Kenyan top female nominated for the best female afrobeat award in Sweden

Rehema A. Mollan aka Naiga is currently flying high thanks to her music. So far she has made a name for herself in Kenya and also in Norway where she is currently based.

 

Despite her busy schedule of being a full time mum to her two boys; Naiga has managed to set some time on the side to focus on her music. So far she has been able to perform in Egypt where she visited early this year.

Successful projects

Among her top projects is Do it which she recently dropped. Thanks to her vocals and creativity; Naiga has been nominated  for the best female afrobeat award taking place in Stockholm Sweden on 4th may. 

Apart from her latest video Do it, Naiga has revealed that she has two more  songs to be released soon.

Word making rounds on social media is that Zari the boss lady has been dating her ex husband close friend, Muyanja.

Apparently he is her current lover and for personal reasons the couple has been keeping their affair on the low.

Well, most women often change their body sizes after giving birth and Betty Kyallo happenes to be one.

Now that her daughter is all grown, the K24 anchor might have decided to join the gym. Thanks tonthe photos shared by her gym partner, it is clear to see that Miss Kyallo has added a few photos here and there but still looks amazing.

Mother of 5 Akothee has been trending on social media for days now following her raunchy photo taken a while back in Malindi.

According to reports, the photo apparently revealed her private parts; something that angered most social media users.

Anyway, this did not bother the singer who was ready for all the critics. Akothee went on to tell off those calling her out for her ‘nudity’ saying that she did not ask anyone to follow her page.

In a new video shared on her Instagram page; Akothee reveals that she is a smoker and is seen holding a cigarette which she puffs as she enjoys her drink.

The singer goes on to say that no one is allowed to judge her lifestyle as she also warns those fans who claim she is a role model. Clearly, she is not interested in being a social media influencer in any way; she also warns those who follow her to do it at their own risk.

DK Kwenye Beat might be keeping a low profile and for this reason he now has opted to deleting his Instagram photos.

This comes weeks after he was linked to a sex scandal that saw his name get tarnished on social media. According to reports, the gospel singer apparently affected a 20 year old video vixen with herpes.

The singer at first denied the allegations until an audio of him bragging about being with the young girl leaked online.

After going missing in action for weeks, the singer has now deleted all his Instagram photos.

We are not sure why he thought of making this move; but judging from the comments he was receiving…one can assume that this could be the reason.

Anyway, we are hoping from seeing whether he will be back to making music soon.

Rebecca Soki exits from Bahati’s recording label EMB!

Bahati’s recording label seems to be facing a number of issues judging from the number of artists who have called it quits!

First, Weezdom walked away without saying anything only to learn that he was allegedly forced out by Bahati’s wife; then came Mr Seed who also had beef with the Bahati’s for trying to get his wife arrested.

In less than a week, David wonder also packed and left saying that he had decided to work on his projects alone.

Anyway, word now has it that Rebecca Soki had also called it quits after some misunderstandings. Speaking with YMashariki presenter Ken Relbis; Rebecca’s manager, Papa Obong opened up saying;

Rebecca Soki left EMB as there was a misunderstanding between her and the label. She is now working on her own projects and hasn’t been to EMB records for the last four months. Rebecca felt played when she learnt that her song ‘Baraka Zangu’ was sampled from abroad and that really turned her off because she is very God-fearing and felt that using someone else’s beat is stealing. It was a huge turn off for her and in addition, there was a battle in the label as someone else claimed that the song was originally theirs,

The couple who have been together for years now; despite their on and off relationship seem to have settled down after the arrival of their daughter, Dua.

Tanzanian sweetheart Wema Sepetu’s new body is goals! The former model has been shading off her weight at a high speed – living many questioning what she could be using.

Before the weight loss, Wema Sepetu has been struggling for years to shed off weight but it all seemed impossible.

However after losing her pregnancy back in 2017; the lady started seeking medical help which led to her current state. Speaking about the secret to her new body, Wema Sepetu opened up saying;

 

“Sijawahi kukataa utumbo wangu kama watu wanavyosema, kwenda kwangu India ilikuwa ni kwa ajili ya matibabu ya tumbo langu. Alafu coming back ma daktari walinimbia kuwa I neeed to lose some weight, coz sometime kizazi kinakuwa kinasaraundiwa na a lot fats, whivch makes it impposible kushika mimba. Having lost so much weight, Sepetu now says that she feels more lighter and happier. She went on to add;

Wema is however still very hopeful that she will one day have a child of her own. From her interview, the former model revealed that doctors advised her to shed off weight in order to make it easy for her to conceive. She said,

I’m not gone give up , nilikuwa nimesema kuwa 30 nitagive up lakini kibaya nikuwa my love for kids is too much bana, so hata nikifika 35 freshy tu. For the time being am single but ikifika ule umri wa lazima kama sina mtu kuna Njia zingine za kupata watoto.

