Did Githeri man lose his S8 worth 100k while drunk? (Photos)

Seems that the githeri man is now receiving negative public after a certain person shared a photo which he claims was recently taken after Martin Kamotho passed out at a ditch before he was robbed his S8 which he was gifted by Safaricom.

From the caption, David Garby wrote to say that’s Githeri man for you..drunk like stupid S8 phone stolen which he shared on his Facebook page.

The post went viral as Kenyans on social media tried to find out whether this was true. However, through his official Instagram page the Githeri man brushed off the baseless claim by writing to say;

“Tukubaliane. Hakuna vile naweza waangusha chini kama wakenya. Hiyo risto ya kulewa na kupoteza simu sio ukweli. Simu zote ziko hapa. Yule anaeneza uvumi sijui ako na niya gani. Nazidi kuwashukuru wakenya wote. Simu ndio hii. Na yuke anasema nililewa nikaporwa nimekusamehe”

Jalango is not new in the entertainment industry since he has been here for quite some years. After his comedy career picked up, other doors started opening up for the fella who has now become one of the best radio presenter’s in Kenya.

He however revealed something shocking recently when speaking to Pulse. Apparently he was once caught pants down taking a pee over his balcony but what he didn’t know is that he was wetting his neighbors clothes.

Well this happened after he invited a few friends to come celebrate with him after landing a big contract which was one of the biggest investment bids he had ever received. Anyway his celebrations turned into an embarrassing moment when he decided to release himself at his balcony since his bathroom had another user and having been extremely pressed…he opted for the easy way out.

Thinking that he would get away with the it, he realized that his neighbor had been there all a long and had witnessed the comedian pee on his clothes. Well, their relationship obviously changed and this remains as the biggest embarrassing moment in his life.

So far we understand that most celebrities from Tanzania have been accused of using drugs and after the likes of Wema Sepetu, TID, Agnes Masogange were arraigned in court – it was clear to see that this was a big issue in Bongo.

He is said to be in police custody after he was caught with Heroin in Ilala where he was chilling with 6 of his friends. This comes as a big surprise as many had reformed.

However, the young man is in deep in the drugs and might not quit anytime soon but since he will be in jail for a long time – he might as well as get used to going without the hard drugs.

News anchor and popular lady, Lilian Muli only has one child from her previous marriage and judging from her son’s age, seems that she might be planning to create a 10 year-age-gap between her kids or maybe she is not even planning to have a second born.

Just recently after sharing an adorable photo to flaunt her son, fans flocked her Instagram page asking whether she was planning to have a baby anytime soon as time was no longer on her side.

Businesswoman Zari Hassan has lately been a low profile on her social media, unlike before. Well, this is because her big boys are currently on holiday and just like any other mother, she has been spending a lot of time with her babies now that they only have one parent to depend on.

But despite keeping quite and minding her business, social media users will always find a way to irritate her. Surprisingly this time around Zari Hassan did not keep quite as she went ahead to bash Instagram Idlers who are spreading rumors about her youngest son, Nillan Dangote.

Apparently many have been claiming that Nillan is Ivan Ssemwanga’s son since they both have striking resemblance especially around the mouth area and their chubby cheeks.

However, Zari has brushed off these rumors through her social media pages where she came out strong saying Nillan is a 5 star baby and people should think twice before messing with him. She wrote saying;

Dance with the angels! 6 month old baby, Samantha Pendo dies while receiving treatment at Aga khan hospital

6 month old Baby Pendo was pronounced dead yesterday – a few days after battling for her life at the Aga Khan hospital where she had been admitted at the ICU.

Samantha, an innocent child who was probably learning how to crawl faced the wrath of a post elections violence that claimed her life after a few characters decided to riot in kisumu to protest the presidential results released by the IEBC.

From the reports making rounds on social media, Baby Samantha Pendo suffered head injuries which she received from a police officer who allegedly hit her and her parents in Nyalenda slum where the police were trying to stop the riots.

Her death has left many blaming the kisumu rioters and at the same time disappointed by the police for having used extreme force to deal with the protesters.

Lately Jalang’o has been writing many letter dedicated to President Uhuru Kenyatta, Raila Odinga and his latest was directed to Githeri man where he urged him to take charge of the opportunities that have been presented to him since his unique photo went viral.

Despite the long post receiving different reactions from fans, many agreed with what he wrote as they have all seen how forgetful Kenyans are.

