Betty Kyallo said she is on a one-year break when it comes to dating. She has done too much chasing in relationships and it is time she made herself a priority first.

The media girl started with her relationship-turned marriage to NTV journalist, Dennis Okari which bore them a daughter, Ivanna before they eventually part ways as a couple.

Thereafter, she went for an alleged Somali bae who till date, we have zero details about his name, let alone his face or even how tall or short he might be.

Either way, we no longer have the privilege to meet this special person who stole Betty´s heart.

This is because she just confessed she is officially single but ready for marriage in a few.

Speaking to fellow media firebrand, Jalang´o, he posed:

Talking about enjoying, who is enjoying… Who is your boyfriend? You are too beautiful to be single.

To which she openly responded:

No one is enjoying it. I´m so single right now and I love it.

According to the celebrated Kenyan journalist, she has been known to hop from one relationship to the next but she has said ´no´ to that.

I used to be that girl mwenye natoka hii naingia ingine yaani zinainterchange. So, right now I´ve actually decided ´you know what B, kwanza jipende´. So I have decided I want to give myself at least one year before I enter into something. Because I think I´m ready to settle down.

Regards what happened to her Somali babe who had turned the Internet wild with fans trying to patch together an arm here, a leg there and some curly hair but to no success.

Well, it turns out that yes he was there, but things didn´t go as planned so she had to say goodbye and they mutually agreed that it had hit a dead end.

She asked society to stop the common stigmatization that relationships need to follow a certain sequence and that everything should be perfect. In reality, it is not always a smooth sail through.

It didn´t work out. The thing is, things don´t work out sometimes with people and its okay, its fine. If anything, she feels really proud that they eventually matured, settled their differences and it is now working out, especially for Ivanna.

I realized it´s not always about us as adults. We are in good terms with him, his family, his wife and everything. But right now we are making sure Ivanna gets the love that she deserves. You know how dad-daughter relationships are. I feel good Ivanna has the attention she needs. Dennis is doing an amazing job and I feel so good. I thank God.

Sheila Mwanyigha back in the day was the real deal. The hottest female in the music scene and also on TV.

For those who can remember well, back when Sheila was a presenter she kept many glued on their TV screens as she hosted the breakfast show alongside Kobi Kihara.

However this just recent but word making rounds on social media is that the lady has been turning heads from way back; and after 12 years since we last saw her last project, Mwanyigha might be making plans for a come back as seen on her social media pages.

She recently shared a few posters which have left fans assuming they are meant for her upcoming project. As much as withheld from sharing details concerning the posts; the caption was enough to tell that she may be planning a come back.

Tanzanian musician, Queen Darleen has declared that she will not allow any other woman to come in between her marriage and tycoon, Isihaka Mtoro.

The first lady at WCB wedded her longtime boyfriend in a private event in December 2019, making her the second wife of the businesswoman.

She laid to rest reports of her accepting to get married as a second wife after stating that the Islamic religion allows a man up to 4 wives, something her dad, Mzee Abdul Juma reiterated.

This came as unconfirmed reports after the now-popular face on our TV screens, Mr Kagwe saw individuals dig into his personal and family life.

Born Kahu Mburu Mutahi, the rapper is not new in the artistic industry having produced a couple of hits and known for his talent in the hip hop music genre.

Stage name, Kahush has finally admitted that he is indeed the son to the Health CS during his recent interview with NRG radio.

Away from his music, Kahush is actually an IT student in Leicester, UK having developed a system that senses motion and manages light in a room.

Popular radio presenter lands in trouble after attacking LGBT community

Everyone is free to express their opinion – what they think or feel about something, at least in Kenya. However, it becomes an abuse when you cross boundaries around sensitive topics like race, gender, sexuality, religion…just to mention a few.

The introduction or open revelation of the LGBT community globally received both criticism and love in equal measure from around the globe.

Stemming from cultural values to religious beliefs to one´s origin and tradition that have a different perspective of the new sexuality.

However, in as much as governments, community elders, religious leaders and opinion shapers have drawn the line when it comes to acceptance of the LGBT community, it is not something you publicly condemn.

