Jalang’o and Susan Kaittany shared the stage over the past weekend to celebrate the 20th anniversary of ATS Travel Agency’s presence in travel and tours business.

ATS Travel Agency is owned and run by Susan Kaittany’s family. The travel company threw the lavish gala dinner to toast to its successes and remarkable achievements for the past 20 years it has been in business.

Susan Kaittany and Jalang’0 were the official MCs at the gala which went down at the Movenpick Hotel & Residences. The two kept the guests entertained throughout the night.

Jalang’o and Susan Kaittany are set to share stage to celebrate the 20th anniversary of ‘s presence in travel and tours business.

ATS Travel Agency is owned and run by Susan Kaittany’s family. The travel company is throwing the lavish gala dinner to toast to its successes and remarkable achievements for the past 20 years it has been in business.

The travel company has been able to gain over 200,000 hotel and accommodation partners, work with over 50 airline partners, complete close to 30,000 customer orders and employ almost 100 people. ATS Travel Agency has four branches across Kenya; Nairobi, Kisumu, Kitale and Eldoret.

The 20th anniversary celebration will be held this Friday 8th June at the newly-opened high-end Movenpick Hotel in Westlands. ATS’s clients, partners and industry’s stakeholders are expected to grace the gala.

Jalang’o: I have 3,212 pairs of shoe. In a good week I can buy as many as four pairs of shoes

Jalang’o is overtly obsessed with shoes. The comedian’s undying urge to buy shoes has something to do with his childhood experience.

Jalang’o is among those celebrities who come from a humble background. Basic things like a pair of shoe was something the comedian lacked in his childhood.

The best he could afford then was akala (sandals made out of vehicle’s tyre). Jalango is now compensating for what he lacked in his childhood by buying thousands of shoes.

One shoe a day for 8 years

Jalango buys at least four pairs of shoes in a week, currently has 3,212 pairs of shoe. The comedian can wear one pair of shoes each day for the next eight years without repeating a single pair.

“My love for shoes started when I joined Form One. My dad had fund raised to take me to school and that’s when he got me my first pair of shoes. I’m just compensating for the years I never had shoes. Currently, I have 3,212 pairs of shoe. In a good week I can buy as many as four pairs of shoes,” says Jalang’o.

 

 

Jalang’o on set to clear the final big hurdle for him to join politics and quit radio altogether

Jalang’o is in his last five years on radio. The Hot 96 presenter is prepping himself to quit his illustrious career in radio and ultimately join politics.

For one to vie for a parliamentary seat in Kenya, he/she is required to have a university degree. Jalang’o doesn’t have one yet but he will have it soon.

The Hot 96 presenter is eyeing Langata parliamentary seat and has enrolled himself at Daystar University to pursue an undergraduate degree in Community Development.

“I choose community development because as MP for Langata constituency I have to be able to take care of community matters,” said Jalang’o in a recent interview.

2019 the game changer

Jalang’o says everyone will know when he finally graduates from university in 2019. The 35-year-old will have a grand celebration because the degree will be the final hurdle for him to vie for MP.

“I am graduating in 2019, it will be lit for days. The day I graduate this town will not sleep. I have achieved all these (success) without having a degree, imagine what am about to do once I get it,” said Jalang’o.

Comedian, Radio presenter cum MC Jalang’o aka Jalas is a man who knows how to spoil his daughter, Sally. For her 7th birthday the fella decided to leave many envious after he went all out to give her the perfect party.

Thanks to a few photos shared on his Instagram page; we understand that Jalang’o and his baby mama invited some of their close friends to come celebrate with their daughter. Among the invited guests were Obinna with his kids, Mr Nice, Alex Mwakideu among others.

Apart from the food and drinks…Jalang’o also happened to hire a bouncing castle for the kids who could not stay away from it. There was also face painting among other fun activities.

Jalango and baby mama co-parenting

Although it has not been easy for Jalang’o and ex Cheptoek Boyo to co parent; the two have a way of making it work.

As revealed by Boyo a while back, she is no longer dating Jalang’o as they had split. She confirmed this by posting;

 “We broke up over two years ago and for the respect of his wife and family, I would like to set the record straight. Yes, I am single and he is happily married. We are still good friends and co-parenting has never been better.”