In the letter shared on his Instagram page, Jalang’o wrote saying;

First let me thank you for bringing the much needed humour when the tensions were at 102 degrees and rising , I would log in the IEBC portal to see how my preffered candidates were fairing on and I would be sad or happy but seeing your photos with Trump,Obama,Kanye and many more whom you were photoshopped with I smiled and laughed!

Sanaipei Tande is not happy with one local daily that recently took shots at her tummy. Judging from the caption used to describe Sanaipei’s tummy on the newspaper- it is easy to see that the writer’s aim was to troll the singer for having a ‘big’ stomach which paraded during a recent gig.

However, Sanaipei Tande has come out to address this issue since it seems that people are crossing boundaries. Through her twitter handle, the singer was not ashamed to admit that she had no problem with her body and did not understand why people would focus on such petty issues just to make news.

She wrote saying

Githeri man aka Martin Kamotho is not only popular in Kenya but around East Africa. His photo has brought life on the internet and unlike what many thought the fella has actually made quite a fortune thanks to the simple photo.

Well apart from the likes of Eric Omondi and other many Kenyan celebrities – Tanzanian sensation King Kiba has also dropped a photo pulling the Githeri man challenge.

Though I am not sure whether he is holding a transparent paper with popcorns or Githeri. He however managed to pull the over Size blazer and his pose on the photo making rounds on Instagram.

Kiba has always considered Kenya his second home, so it is not shocking to see him pull this stunt.

41 year old Martin Kamotho became an internet sensation after he was photographed eating githeri while queuing on 8th August to vote. The photo of course had to make some rounds on social media as many found it hilarious and a reason to smile despite the tension caused by the elections period.

Well, the fella has benefited from all this fame as his life changed over night. He was gifted a couple of phones by Safaricom, a fully paid vacation with his family to the Maasai Mara and if I am not wrong – he also owns a piece of land in Karen after he gifted by Ngong Crescent.

City Pastor blasts Raila Odinga and NASA members for going against the Bible with their hypocritical ways!

There have been many opinions shared by Kenyans since the elections were announced on Friday night. However, many have chosen to continue with their normal lives as bills have to be paid at the end of the day.

But with the tension building here and there I must admit that most Kenyans are living in fear as no one knows what plans our politicians have.

Yesterday, during their first meeting held after the elections – some of the NASA members encouraged their supporters to Boycott work something that has raised a stir among many.

Popular city pastor who seems to have been angered by the statements made by Raila Odinga and his members. According to pastor Godfrey Mwigi, these politicians sit and dine with each other but when campaigning they end up turning Kenyans against each other something that is hypocritical and against the Bible! Singer Ce’Cile remains as one of the most influential public figures to most youths. She has been a favorite to many and has even worked with Wyre on a project that contributed to her fame in Kenya.

Well, apart from that – I bet we all know that most young people enjoy reggae and being an artist who has perfected her art in this music sector, Ce’Cile clearly has a unique way of reaching out to the youth.

She has now joined the list of foreign musicians preaching peace to Kenyans who held their elections about 6 days ago.

Stop killing! Octopizzo urges the police after visiting Kibera slums

After the IEBC declared president Uhuru Kenyatta as the winner of the 2017 general elections – there were those who celebrated and of course those who were disappointed by the results.

For this reason most Youths supporting NASA came out on Saturday to demonstrate as they were not satisfied by the results. However, their demonstrations were not peaceful as some were caught on camera destroying public property forcing the police to meet them with the ‘same force’.

However, judging from what the mainstream media reported some of the policemen allegedly used live bullets killing a few people – forcing the likes of rapper Octopizzo to come out and speak about the issue.

The rapper who grew up in Kibera made a point of visiting this place to speak to the Youths on the importance of demonstrating peacefully in order to avoid a repeat of 2007/2008.

Later on, he shared a tweet through his twitter handle saying;

They say that if you can’t beat them, join them but in this case I bet they were not talking about Raila and his army.

After president Uhuru Kenyatta was declared winner on Friday night by the IEBC chairman…NASA supporters could not hide their anger and disappointment which forced them to protest.

However, things did not go as planned as the NASA supporters from both Kisumu, Mathare and Kibera areas engaged with the police which later led to some few deaths here and there.

But since no one wants a repeat of 2007/2008 comedian Jalango through his social media wrote the following message dedicate to #Baba urging him to speak with his army in order to maintain peace. He said;

Dear Raila Baba!
My love for you is immeasurable and I have never hidden it even when I am supposed to and this will not change ,I will always love you. You are the only leader who I know who goes to any part of this country and gets welcomed without a second thought. You are King! You are an Enigma! More than 6million wanted you to be their president! You cant be ignored! I’ll talk about my love for you in another letter someday but today I want your attention! Dennis Okari responds to allegations made by his ex wife about him not being part of their child’s life

After Betty Kyallo opened up about what really went on between her and Dennis Okari – we now understand that the two got married to maintain the ‘perfect couple’ image which later turned sour forcing them to split.

