You Have To Accept Kwabena Kwabena If You Do R. Kelly – Nacee

Nacee has stated his opinions on the hypocrisy of Ghanaians.

Gospel musician, Nacee doesn’t understand why “Bue Kwan” by Kwabena Kwabena was not embraced by Ghanaians as a gospel song.

According to him, Ghanaians have the perception that gospel songs should only be produced by gospel artistes. Therefore, secular musicians can’t do gospel music.

He made these statements on Daybrak Hitz.

The same people who rejected Kwabena Kwabena accept R. Kelly, Nacee

Furthermore, Nacee explained that R Kelly’s gospel music is accepted by a lot of churches. This is despite the several scandals Kelly has been involved in. However, his songs are sung in Ghanaian churches without anyone questioning his status as a secular musician.

“the same people who rejected Kwabena Kwabena’s gospel song accept R Kelly in our churches.”

“R Kelly has done many awkward things that Kwabena Kwabena hasn’t yet he sang the ‘Storm is Over, ‘You Saved Me’, songs that were remixed by T D Jakes”

Nacee seemed genuinely perplexed over the two-faced nature of the whole situation. Moreover, he questioned, “is it because it’s coming from outside so we have to accept it?

The song by Richmond Xavier Amoakoh popularly known as Lawyer Ntikatakyie Bombay Isaiah  features Clemento Suarez alias Jon Bull.

‘Paapa To’ is a refix of Ebony’s ‘Maame Hwe’ which is in support of the songstress’ campaign against domestic violence. This time however, a man is the one suffering in the hands of his abusive wife.

It talks about violence in relationships, where the comic actor is married to a “bullying” wife who abuses him day and night.

In the video Lawyer Nti runs to his father(Jon Bull) to complain about the attitude of his wife. His father however advised that marriage is “for better and for worse”. But if he thinks he can’t marry again he should go to court.

Richmond plays the role of a weird, funny and English deficient lawyer. Jon Bull on the other hand never defends a case without his gesticulations in Kejetia versus Makola TV series.

Lawyer Nti is credited with the popular phrase “My crient”, “this maen” and “distin”. Looks like ‘Distin’ has however come to stay as many Ghanaians have resolved to using it in their daily speeches.

Heeding his father’s advise, Lawyer Nti  ends up taking the case to court.

The music therefore ends with a scene in court. Although uploaded on Youtube on January 27, 2018, the video already has over 3,000 views.

Mzbel Finally Reveals Why She Used To Expose Her ‘Private Parts – Mzbel

Hiplife artiste, Belinda Nana Ekua Amoah aka Mzbel has revealed that she used to expose parts of her body because her handlers were not professionals, hence allowed her to do whatever she wanted.

According to the songstress, the people who discovered her were amateurish; the reason for her ‘indecent’ way of dressing.

Mzbel added that, Stardom just came to her by chance because she was not prepared for it. To make matters worst, the people who discovered her could also not handle her.

Mzbel Speaks

She said “exposing part of my body wasn’t deliberate. This whole music thing and celebrity thing came to me by chance. I was working in a studio as a production assistant and a front desk girl. And they had this studio and did some freestyle and people loved it. They put it out there and I was a star”.

She indicated that “I was all over the place. It wasn’t planned. Music was never part of my plan, I never planned it, I wasn’t prepared for it. So I was going along with the flow and having fun and whatever I felt like wearing I wear and we go because even if people talk, they will come and watch it”.

Mzbel noted that the people who discovered her were not professionals and did not know what they were doing so they moved along with the flow, they made money and shared but did not work like professional managers do.

Mzbel has been in the music industry for over a decade now. The ‘Awoso Me’ hitmaker is one of the celebrities who built her career on the grounds of sexual imagery and risque lyrics. One would say the very same thing dancehall act Ebony is doing now.

The good news however is that, Mzbel changed her choice of costumes few years back.

This notwithstanding, the act of nudity among our female celebrities seems to be on the rise now. A worry to majority of Ghanaians with a few however not seeing anything wrong with it.

Live Worship Killing Creativity – Nicholas Omane Acheampong

Nicholas Omane Acheampong is coming for non-creative gospel musicians.

Gospel musician, Nicholas Omane Acheampong stated that live worship performances by gospel artistes stifle their creativity.

For a while now, radio stations have started a new trend. The trend is they invite gospel singers into their studios to lead their listeners in worship sessions.

However, Omane Acheampong thinks that more gospel artistes are following the trend in performing songs created by others. Therefore, they are not making an effort to create their own songs.

He made these comments to Andy Dosty on Daybreak Hitz.

More On Story

He stressed that Gospel music industry lacked talented and spirit-filled musicians and writers. These iclude the Daughters of Glorious Jesus, Yaw Sarpong, Tagoe Sisters and himself.

Also, he reprimanded the performers who begun their performances at shows and events with “so called live worship”.

Furthermore, instead of the artistes serving the audiences with the songs for which they are noted, they waste time performing songs of others calling it live worship.

However, he added that he was not against live performance. Rather, he encourages Gospel artistes to ask God for inspirations to write songs of their own.