Diamond Platnumz has given Jalang’o a new job. The Kenyan comedian/presenter struck a deal to work for Diamond as a part time job.

Diamond is in Kenya to stay, the new job he has given Jalango confirms it all. The Tanzanian crooner now owns a piece of land in 254 and has also opened Wasafi records studio in the capital.

Baba Tiffah has also has appointed Jalango as his official MC in Kenya. What that means is that Jalas will be emceeing at all events Diamond attends in Kenya.

Jalang’o expressed his joy on landing the new job from Diamond. He earnestly thanked his new boss in a post on social media.

Comedian Jalang’o is not only known for his witty jokes but his green suit which he pairs with his trademark yellow and black blouse.

This specific blouse has seen him through thick and thin. He started wearing it while performing at the nation theatre before going to churchill, graduating to big gigs whether locally or abroad.

Well, in a new post shared on his Instagram page, the comedian has shared a few details explaining how he got the blouse.

 

In his post Jalang’o says that he randomly picked this shirt as he walking into another scene at the national theatre a few years ago. He says that it belong to one of his friend’s, Arigi and when he got on stage everyone laughed. He wrote saying;

Jalang’0 has revealed the nature of his friendship with his co-host Jeff Koinange. He says Jeff parted with a whopping Kes 1.3 million just to buy him a watch.

Jalas quit Radio Maisha in April 2017 after four years of working there. The comedian-cum-presenter teamed up with Jeff Koinange for a morning show on Hot 96.

Jeff and Jalang’o have since become BFFs in just nine months that they have been working together. Their friendship is best defined by the extent they willing to go just to make each other happy.

Jalango opened up about the expensive gift he got from Jeff during an interview with Mpasho. The Hot 96 presenter reveals that his colleague bought him an Audemars Piguet wrist watch that costs 1.3 million shillings.

Jalas and Otos (Jalango and Kazungu Matano) played the role of Wilbroda’s nuisance relatives on Papa Shirandula. The two actors left the show years ago to focus on other hustles.

Comedian Jalang’o is one who enjoys flashy expensive things. He not only drives a fancy car but expensive outfits and shoes which complete his look.

Just a few hours he shared a new video flaunting the many pairs of shoes he owns. From his caption, the comedian cum radio presenter was trying to choose at least one pair he could wear as he stepped out but since he was spoilt for choice his fans had to step in to help.

Looking at most of the shoes he was parading seems that he only steps out in designer shoes i.e Jordan’s, timberland’s and many more which are about Ksh 10,000 and above.

Well, just looking at the many gigs and deals Jalang’o has been landing since he became famous…there is no doubt that can afford to pay for his fancy shoes.

Moral police Ezekiel Mutua has vowed to ban Sauti Sol’s new song. The group however has no regret about dropping a lewd music video.

Kenya Film Classification Board CEO termed ‘Melanin’ as an absolutely pornography video. Mutua expressed his deep disappointment with Sauti Sol for dropping the offensive song.

He’s not the target audience

Sauti Sol knew they would clash with Ezekiel Mutua even before they dropped ‘Melanin’. The quartet confirmed this while speaking on Hot 96 a day before they released their controversial song.

Jalango asked the group if they thought their video would be played on TV. He told them that the photos they were posting on social media were not Ezekiel Mutua friendly.

“The photos that you people have been posting are not Ezekiel Mutua friendly. So you think it (‘Melanin’) might not be played in our local TVs?” Jalango asked.

Bien-Aimé Baraza replied and told Jalas not to be scared. He says Ezekiel Mutua is not their target audience and assured him ‘Melanin’ would piss him off.

“Even the video is not Ezekiel Mutua friendly. I mean he’s not the target audience. We are pushing the boundary, we are entertaining. We are entertainers that’s what we do you know. Wee (Jalango) usiogope. Unatujua sisi Sauti Sol ni watu wa vitu kali sisi,” said Bien.

Jalango’s Solomonic wisdom saves him from baby mama extortion

Jalango could have been coughing up crazy amount of money in child support but lucky he made a conscious decision that saved him.

Most people know Jalango’s sole baby mama Cheptoek Boyo. Apparently the Hot 96 presenter has another ‘baby mama’ who was extorting him.

