Shatta Michy Is Okay With Me Being In Bed With Her Man – Efia Odo

A couple weeks ago, we posted a story of Shatta Wale in bed with an American based actress, Efia Odo. The pictures raised eyebrows and made people question the state of affairs between Shatta Wale and his longtime fiance, Shatta Mitchy.

The actress, Efia Odo has clarified her stance on the pictures that were posted. She said she only knows Shatta Mitchy from a distance and does not think she has a problem with her being in bed with Shatta Wale. She said she appears in Shatta Wale’s Snapchat a lot and he also appears in hers. That is why she feels Mitchy would not have a problem with her.
The US-based actress said she did not understand why Ghanaians are making a fuss of the bedroom photo she snapped with Shatta Wale whilst other women like Sister Afia have kissed him on stage and did not receive backlash.
“Shatta Wale is my best friend and we hang out a lot in the club with friends but there is nothing going on between us. I don’t date married men and we didn’t do anything in that photo” she said.

12 Year Old Boy Excels In BECE, Benefits From Free SHS

The Nana led government free Senior High School Policy Programme has received massive patronage and applauds from many Ghanaians and Non-Ghanaians across the globe.

A recent story associated with the policy is the discovery of a 12-year old boy whose academic dexterity has catapulted him years ahead of his mates to also benefit from the program.

The 12- year old genius Jeremiah Ngambire, who hails  from Pelengu in the Nabdam District and Freshman of Navrongo Senior High School (NAVASCO), sat for the Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE) as a candidate of the Lovely Home Academy in the Central Region came out with flying colors with aggregate eight which gained him admission into the Senior High School.

Result slip of Ngambire Jeremiah

After so many fruitless attempts to reach the young man’s father, a telephone conversation with Mr. Shadrack Ngambire, Jeremiah’s father revealed that the young boy’s age was accurate as stated. He indicated that his son was born in August 2005 and started schooling at age five. The father again revealed that his son started  his primary school education in the year 2011 and recounted that the school authorities upon realizing the academic prowess of Jeremiah gave him a double promotion to primary three.

He further added that the young genius was then promoted again right from primary three to primary five by his class three teacher together with school authorities because of his exceptional performance.

Young Ngambire with Hon Kofi Adda

Young Jeremiah, who is studying General Science as a course at the SHS however won the admiration of many including the current Minister for Water and Sanitation and Member of Parliament(MP) for Navrongo Central, Hon Joseph Kofi Adda who recently paid a visit to the school to observe the implementation of the Government’s fee-free education policy in the Upper East Region who encouraged the young man not to be relentless in his studies adding that “I want you to read medicine and become my doctor in future” as was reported by Starr FM where it was indicated that the Minister had earlier pulled the boy to his side and inquired from him the program he was studying. The Minister is said to have then given his complimentary card to Jeremiah and asked him to deliver it to his parents for a possible scholarship to the university to pursue  a course in medicine.

Sonnie Badu Speaks On ‘One Corner’ Song

The UK- based and multiple award winning Ghanaian Gospel Singer and producer has expressed great worries over the recent popular ‘one corner’ dance.

The Inspirational Gospel Singer expressed that, it is becoming more dangerous and life threatening for people engaging in the dance and is therefore calling for urgent control measures and restrictions on the famous ‘one corner’ dance craze. Sharing his views on the dance which has appeared to be a public nuisance on various social media platforms, the Gospel Minister said that he is seriously worried seeing people performing the dance under vehicles and even on moving trucks as well as on busy roads.

He could not hide his uttermost surprise and worries when he added that ” It’s getting dangerous. I saw someone climb an electric pole, I saw someone climb a tipper truck, I saw someone run under a car and I saw someone dancing while cars were moving. Now this is getting out of hands. Do you want to wait until you hear somebody dead before you say ‘one corner’ killed him?’ he queried.

But perhaps, Sonnie has not actually heard that the dance has already claimed one life as was reported by yen.com few days ago. He is not the only person who has expressed worries and dislike over the social media dance trend  as another Minister and Head Pastor of WordAflame Family Chapel  Rev. Mrs Jennifer Selly has also said that the artiste behind the Popular song Patapaa, consulted ‘juju’ man before releasing the song and has therefore cautioned Christians to refrain from the song.

She stated that she believed Christianity was like idol worship. She said, ““I don’t believe that Jesus Christ is God, I don’t believe that you have to pray through Jesus Christ. I don’t believe all those stories about Jesus Christ but I believe in God.”

Recently she made more comments on her religious stance and defending why she denounced and left Christianity. In an interview, she said, “Judaism makes more sense to me so that is basically it. I have been Hari Krishna before, and then I moved to Christianity and now I am at Judaism, who knows where I will be tomorrow”

We also don’t know where she will be at next but what we do know is that we will keep you posted.

Akrama Mensah( Shatta Wale’s father) Isn’t The Right Person To Be Enstooled As chief -Nii Armah Okine

The Ga South Traditional Council in Greater Accra region had revealed that the father of self acclaimed dancehall artiste Shatta Wale is not entitled to carry or call himself as Chief of the area.

According to the Chiefs and elders of Ngleshie Ananfrom, Mr. Nyormor Bei aka Akrama Mensah holds the position of an executioner at Amanfrom palace and cannot therefore be recognized as a Chief.

