¨I am scared for my life and future¨ DJ Evolve speaks following Babu Owino´s release

B-Club deejay Felix Orinda popularly known as DJ Evolve has raised concerns over his safety following the release of Embakasi MP, Babu Owino on bail.

The deejay who is still undergoing treatment locally, is paralyzed from the neck down. This is after a fatal shooting with the Kenyan legislator on the 17th of January.

Reports reveal that the disk jockey is suffering from a condition ´quadriplegia´, losing his sensory and motor abilities.

However, DJ Evolve´s test results indicated that there was heroin, bhang and alcohol in his system as well as the first two, in his possession.

Early yesterday, the 27th of January, the politician´s release did not augur well with the victim´s family who claimed they fear for their lives.

During Babu Owino´s bail hearing, the bail assessment report read:

Their plea to the court is that if the same is granted, other protective measures should be instituted to ensure the security of the victim, family and also to safeguard against witness interference.

I am in pain, I am tired and traumatized. Plus, I don´t want to talk and I cannot fathom anything. I have not slept for days because I am scared of my life and future.

Bail

The Embakasi MP was granted a Ksh 10 Million bail that is to be paid up in 4 installments for the next 3 months.

The first Ksh 2.5 million, frees him from Industrial Area remand for the last one week.

According to Chief Magistrate, Francis Andayi, the money will be used to settle the deejay´s hospital bill.

Babu Owino has been banned from any alcohol or narcotic drug abuse in public places until the case is determined.

Bien-Aime Baraza´s long-time girlfriend has opened up on her mixed race, breast lift surgery and trolls.

The UK-bred dance choreographer who was raised in the Queen´s land admitted that living in Kenya was one of the best decisions she ever made.

My uncle, being a war correspondent, lives in Kenya because it is quite a calm country. My two friends who we lived with while in the UK, are half Kenyan and they were coming home. I decided that I´m coming with them and it was literally as simple as that. I came here and I was Like ¨this place rocks. I´m staying. Unfortunately for her, being mixed race meant to many that she is bougie – something she fights with every damn time.

I also think it is something to do the fact that I’m mixed race as opposed to being black, people think that maybe I’m not so connected with my African side. NRG´s Radio presenter, Mwalimu Rachel´s scathing act that saw her spend a night behind bars

Popular radio presenter, Mwalimu Rachel was freed from jail following her arrest after allegedly beating up an upcoming artiste.

Friday, the 24th of January, the NRG presenter reported to Kinoo Police Post where she was accused of assaulting and taking possessions of an upcoming artiste.

This saw her spend the night behind bars until the following day when she was released.

The artiste, currently undergoing trauma counselling, filled a P3 for the assault. As reported by Mpasho, the victim´s guardian revealed:

The lad is traumatized after Mwalimu Rachel, her lover and other accomplices (heavy built men) squeezed his balls. They also pulled two long locks of his dreads out and really beat him up. He still has a black eye.

A witness who spoke to Mpasho, insinuated that the beating was due to a Ksh 10 Million deal the NRG radio presenter lost because of Miracle Baby´s absence.

Bongo Flava star, Harmonize has been making headlines after constantly being accused of plagiarism in his music.

Soon after his exit from Diamond´s Wasafi records, he released ¨Uno¨ that hit but faced controversy from Kenya´s producer, Magix Enga who accused him of sampling his beats without permission.

However, that settled, but barely 2 months later, he is back on stage, facing allegations from Tanzania´s music legend, Mr nice over his current hit, ¨Hainistui¨.

Stivo Simple Boy and his friends to be arraigned in court for ´idling´

Kibra-bred rapper, Stivo Simple Boy and his friends rubbed shoulders with the police over the weekend, that saw them spend nights behind bars.

Saturday, while the fast-rising talent was shooting his music video, his dear friend, Gideon was busy selling Stivo´s merchandise at Friends´ Church.

Something that had actually been agreed upon between Gideon and the church. A close source to TUKO revealed:

Gideon has been selling his stuff at that church for 2 years now and has never had issues. He and the church have an agreement.

However, the police took this for ´idling´ and apprehended Gideon, which caused worry for Stivo Simple Boy when he could not get into contact with his friend.

Misunderstanding

Later in the day, Stivo learnt about his friend´s arrest and decided to head over to Kilimani Police station to inquire about the arrest.

According to the police, Gideon was conducting business without the required documentation to legalize his business.

Unfortunately, the day did not end well, because soon after Stivo´s arrival at the police station, the rapper was also locked up.

Chantelle Petit who is now a mother to one beautiful baby girl summer has lately been hinting that her past relationship was a mistake she wishes never happened.

Well, this is probably due to the challenges she has faced since dating her ex and baby daddy Ephy Saint.

The two broke up while she was still pregnant; and word has it – that the lad was cheating on her with Brenda Wairimu.

Looking back at how Chantelle’s 2018 was, it’s evident to see that she not only struggled with depression but also faced a lot of medical complications.

From one of her Vblogs, Chantelle revealed that she had to undergo reconstructive fistula surgery after a 3rd degree tear during delivery. She added that the experience was too painful to a point where she could not hold her baby for more than five minutes or sit and walk properly.