Their breakup was however not bitter as they did not yup about it on their social media pages for almost a year until just recently when Betty Kyallo opened up about her life on True Love magazine.

Well…at some point Betty revealed that Dennis Okari has not been in their daughter’s life (Ivanna) for a while nor has he made any effort to visit her. Betty said;

“I was comfortable with him being part of our daughter’s life but he decided otherwise and I’m perfectly fine with it. I respect his decision.”

After this Mpasho has reported that they contacted Denis Okari for a comment but things did not go as they had planned. Apparently Dennis Okari told off them by saying;

“I do not owe you or anyone else an explanation about anything!”

So does this mean that there is more that we don’t know? Could be!

KISS FM popular radio presenter denies insulting Raila Odinga and inciting tribal violence

With tension rising a few days after Kenyans came out to elect their new president, there have been a few people trying to incite others through their social media pages but so far this is being contained by those who understand the importance of maintaining peace in the country.

One popular radio presenter Linda Nyagweso has come out to distance herself from a Facebook account spreading hate speech towards Raila Odinga.

The lady who is known for her sultry voice and American accent has warned those using the Facebook page (which has both her names and picture) and at the same time apologized to the public who might have been affected by the message posted by the fraud pretending to be her.

Looking at the comments from her followers and fellow colleagues, it is easy to tell they were all disappointed to learn that some Kenyans have not yet learnt from the chaos that was caused by such words in 2007/2008.

Their is no doubt that KTN news anchor Betty Kyallo is among the top celebrated female anchors that have managed to win the hearts of many Kenyans.

However, not many know some of the struggles they go through. Well, Betty Kyallo has decided to open up about one of the advices she was given by friends to make her voice sound ‘better’ when reading news.

Speaking to the Standard Insight, Betty confessed to say;

“I was told that whisky would make my voice husky and that smoking would make it deeper. But of course these were never an option for me.”

She went on to add that a former colleague James karani once advised that she should try taking some Yoghurt for her voice, but according to Betty Kyallo it did not work out as she expected.

“James Karani (former KTN anchor) convinced me to take yoghurt before going on air to make my voice softer. I do not know if he was being serious or playful because I ended with my mouth being full of saliva. I had to pause and swallow in between sentences while reading news,”

But since her break up with her ex husband Dennis Okari, Betty says that she has learnt that she cannot keep letting everyone tell her what to do. For once she can say no and live her life without trying to impress anyone.

“When I was going through a rough patch, I made a conscious decision not to let what other people said or thought get to me. We all have the freedom to live as we want and make mistakes. I will not let other people’s expectations of me dictate my life,”

According to her…for now she will continue living a normal life that will not be affected by her status in the media industry. She concluded by saying;

“Most people do not realise that there is the career aspect of Betty and a private life. At the end of the day, people forget that I am human and supposed to live my own life. I am not special, it is just that my output is seen on a public platform. I go through the same things other people go through.”

“We will give Ndeti a job if she is interested” says Alfred Mutua

The 2017 general elections in Kenya have not been easy. There are those who lost and conceded defeat but also some like Wavinya Ndenti who are still not contended with the results released by the IEBC.

As announced, the race for the Machakos gubernatorial seat was won by governor Alfred Mutua and it appears that he has already started to celebrate his victory.

For him, the people of Machakos believed in his work and for this reason they decided to elect him back despite Kalonzo’s endorsing Wavinya for the race, aiming to remove him from power since he is afraid of what many happen in 2022 now that Alfred Mutuma has presidential ambitions.

Speaking during an interview Mutuma;

“This victory is special because this competition was not between me and honorable Wavinya Ndeti. Rather, it was between me and Mheshimiwa Kalonzo Musyoka,”

He went on to add;

“Mheshimiwa Kalonzo Musyoka put together all his arsenal and it was not about Wavinya Ndeti; it was about removing Mutua because Mutua was changing the way politics is run in this region of Ukambani that has suffered for many years.”

In conclusion the Governor of Machakos county said;

“We will give Ndeti a job if she is interested. Sina roho ya chuki, nina mapenzi tu katika roho yangu (There is no hate in my heart…there is only love),”