Case in point

Kenyan renowned radio presenter, Nick Odhiambo is having it rough from netizens over his harsh comments regards the new sexual orientation.

It was something as simple as a statement about retired American basketball professional, Magic Johnson´s son who is gay, stating that he would disown his own son, were he to come home dressed like a lady.

According to him, there was nothing as painful as a parent who duly inculcated certain values, beliefs and practices in their child only to later see them trash it all away.

It just did not add up for him!

Reactions

Hardly did he know that his comment hard hit hard among his Insta family, some in support, others brutally condemning him for being insensitive.

Fans did not understand just how the Radio Maisha presenter had the audacity to fire back at the new sexuality group with zero apologies to make.

Plus, fans felt he needed to accept his child as he is because well, they tried their best and if that is the space his child feels best to be in, then let him be.

Kenyan media personality Ciku Muiruri articulated that if her daughter were to decide to become a man tomorrow, she would wholly accept her.

If @madame_gachoka decided to become a man tomorrow I’d love her the same. Probably even more, for being brave enough to live her truth. People need to let their kids be. Whether career, spouse choice, orientation or whatever. Let them be. And love them regardless. ????????????

Additionally urging the seasoned radio personality to stop his ignorance, wake up and accept today´s reality as it is because he can just do nothing about it.

The least Nick could have done was just support his son. Simple! but that wasn´t just his kind of vibe, I guess?

Others advised him to be careful what path he treads on and not be quick to judge because in as much as he can throw stones at other people´s children now, he never knows what the future holds for his child.

Talent can sure take you places, make you rub shoulders with world´s top-tier acts, see you receive International recognition and as they say, the rest is history.

Well, getting to the top for some might be easy peasy based on a variety of factors but for others, hard work, resilience, patience and going that extra mile is what counts.

That said, young singer-songwriter from the streets of Nairobi, Kaycyy Pluto born Mark Mbogo, has featured in American rap icon, Lil Wayne´s just released deluxe edition of his album dubbed Funeral.

To make it clear, Lil Wayne´s just released 32-song album features among the world top-ranking music acts the likes of Doja Cat, Lil Uzi Vert, Tory Lanez, Adam Levine, 2 Chainz, Take Off, Big Sean., just to mention a few.

And among these magnates, is 22-year old Kaycyy Pluto who has been accredited as a writer of Lil Wayne´s track Big Worm.

Kaycyy is a Kenyan-born rapper based in Atlanta, Georgia and is known for a couple of hit songs, some featuring big shots like Lil Baby and Lil Keed.

Nonini remembers the late Lady S 13 years after her tragic death! (Video)

Nonini is among the first people who managed to change the music industry. This is due to his hardcore vibe that left him looking like a bad boy back in the early 2000’s.

Back then music was all about entertainment – unlike now when most artist prefer promoting nudity and beef that only lasts on Instagram.

Anyway, just recently Nonini opened up about his music journey while on an interview with Cleaning The Airwaves (CTA) ; where he also happened to share a few words about the late Lady S.

For those who remember Lady S know that this particular lady might have changed the music industry in ways we cannot understand. She was not only gifted in terms of dropping lyrics; but her vibe kept those around her very happy and this is why Nonini still mourns till date.

Lady S came through from Dandora, Rest in peace. She died in a road accident.

According to Nonini, Lady S came with her own flavour; and unlike others who would force vocals’ all Lady S needed to do is talk while on the beat. And this is how she ended up making hit songs back in the day.

Nonini praises Lady S

Although Nonini feels that Lady S left quite soon, he continues to blame her death on the horrible Thika super highway road before it was fixed. According to Nonini, he still gets angry every time he uses that high as it robbed Kenya one of the most talented Femcees from back in the day.

Speaking while on the interview, Nonini said;

When i pass through the Thika superhighway, I really get angry because it took so long for that highway to be made. Because the road was bad. She came with her own flavor. We were singing the way you talk and that’s how we blew up!