For starters, Jalango sired a beautiful daughter with Cheptoek Boyo. The comedian is however not in a relationship with Boyo even though they are co-parenting.

Jalango was caught up in a drama with ex girlfriend who claims he fathered her son. The comedian opened up about the ‘new baby mama’ while speaking during his show on Hot 96.

Jalas admits he dated the women over a decade ago when he was still broke and ashy. He says that lady dumped him when she realized that she was just another loser.

“When she came visiting me in Mwiki she realized that it isn’t all glitter and glam. She visited me twice in my place and after visiting me the second time she was like this is not the life she expected so she broke it off and got into another relationship,” Jalango narrates.

She wants me back

Jalas says the lady contacted him when he landed his first radio job at Kiss FM. The gold-digger wanted him to take her back because she realized Jalango had become a celebrity.

The lady also made up story to win Jalas’ love. She claimed she had been pregnant when they broke up and that the child was Jalango’s.

“One day she called me and told me there is something she wanted to tell me, at that time I was at Kiss, everybody knew Jalang’o. She wanted to come back because things were picking up for me. She later told me had been pregnant, had a baby and the child was mine,” says Jalango.

No DNA test no child support

Jalango played ball because he feared the lady could ruin his career if she started a scandal. The Hot 96 presenter however overcame his fear recently and demanded DNA test before he could dish out cash to the lady.

Jalango reveals he has never seen the boy his ex said he fathered. He further says celebrity go through a lot but they apprehensive about speaking up for fear of tainting their brand.

“I was always trying to protect my brand. Nobody could know about this. I have never seen that child up to today and the kid is about 9 to 10 years. It’s a hard situation being in the limelight, some people don’t understand what we go through.

“My main reason to come out is for her to know I’ve opened up about this story. No more money until the DNA test is done,” says Jalango.

Akothee hosted Jalang’o at her palatial home in Mombasa over the past weekend. The comedian had traveled to the Coast for business engagement.

Akothee has at least two lavish homes in Kenya and one in Switzerland. The singer usually stays in Mombasa when she’s in Kenya even though she has another huge mansion in Rongo, Migori county.

Jalang’o was recently hosted by the rich songbird at her beach house in Mombasa. The Hot 96 presenter traveled to Mombasa to headline a white party.

Jalang’o says Akothee threatened to skin him alive if he booked a hotel. The comedian reveals that Akothee told him to stay at her place for the duration of his visit to Mombasa.

Jalang’os baby mama sets the record straight about her relationship with the comedian

Comedian cum media personality Jalang’o is among the renown entertainers we have in the country but unlike many, he likes to keep his private life off social media.

So far we know he has an adorable daughter with his ex Cheptoek Boyoare but we have never really understood the nature of their relationship. Many assume that the two are married while others see their relationship as the on and off type but this is not true.

Just recently his baby mama Cheptoek Boyoare came out to reveal the nature of their relationship in a lengthy post shared on her gram. Judging from what she wrote, these two are just friends and ex lovers who are just coparenting since they have a child together. She wrote saying;

“An assumption is just that if there is no clarification made. That’s why I would like to address a few issues concerning my relationship with Phelix. As many may not know, we are no longer together as a couple. We broke up over two years ago and for the respect of his wife and family, I would like to set the record straight. Yes, I am single and he is happily married. We are still good friends and co-parenting has never been better.”

The lady is said to have addressed this issue through her social media to stop the many assumptions and rumors claiming that she is involved with the comedian who she also revealed is now married.

Felix Odiwour popularly known as Jalango has decided to drop his bid for Siaya gubernatorial seat 2022 after Luo elders warned him against it.

Jalango was eyeing the Siaya seat but was informed that Raila’s possible successor in Luoland – James Orengo could be vying for the same seat in 2022.

For starters, Orengo is the only politician who won his seat without a single poster, billboard or t-shirt; as a matter of facts his photos were only seen in billboards in Kisumu County endorsing Anyang’ Nyong’o for Kisumu governor. Orengo won Siaya senatorial seat with 372,615 votes (98.35%) with his only rival garnering 6,236 votes (1.65%).