Bamboo who is popularly known for his usilete compe hit song released back in 2008 is now a married man.

For years now the rapper has been keeping a low profile when it comes to his private life; and word has it that he even got saved after temporary relocating to Tanzania.

Anyway, having found the perfect lady to settle down with; the rapper together with his family made sure his wedding was kept on the low.

Njugush reveals why he did not propose to his wife

Njugush has never been shy about his life before the fame and money. He talks about the struggles he faced but grateful since all that time his girlfriend now wife Celestine aka Wakavinye was by his side.

The two had long been dating and partly living together since Celestine was still in colleague. Despite Njugush’s struggling lifestyle the lady chose to stick by him and she now reaps the fruits of success in the entertainment industry.

This past weekend she went all out to share new photos from her getaway with her new man. Judging from the few photos and video clip she uploaded, we now believe that she is dating a Caucasian man.

Customers at a city restaurant were left to ogle and in shock as they watched drama unfold with a young couple supposedly on a valentine’s date.

The drama that left activity in the restaurant on a standstill for a couple of minutes began when the gentleman sat down opposite his girlfriend who it later turned out had been waiting for him for a while.

The gentleman in a video shot by someone in the restaurant and that has since gone viral is seen trying to calm his lady friend down as he apologizes profusely for his lateness to the date on one of the most celebrated days of the year.

The young lady who seems is visibly spruced up for her Valentine’s date will have none of it and goes ahead to give her date an earful in full view and hearing range of other customers in the restaurant.

The lady’s greatest displeasure it seems is the duration of time it took to wait for her date and she goes ahead to let him know that a lot of other gentlemen would have loved to take her out on that all important day.

The gentleman tries to get some words of apology in but his date cuts him off with more complains that he should not have made her wait that long especially because she was very hungry.

With words having failed to convince his date to calm down, the gentleman makes his final attempt at dragging the date to a favorable side by offering his lady a bouquet of roses which seems to have touched her very last nerve.

She grabs the flowers from her date and tosses them on the floor much to the sighs of shock and giggles of other customers in the restaurant. She goes ahead to stamp her feet on the flowers and storms off leaving her date in shock and short of words.

The date would no doubt be a memorable one for the ‘love birds’, just not for the expected reasons for a valentine’s date.

Catherine Kamau has lately been avoiding flooding her social media pages with photos of her husband and son. Well, she confirmed this just recently during an interview on Radio Jambo.

According to Catherine Kamau, social media has become a place of idling for many people. Some of these people are the ones who will tend to leave mean comments under her photos.

During the interview she went on to speak about some of the harsh comments she has come across. Apparently some of her ‘fans’ think she is trying to show off now that she is married; after years of being a single mother. Catherine opened up saying;

I don’t understand what the motive is ama ‘you are trying to show off’ and nashangaa because when I post, I post to celebrate someone not to show off. Although she has come into terms with the fact that there will always be trolls on social media; the popular actress says this will not stop her from being affectionate to her man online… however she has reduced the frequency.

‘I’m a single parent’ Betty Kyallo talks about raising her daughter without Dennis Okari’s help

K24’s news anchor Betty Kyallo has revealed that her baby daddy Dennis Okari is not part of their daughter’s life. Apparently the young mum has been raising her daughter single handedly and from the look of things; she doesn’t mind this.

Betty Kyallo revealed this during a question and answer session on her Instagram page. This is however not the first time the lady is revealing that her baby daddy is absent in his daughter’s life.

What is more surprising is that apparently Dennis Okari refuses to see his own child. This comes after Betty Kyallo and Okari’s bitter breakup that saw them split just a few months after their glamorous wedding.

According to reports the two no longer see eye to eye – something that has now forced Betty Kyallo to raise her baby girl on her own.

Well after taking their time; they are back with a new hit dubbed Kuku Mfalme. This song talks about a girl trying to protect her girlfriend from a guy she falls in love with.

Nyamuta Estellah have proven that language is not be a barrier when it comes to music – she has dropped songs in her vernacular as well as English and Swahili and guess what… fans are loving it.

Estellah made waves last year when she dropped her hit song ‘Tindi Pipo’, a song that reminds the Kisii community to uphold their moral values.

The song earned her much needed fame within her ethnic community, she has another single titled ‘Nitarejea’, which was produced by Grandpa Records.

Her style of music is unique, blending vernacular music and urban pop music has earned Estellah a diverse audience which she hopes to capitalize on in order to catapult her music to new heights.

Estellah has managed to make major strides in music as she also focuses on her study, she an undergraduate student at Moi University’s Nairobi campus pursuing PR and communication.

Her aspiration is to work with rapper Timmy Tdat for a major collaboration, she loves the rapper’s zeal and she is convinced that if she works with him the result of their collabo will be magical.