“Your actions will come back to haunt you!” Nonini strictly forewarns Gengetone artists (Video)

Kenyan artistes have time and again been cautioned about the kind of content they produce, which must meet the required ethical standards according to the boards that are in-charge of them.

However, many have turned a deaf year and surprisingly, it´s not even the older generation of music artistes that has been condemned for vulgar content, it is the young and upcoming generation.

One would say: this is their time and this is the trend, let them be, they will improve later. But what many have failed to understand is that ´old habits die hard.´

It´s not Kenyans or these boards in-charge of these artistes who will suffer. It is these very same artistes whose future or probably tomorrow will have to bear the consequences.

Endorsements

Kenyan hip hop recording artist, Hubert Mbuku Nakitare popularly known as Nonini, gave an example of his journey in music, that not only proved tough but a lesson he will live to remember.

Up and close on Clearing the Airwaves, the Genge music artist recalled how he would release hit after another, gaining popularity both locally and globally, but not even one corporate approached him for an endorsement deal.

We all know the ´bigger´ an artist is, the better the offer on the table. Let´s even forget about the size of offer made, Nonini got nothing! Zero!

Why? Because the kind of content he had in his popular hits, had something vulgar and no one wanted to associate their product with such kind of ´immoral´ standards.

Kina Nameless walikuwa wanapata ma-endorsements, kina Redsan, kina Ogopa, guys were doing shows for Redbull, Trust condom, watu wanawekwa kwa ma billboards. Although I had hits, biggest hits in this country, I never got any endorsement, nothing. Because the people who were seating in the board rooms back then walikuwa wanasema zii, huyu jamaa ni controversial hatuwezi muweka kwa any of our brands.

Ethics

Only for him to realize way later, like so many years later, what caused him the loss of such major opportunities.

The founder of Genge eventually got his endorsement, but it was just one and that was just 2 years ago – 2018. Having lost so much time but I guess that´s how we learn.

The first corporate money I ever got big-time was from Safaricom just the other day when I became their Brand Ambassador last year but one (2018). That´s the first corporate endorsement Nonini has ever gotten so unaweza imagine what I have gone through in my career.

A story he gave, not because he is any proud of it. But just to spare youngins in this lucrative and easily gullible industry, that using vulgar content to sell themselves while disregarding what the boards are telling them, will eventually cost them. BIG!

And that is just what he doesn´t want the likes of Gengetone artists of today to go through, because they can learn now and not tomorrow.

How rogue tailor turned Abel Mutua into a waiter on his wedding day (Video)

The last thing you want is to look forward to that day you will tie the knot, the day you will walk the isle or see your better half walk the isle, only for things to go haywire.

Whether it is your cake well baked and designed to your taste, whether it is the bridal gown or the groom´s suit, whether it is your event organizers taking care of every little detail.

Everything just needs to be perfect for you to enjoy your day!

However, many have fallen into the traps of con-artists out to squeeze money from you for either lower quality product or for nothing in return.

Now Kenyan production mogul and actor, Abel Mutua faced a similar scenario for his young wedding.

Rogue tailor

Through his YouTube channel Young & Stupid Ep8, the former Tahidi high actor recalled how we sought designer services from La Giacca, a brand with an Italian name meaning ´The Jacket´.

His first contact with the tailor gave him an impressive perception of the brand and he did not doubt one bit!

He told me that the lapel fabric on my blazer would be imported and the whole outfit would only cost KSh 60,000. I thought the price was fair because at a high-end shop, it would have cost KSh 300,000 and above.

Up-front, Abel paid the amount in full because of how much trusted the tailor.

His measurements were taken with a clean fit of the trends of that time. 3 weeks down the line and waiting, Abel was still confident with his tailor.

A month later, the tailor called and told him everything was done and even ready for wear but there was one thing he needed to work on, to complete the look.

The suit is ready to wear but there is a small piece of material that I haven´t received, give me one week to complete.

One week lapsed and his friends started growing doubts about the tailor but the young actor calmed them down.

The tailor however requested for another week, yet the actual wedding was just two weeks away.

He brought me another suit which he claimed had the same measurement and any adjustments would then be done on the actual outfit.

