple awards both in Ghana, and around the world.

Sad! No 2017 SaminiFest – Samini Explains

This is sad news for Samini fans and those waiting on Saminifest.

Dancehall artist, Emmanuel Andrew Samini popularly known as Samini has stated that this year’s edition of the annual Saminifest concert will not come off. Therefore fans should change their plans.

He told Christian Agyei Frimpong on Onua FM in Accra that the annual week-long event is on hold for this year.

He gave his reason for cancelling this year’s  Saminifest. Samini explains that he wants to try something new.

Furthermore, he continued that he plans to embark on a nationwide tour very soon. This is to help him get closer to his fans outside the nation’s capital who have missed him.

He also spoke about the bus tour which will kick off soon. Samini disclosed that he has pumped a lot of money into the project but would not mention the amount.

The previous three editions of the celebration was a week-long event with different activities on each day. They were climaxed with mega concert.