Although things have started working out for her, Chantelle Petit says that if the hands of time could be turned back she do things differently.

Endo Warrior, Njambi Koikai did not have an easy time in school after being expelled severally right from high school, to A-levels and even in campus.

The reggae lover who shared her story on Instagram, revealed that her condition saw her study for much longer than she was actually expected to.

Fortunately enough, she completed all her studies.

I was expelled from 4 high schools, dropped out of A-levels, went to Daystar University, graduated in 2008, joined USIU dropped out in 2009 and went back and finally graduated in 2016.

In another of her posts, she admits that Endometriosis and Adenomyosis robbed her off, her younger years.

Endometriosis and Adenomyosis had to do with all my struggles in high school and all the expulsions and Uni. This disease robbed me off my younger years. Affected my social life and certainly my studies.

The start of 2020 has not been as kind to Kenyan artists, Avril and Naiboi. The two started the new decade with a beef that just seems not to die off.

Naiboi called out Avril for missing his ´2 in 1´ shoot that ended up being a hit in Kenya and beyond. However, Avril had her reasons but Naiboi is not going to give her a listening ear.

Speaking in regard to the beef during her recent interview with Milele FM, the curvy songbird shared:

He is the one who started the beef. I had just delivered my baby and I was in recovery mode though no one knew. He sent me a message asking if it was possible for me to do a videos and I agreed. Little did I know he wanted it immediately.

A dear Avril, who had just delivered and wanted to keep the news a secret, didn´t know how to respond to an insisting Naiboi.

Away from the beef, the ravishing beauty disclosed that she delivered through episiotomy.

I had a problem sitting down and yet Naiboi wanted me to do makeup and shoot the video. I didn´t have that time. So when I said I didn´t feel like it, it´s true.

Episiotomy is a surgical cut made at the opening of the vagina during childbirth, to aid a difficult delivery and prevent rupture of tissues.

Responding to Naiboi´s post, Avril said that she had had enough of being picked on:

Owago Onyiro shares unknown details revealing why he quit his radio job!

Former Churchill show comedian Owago Onyiro has had a successful career over the years; but a while back he shocked many after quitting his well paying job at KBC Radio Taifa.

Speaking to Pulse live, Owago for the very first time opened up revealing the main reason that forced him to quit his job. According to the comedian, he felt unwanted at the place by a few colleagues who had worked at the station for years.

To them he appeared like a threat earning too much money and not a workmate; for this reason Owago Onyiro found himself dealing with people showing him attitude. He opened up saying;

“Radio nilifanya lakini unajua kuna wale watu wana roho mbaya mpaka nikaona mbona nikorofishane na watu. Unajua wanaona sisi tumefanya hapa kazi miaka Kumi, huyu mtoto anakuja juzi na analipwa hela mingi. Kuna vitu mimi kama mtu kutoka huko Kisumu siwezi kubali nikawaachia tu. Hapa nje sisi ni walewale,”

For those sitting on their talents, Owago urged them to start from home and continue pushing  harder since nothing in life comes easily or for free:

“Nikujiamini na usikutane na Owago useme mimi nachekesha. Hapana follow your dreams usitafute short cut na ukitaka kuwa msanii ama comedian lazima uanzie kwenu. Lazima watu wa hio area wajue wewe ni comedian.”

Kenyan fast-rising songbird, Wambui Katee has opened up on having deadbeat stepfathers who only took advantage of her, instead of being father figures.

Sharing this on social media, the mellow-voiced singer bashed:

All the fathers who leave their kids intentionally, and those who rape their kids, should be hanged.

Because for her, a father should be a parent, regardless of a blood connection or not. What disgusts her most is how fathers conduct themselves around their young, innocent daughters.

Whether father or step father. You are a FATHER. FATHER YOUR CHILD and stop touching her or asking unnecessary stuff.

For her, men´s reputation might have been damaged by the blunders her step-fathers made while she was still young and vulnerable.

Well, looking at how her come back has been since the last time she had dropped a hit song; we can tell that things did not work out so good for her.

Kenyan female rapper, Noti Flow has now turned tables, claiming she actually ditched Colonel Mustafa for cheating with an older woman.

Outrightly contradicting earlier claims of having dumped Mustafa for being gay.  In a recent interview with Radio Citizen, the lass revealed Mustafa played her with a sugar mummy.

I left him because of this woman who I realized was an old woman. She was calling, texting and even video called. I got pissed because I never even used to video call him but this woman did.

The consistency between Colonel and this older woman irked her nerves to the point she could not hang on any longer.

So I answered his phone one day and we talked with the lady but she hanged up. I then checked messages, I was disappointed. They had been seeing each other.

Yvette decided to drop by the singer´s office, on a random day and without any ´appointments´ because well, for her, she needs no prior notices.

Tanzanian RnB singer, Ben Pol revealed he had never met nor known his now-betrothed, Anerlisa until when they met at a Press Conference back in 2018.

During an exclusive interview with Tanzania´s Clouds FM on Thursday, the bongo flava sensation admitted that work and social circles is what brought their worlds together.

So Anerlisa´s friend organized for a Press Conference in which Anerlisa and Ben Pol were both present.