The tailor convinced him that in a few, he would bring back the complete suit, with every detail in place.

Turmoil

The TV personality never heard from his tailor until the eve of his wedding. The tailor came with the suit that allegedly was made of imported material but Abel could clearly tell it was locally made.

The tailor asked to go back with suit, to have it dry cleaned and pressed, ready for his big day. Promising to drop the suit by 4am the following morning – his wedding day.

6:30 am, Abel´s alarm went on but on inquiring from his groom team about any parcel that might have been dropped early morning, the response was ´no´.

They rang the tailor´s phone but his phone was not going through. They kept their hopes high and waited for about 7:00 am to call back.

One hour later, phone still not going through. The actor started getting uneasy that he might disappoint his bride but he never told her of the happenings.

9:30, he was getting late to get to church that was set for 10:00 am.

Quickly, the groom and his team agreed on a common theme and then borrowed friends and neighbors something to substitute because time was not on their side.

We went to church and immediately the bride walked in, she was shocked at our outfits. We were dressed in black and white like waiters. She could not tell the groom from the waiter. The wedding started and we proceeded to the reception.

Soon after the newly weds made their vows and already done with the reception, Abel´s phone rang and it was a notification that the tailor´s phone had now been switched on.

It rang again and an unknown caller told him:

Your suit has been dropped off at your apartment.

Abel dressed in the new suit for his reception.

Since then:

I never heard from the tailor ever again. No apology, no remorse. From that day I learnt my lesson the hard way.

Popular Kenyan media personality, Willis Raburu unlocked his past with a throwback photo of himself back when he was just starting in the industry.

Just like for many the start is not usually a walk in the park, it calls for humility, open-mindedness, patience and most of all hard-work to sharpen your skills and eventually prove your abilities.

The Citizen TV presenter´s start was nothing different. However, he was not doing so bad because he afforded a striped suit and a tie, even though that was his only pair.

Raburu shared his journey across all his social media platforms, a time when when tapes were still in the market.

However, this post was not welcomed with open arms from his fans and especially people who knew his background as well as his family status.

There was nothing wrong with his post other than the part where he said that was his only suit.

His comment section had tweeps calling him out for lying about his capacity to own more than one suit.

Reason being, his father had some political background back then and was a quite respected figure in society.

Fans alleged Willis´ dad was a PC – that time, Provisional Commissioner – for several provinces at the time and this was no low status if I recall my History well.

Fans cautioned him to tread carefully because his dad is well known and there is no need to lie about where he comes from.

Others believed he was just taking them for a ride.

This statement has not hit far from home after gospel artiste and TV personality, Holy Dave Muthengi was exposed for being to ´classy´ to tolerate those ´below him´.

A revelation that was made by popular Kenyan journalist, Lilian Muli after reliving memories of her campus days.

Turns out that Holy Dave and Lilian both studied at Daystar for their undergraduate.

However, unlike now, the Citizen TV prime time anchor felt she did not stand the threshold to be counted in the artist´s circle of friends because of one reason: their social class was different.

So, the mother of two shared a throwback photo of herself and other renowned Kenyan journalists, back when they were still starting in the industry, at KTN.

Recalling how tiny she was to the extent that she only wore one suit because that is the only piece of clothing that fitted her at least.

Betty Kyallo takes new stand on marriage after recent meeting with Dennis Okari (Video)

Co-parenting might never have been better between TV couple, Betty Kyallo and Dennis Okari like now.

Just the other day, Ivanna was going out on a date with her dad, one that Betty admitted was a special day for her daughter who got up early, picked her clothes and stuck around waiting for their meet up.

It seems like it did go well, with the dad and daughter having some light moments on camera, relishing the lost moments they were never able to share together.

Through her YouTube channel, Betty gushed over her daughter-baby daddy meet up asking:

Anyway, it was now time for the two parents to have a sit down and iron out a couple of issues, best known to them.

Early Sunday morning, Betty was already out, grinding and trying to put her life together especially regards her business.