“After soul searching and consultations and sitting people…na kukaa na wazee pale nyumbani tukikula kuku na kukunywa chang’aa, tukaongea pamoja nikaskia wazee wakiongea wakaniambia; ‘the dream is big but too huge’ because apparently Orengo Ajimmy (James Orengo) might be coming back after 5 years as Siaya governor. Who wants to compete with someone that does not even make a poster, does not even make a t-shirt, does not have a billboard?” Jalango said during his show on Hot 96 FM.

The Hot 96 presenter has now set his eyes on Langata constituency where Jubilee’s Nixon Korir won with 41,086 votes against ODM’s Oscar Omoke who managed 39, 593 votes, a difference of 1,493 votes.

Whilst the MP seat was won by Jubilee, majority of the presidential votes in Langata went to Raila Odinga. The Nasa flag bearer served as MP for the larger Langata constituency for 20 years. The constituency was split into two, Kibra and Langata.

“So I have decided to bring the dream back here in Nairobi, back to 047….not head to head with Sonko because Sonko is my guy…that’s suicidal, ask Kidero he can tell you. I want to come back and take Langata…MP Langata. ODM has never lost in Langata for over three decades…I want to go back and bring the pride of Baba in Langata,” Jalango said.

A wise person once said that a man should take pride in what he builds but remember, family is the only wealth and radio presenter cum Jalang’o seems to understand this pretty well.

In a new photo shared by the popular media personality, Jalang’o revealed that he is now building a house in his village where he recently visited after his surgery.

He seen digging the foundation and from his caption, there is no doubt that the fella is excited to finally a house which he will soon call home. He captioned the photo;

Mwanaume ni nyumba…so today I begin this beautiful project…

Jalang’o: I peed on my neighbor’s clothes through the balcony

Jalang’o has opened up about the weird thing he did in his drunken stupor. The Hot 96 presenter confessed that circumstance forced him to pee on his neighbor’s clothes.

A house party at Jalango’s crib ended with his neighbor’s clothes being urinated on. The comedian owned up to his evil deed in an interview with local magazine.

Jalango revealed that he hosted the bash at his house to celebrate a contract he had just landed. But on that fateful day he got drunk silly that when he found the toilet’s door locked he ended up peeing through the balcony.

The Hot 96 presenter further revealed that his urine landed on the neighbor’s clothes hanging on the cloth line below the balcony he was peeing from.

“I had just landed a big contract and I was so excited as it was one of the biggest investment bids I had ever received a nod on. Feeling rather happy, I decided to celebrate with a couple of my friends by throwing a bash. I must admit, I really drained a bit too much.

“At some point, I needed to use the washroom but upon knocking, someone was already using the services and was taking too long to finish his business. I was too pressed and could hardly hold back so I decided to go out to the balcony where I could do my thing without anyone noticing.

“It was only after I had gone halfway my business that I realised I was peeing on the neighbour’s clothes on the hanging line and someone was right there, wondering how I could make such a huge mess. The rest is history,” Jalango narrated about his most embarrassing moments.

 

 

“Jalang’o kama hungetoka homabay I would have married you” Singer Akothee’s confession leaves asking questions

It is no secret that Akothee and Jalang’o are really close. They not only support each other through their social media pages but also attend each other’s gigs among other things.

Anyway, a way from that…just recently Akothee poured out her heart to Jalango and though it was on a light note – many have started asking questions on the type of relationship the two have.

Well, Akothee at some point went on to confess that she would have married Jalang’o in the past but after moving out of Homabay, things became hard. She wrote saying;

Jalango is not new in the entertainment industry since he has been here for quite some years. After his comedy career picked up, other doors started opening up for the fella who has now become one of the best radio presenter’s in Kenya.

He however revealed something shocking recently when speaking to Pulse. Apparently he was once caught pants down taking a pee over his balcony but what he didn’t know is that he was wetting his neighbors clothes.

Well this happened after he invited a few friends to come celebrate with him after landing a big contract which was one of the biggest investment bids he had ever received. Anyway his celebrations turned into an embarrassing moment when he decided to release himself at his balcony since his bathroom had another user and having been extremely pressed…he opted for the easy way out.

Thinking that he would get away with the it, he realized that his neighbor had been there all a long and had witnessed the comedian pee on his clothes. Well, their relationship obviously changed and this remains as the biggest embarrassing moment in his life.