Shatta Wale and Father

Mr. Nii Armah Okine, Head of the Royal Akramanaa Family of Ngleshie Amanfrom, made this revelation yesterday at a press conference in Accra where he called on the general public to disregard  Shatta Wale’s father, Akrama Mensah as Chief. He further explained that he is the only person permitted to either enstool or destool  Chiefs per their customary law and tradition.  The Traditional leader further clarified that, “Akramah Mensah hasn’t been enstooled. He is a member of the family alright but his position at the palace is an executioner and he isn’t the right person to be enstooled as Chief”

Nii Armah Okine, as the Head of the Akramana family however warned Mr. Nyormor Bei to desist from holding himself as the Chief of the area disclosing that the only person recognized as Chief of Ngleshie Amanfrom is his brother, Nii  Kwashie Gborlor IV who has sworn allegiance to the Paramount Chief of the Traditional Council, Obrempong Nii Kojo Ababio. Adding that “so if one Nii Nyormor Bei, Shatta wale’s father is claiming he is rather Chief, then he might have gotten the position from the Nsawam prison emphasizing that Shatta Wale’s father is an ex convict who was jailed for impersonating the late P.V Obeng and is not therefore fit to be enstooled as Chief per the traditions of the Ga State.

Musah Superior To Rescue Tamale Wayward Teenagers

Mr. Iddrisu Musah Superior, Metropolitan Chief Executive (MCE) of Tamale the Northern Region capital, is on a mission to rescue several teenagers engaged in smoking and selling of marijuana (wee), prostitution and other criminal activities in forest reserves in the metropolis.

Mr. Iddrisu Superior

Speaking in an interview with the media, Mr. Musah Superior expressed shock at the phenomenon. He said since he assumed office, he had had restless nights as he goes undercover to get a firsthand experience of the activities at the forest where he discovered that boys and girls between the ages of eight and ten, who are supposed to be in school, are engaged in brisk businesses – like selling of sachet water  in the midst of “wee” smokers, turning the forest into a community on its own. Also activities such as trading in stolen items such as motorbikes, bicycles, laptops, mobile phones, and other appliances are common.

He stressed that although reprehensible activities in the forest reserves are known to most chiefs, opinion leaders and previous city authorities, nothing has been done about it.

The MCE observed that danger would befall Tamale if immediate steps were not taken to save most of the young people in the Metropolis from self-destruction, blaming the situation on a lack of parental control as similar activities happen at various lorry stations, the football fields, gardens and other obscure places in the city.

Mr. Iddrisu Superior has currently formed a combined team comprising representatives from the military, police and the Tamale Metropolitan Task-force to arrest all the squatters in the forests.

“From my interactions with them I have realized that genuinely some of them want to do great things for themselves but they are engaged in what they are doing because their parents could not afford their school fees and they are now school dropouts, and we are going to support them,” he said.

The MCE hinted that his administration had prepared a comprehensive support package for those who want to go back to school. He is complementing his efforts with a media campaign and hopes to clear the forest reserves at Aboabo and Gumani of the wayward youth by October 9, 2017.

Do We Believe Him? Blakk Rasta Says He Has Never Smoked Weed

Controversial radio host and musician, Blakk Rasta has spoken out about the fact that he has never smoked marijuana in his life. He made these statements on “After Hours” with Mikki Osei Berko.
He however argued that there are so many benefits associated with the use of marijuana and urged government to consider its legalization in Ghana. He also said that the legalisation could generate so much revenue for the state.
We must remember that last year he appeared before the Parliamentary Privileges Committee after he accused MPs of being hypocritical for not supporting the campaign.

Blakk Rasta also revealed that he will make a return to radio.
It is kind of hard to believe him when he says he has never touched the substance. Why is he so hellbent on legalisation if he would not benefit from it?

Woow!! Actress Jasmine Baroude Takes ‘Hausa Koko’ To A Different Level

Have you ever thought of the kinds of foods your favorite celebrities enjoy eating. Perhaps, you just pictured yours enjoying tea with some toasted bread and some vegetables as breakfast. Well, you might have to think twice after seeing how the beautiful actress Jasmine Baroude Sweetly and and deliciously sucks on ‘hausa koko’ tied in  a rubber.

The millet porridge locally called ‘Hausa Koko’ is simply a thick flowing tasty solution made from millet with a few local spices added to give it a particular taste and color. It is called ‘Hausa Koko’ because of its popularity in the northern areas and is believed to have been first made by the Hausas. It is mostly served with ‘Koose’, a millet based paste which is made into balls and fried in vegetable oil.

Though many people enjoy this dish, they do feel shy to be seen at any ‘koko’ joint to buy it not to talk of sucking it for the whole world to see. Perhaps, Jasmine is relaying a message to us especially the youth out there that is it not a crime to be yourself and appreciate our local foods. So next time you pass by a ‘hausa Koko’ joint, feel free to get some and enjoy.

I Am Not Ready To Forgive Caroline – MzBel

MzBel is once again in the news and making controversial and contradictory statements. Last year, Caroline Sampson made certain statements regarding the paternity of Mzbel’s son. Mzbel did not take these statements lightly and launched several attacks against her.

She was asked whether she had made up with Caroline and she responded, “No, and I don’t think I will ever be nice… It’s hard. The answer is no. I can’t help it. It hurts. Until she comes out to say that she lied, then I can let go but otherwise it is just too heavy for me.”

She later revealed on Andrew Tandoh Adote’s show that she is a changed person.  She stated, “I am not so proud of some the things I did in the past. It looks like how people get to know you from the beginning, is what sticks in their mind. It is very difficult to erase the memory of who you used to be. So it is difficult but I am trying to do my best.”

She insists that she is now a matured person. The question we have is, isn’t a changed person supposed to be able to forgive those who wrong her without expecting anything in return.

We will be on the lookout for her new music and her various endeavours.