On our way to her soon-to-be ´Flair by Betty´ location, Betty quickly combed through her itinerary stating:

So guys, listen, today I have a busy day and I´m hoping to accomplish. Right now am heading to the new Flair by Betty where I am relocating to and find out the progress. After that I have to go to town, Kijabe street because I have to go look for the flooring of that salon. Then I go to Diamond Lighting to choose with my interior designer, the lighting of the new salon. After that I head to the Furniture place on Mombasa road.

Definitely what struck and impressed many was the fact that things seemed to be taking a good turn for Betty and Dennis Okari.

Then later I have a meeting with Ivanna´s dad. After which I meet my brand manager. As you can see ninarock, I have my heels in place and I´m gonna make this an amazing day.

Her day ran fairly well and quite into the late afternoon so chances are the two met up in the evening before she headed home to grab some good rest.

Marriage

The former K24 news anchor went ahead to state that she looks forward to walking the isle.

Before admitting that from the look of things, she might have to call it off for a while because she needs to get her business up and running.

Ivanna´s mom said she does not need to get confused by guys and relationships right now because she is focused on doing ´her´.

I´m gonna get my ring soon. Tutaolewa ama kama hatutaolewa tutakaa tu hivyo. Sisi tuko sawa. Mi btw kwanza vile saa hii niko busy, ata sioni [nikiolewa], not in the near future. Tanasha Donna will soon be meeting Edgar Obare and his legal team in court; that is if she is ready to sue blogger, Obare as seen on a screenshot shared by the Tea master on Instagram.

The blogger who is popularly known for exposing our local celebrities might have a case in court with Tanasha Donna; who is allegedly suing him for an unnamed reason.

Mama Naseeb allegedly sent Tanasha Donna a DM informing Edgar about the lawsuit he will soon be receiving. As seen on the screenshots Tanasha Donna wrote;

Expect a demand letter from my lawyer very soon & get your lawyers ready too because you’ll need them

To which Edgar responded asking;

Although Tanasha Donna did not mention on what grounds she will be suing Edgar Obare on; Edgar on the other hand did not seem shaken by the message received from the singer.

Who you are behind the cameras, behind closed doors, the scars that you have nursed and the battles you are fighting. They know,…at least.

Celebrity couple, Diana Marua and Bahati has been an embattled one since the very day they made their relationship public. It was a cruel world for them, trolls who gave them sleepless nights and who cared less that they are also human.

But nothing has proven mightier than the love the two have for each other. They stood beside each other, had each other´s backs, picked each other up and held each other´s hand, because two make a crowd.

Barely weeks after controversial artist, Ringtone Apoko made headlines of a possible relationship with Azziad Nasenya, he has come out to say the TikTok queen does not meet the threshold of his ideal woman.

Ringtone has to be one of the few gospel artists in Kenya who has been single for so long and still not bothered that age might catch up.

When asked, the gospel artist says he is yet to meet a woman ideal to be his lawfully-wedded wife.

Just when we thought Azziad – having agreed to feature in his new track Zoea Mawe – would fit as one of the few ladies Ringtone would not be embarrassed to be spotted in public with, it turns out to be wrong.

Mellow-voiced Kenyan singer, Nadia Mukami has said no to dating until she turns 24.

The pop artist revealed this after fans could not stop bagging her with questions about her crumbled relationship to Swahili dancehall sensation, Arrow Bwoy.

The duo´s relationship had been kept so lowkey, fans were actually made aware after their breakup.

The two thereafter seemed hesitant to discuss the issue, probably in a bid to keep whatever they had private.

Fans have however decided they will not let the issue sit without understanding what really transpired and why it did.

Let me answer this generally as to why I am single! I have been single for 6 months and so many great things have happened in a span of 6 months (upgraded the moment I get in a relationship I swear I always get stuck! Giving myself a one year break!

Targeting to become a financially stable lady and achieving her dreams.

I have some goals I need to attain!! I am an idiot when I am in love! For now I just wanna make money and achieve my dreams!!

We all know controversial gospel artist, Ringtone for how much he showers himself with praises and sometimes when you think about it, you just can see zero evidence.

The Kenyan artist has time and again bragged about being the most handsome gospel male artist in East Africa.

During his interview with media personality, Jalang´o, Ringtone declared himself the Official Chairman of the Gospel industry in East and Central Africa.

The headquarter is in Runda, at my house. Headquarter haiwezi kuwa kama Banana kwa Bahati huko ndani. Mungu ako na sababu. Immediately I was born, I was ordained like Moses to be able to fight for gospel music in East and Central Africa.

Ringtone went ahead to reveal he started accumulating his wealth after realizing that his major fanbase was higschool students.

I started making money by visiting several high schools and selling my VCDs and T-shirts at a cheap price but to many people. I would leave one school with at least KSh 70-100 million. This made me a lot of money back then and that is how I bought my first Nissan Patrol.

Hall of fame

The Zoea Mawe singer further disclosed that his performance at President Uhuru Kenyatta´s political campaigns is what got him his house in Runda among his other flashy possessions.

Recalling how it all started, Mr Apoko´s Talanta song is what gained him recognition from Uhuru Kenyatta through Eugene Wamalwa.

I used to live in Westlands, in an apartment for KSh 65,000 monthly. That was in 2012. Then one day, Eugene Wamalwa called me for his Homecoming event in Kitale. The guest of honor was Uhuru Kenyatta, at the time as Minister for Finance and he was Eugene´s close buddy. They both stood up and started dancing to my song, on stage at the stadium. We later went to Eugene´s house to have lunch and Uhuru approached me and told me he was impressed with my performance and even asked me to send the song to his phone. We did the transfer on Bluetooth right there. I got paid KSh 200,000 for the event and I left.

Living large

Ringtone did not realize the mark he left behind had made such a huge impact not just to the audience at the event but to the political figures in attendance.

3 months later, the night before Uhuru launched his TNA party, he called me at 1am – I will never forget that day – my phone was constantly ringing and I ignored 5 times. When I saw Eugene calling, I picked and he told me ´Boss´ wants to speak to me and Uhuru told me he needed me to perform at his event. I asked the event organizer for KSh 250,000 and the deal was done. Unfortunately I was never paid.

Luck did not stand on his way this time until his hard work started paying back, manifold.

Eugene Wamalwa proposed to Ringtone to find something that is not in the market yet and probably Uhuru would consider.

The artist started with the idea of roadshows, pinning Uhuru´s image on the road trucks and that is how the now commander-in-chief took note of him.

Just like that, the gospel artist became a millionaire, bagging himself a house in Runda and living a high-end lifestyle since then.

Eugene told me to forget that and approach Uhuru with a new idea instead. Uhuru started giving me KSh 1 million everyday for over 120 something days for me to find a roadshow truck, to brand it and find its dancers. I made a lot of money by saving at least KSh 600,000 a day and that´s how I bought by house in Runda courtesy of pesa ya TNA ya Uhuru Kenyatta.

Family reunion? Tanasha and Diamond Platnumz finally settle their differences

Tanasha Donna has admitted she unfollowed the Dangote´s family on purpose soon after she turned her back on Diamond Platnumz in late February this year.

Most of us tend to de-link ourselves from the past and especially those that we loved – with whom things never worked out – by turning over a new leaf the moment we decide to walk away or let go.

Heartbreaks come with pain, pain that does not fade away in a matter of days but pain that can stick around for long if you let it.

Tanasha Donna detached herself from any links she had to Diamond Platnumz for one reason: she did not need a constant reminder of her past that didn´t see things work out.

She would never have healed her wounds, instead, it would only dig deeper into her sorrows and probably cause her depression. But she was wise enough.

During her recent interview, she opened up:

You know when I left that relationship, I have a weakness of reacting spontaneously to events. I felt like at the moment, coz I´m on Instagram, I am on social media and that is what is helping me earn my coins. I felt like I would be spending most of my time there and if I continue following all these people, they will act as a constant reminder of what I was going through.

Reconciliation

Yes, damage was made, pain was cost and probably love lost but Tanasha and her Tanzanian baby daddy have learnt to work together to nurture their 8-month old son.

Bi Aisha disclosed that she is now in good talking terms with the father to her son, Diamond Platnumz who she had previously labeled a narcissist.

Right now I have healed and me and the father of my son we are okay, we are in talking terms. We are not enemies. We are in communication for our son and I respect him very much and everyone he works with. But at that specific time, you know when you are going through a breakup, you are going through pain and I felt that what will help me ease the pain if I unfollow so that I don´t constantly see what is happening.

You can tell things between the two are settling after Diamond recently thanked Tanasha for supporting his track Quarantine.

We can only hope for the best out of the couple.

Otile Brown´s Just In Love music album is set to be dropping today and to appreciate his hard work, he decided to gift himself a white German beast.

A gift he unveiled yesterday as he preps for the virtual Boom Play Music exclusive listening party where his album will be going down.

Either way, the Kenyan lad bagged himself a brand new BMW 730 Li following his album completion which most definitely saw him sweat to his last.

As he welcomed his new white baby home, the talented Kenyan musician did some exclusive lunch event with most especially his crew that saw his album dream come to fruition.

It has been severally reported that Hamisa Mobetto and Ali Kiba might be having some ties behind Diamond Platnumz´ back and especially after their viral Dodo track.

Last month Hamisa made the headlines for featuring in her baby daddy´s archrival´s anthem, speculations being that she decided to side with Kiba to avenge against Chibu.

Diamond thereafter came out to respond that his Tanzanian baby mama had informed him about their collaboration prior to the shoot and he approved of it.

Hamisa clarifies

Well, I´m not saying Naseeb was lying but from her recent interview, Hamisa said she does not have to borrow permission from Diamond to do as she pleases.

Going ahead to shower King Kiba with praise for his gift in the music industry and the fact that he respects what he does and those he does his music with.

Kiba´s management reached out to the sassy model to have her feature as a vixen in his track and since the deal was pretty hefty then why not?

Turns out Hamisa agreed to the video vixen terms because the deal was good, money-wise!

Ali Kiba is a good musician, halafu ana heshima. So it was an honor for me to appear on his video and it was his management that approached me. The deal was good, so I went for it and I´m glad I did because it was all worth it.

Plus, Kiba stated that they have been bosom friends with Mobetto since way back, but he is not involved with her intimately.

“No trousers!” Celestine Ndinda narrates tough encounter with in-laws

We all have our uncertainties and fears when merging into another family. Let´s get straight to the point, anyone meeting their in-laws and especially for the first time, always feels uneasy.

Why do we always assume that we need to be ´perfect´ in this way or the other for us to be accepted into the new family? Just why?

Well, probably answers to that come in many dimensions but I don´t like that feeling. I can only imagine.

Wife to Kenyan comedian, Njugush had her fair share of awkward and embarrassing moments while meeting her in-laws.

Better known as Wakavinye, the mother of one revealed that Njugush´s parents were so conservative, she would never be allowed to put on trousers in front of them.

Born Timothy Kimani Ndegwa, the comedian´s dad was a clergy man and that only made things worse for the Kamba girl.

This forced her to cover up her trousers in loose-fitting long dresses every time she visited her in-laws.

Trousers are a ´no´. Kim´s parents do not like trousers. So, I used to wear trousers and carry a dhera and when I am near the house, I would wear the dhera.

Fortunate enough, she has since been spared the ´torture´ as her hubby´s family has slowly learnt to accept the society of today allowing her to put on trousers but not the tight-fitting ones.

At least they have come to accept trousers. But I do not wear those tight ones, but when I wear a trouser, I wear something big on top. Something like a big dress top.

That wasn´t her only awkward moment. Mama Tugi divulged she did not understand how Njugush´s siblings would tell each other ´I love you´ and it´s not like they are married. Weird. Right?

It all started from her kind of upbringing where some kind of closeness with family members was not cultivated. Celestine was that girl that never hugged her dad because it just didn´t feel right.

I started telling them ´I love you´ recently. Even hugging: I hugged my dad for the first time in Form Four and it was just a tap.

It does get awkward sometimes.
