Andrew Kibe continues to give his controversial pieces of advise on matters involving relationships. Kibe is known for his naughty and notorious topics; which he candidly speaks about without agitation.
He discusses matters Kenyan women and how they manipulate men, he discusses male weakness and how to improve and he also discusses inter-gender dynamics after the advent of feminism and how it ruined things.
He has gone after several celebrities who seem to be heading in the wrong direction, and he doesn’t give a sh*t about it. Some of those who have faced his oral fury include popular Youtuber Xtian Dela, gospel artist Guardian Angel, Bahati, among others.
In his latest topic, Kibe states that married women shouldn’t go to work; reason being that the women might eventually cheat on their partners.
” You should never allow the woman that you’re saying is your woman atoke aende apewe pesa na mwanaume mwingine… There’s nothing more powerful than chums… Wajinga ni sisi. You allow your wife to work. Wewe unafkiria waarabu ni wajinga nini?… Ndio uende usalimiwe salimiwe na watu uko?”
According to Kibe, ,married women should be housewives and solely depend on their man for financial assistance; rather than going to work in an office.
In a patriarchal society, this would definitely suffice; but with recent women empowerment, such kind of advice is peculiar to married women who believe in ‘manning up’
Andrew Kibe’s endless criticisms on celebrities continues. This time, he has gone after radio presenter Jalang’o and YouTuber & social media personality Xtian Dela; who are both set to vie for a political seat each.
Jalang’o is set to vie for for the Langata parliamentary seat in the 2022 General Election. The comedian and radio presenter expressed his optimism in clinching the seat, promising tremendous changes in the constituency.
On the other hand, Xtian Dela is set to vie for Westlands MP, asserting that the youth in the country were tired of old politicians and it was time for the young people to take charge of the country.
Kibe’s View On Celebrities Turning To Politics
Well, according to Andrew Kibe; it’s peculiar & not authentic for social media influencers to turn to politics all over sudden. He states that Xtian and Jalang’os sentiments on politics will end up in a cul de sac.
”Everybody will want to become an MP… All the social media influencers… Why weren’t you a leader then? Suddenly now you can lead? You think this is a joke. Na sio Xtian pekee yake. Everybody wants to be there.
Even Jalas the other day said, ”once I become an MP nawacha kazi ya media”.
On the contrary, Xtian had recently vacillated between giving up on politics or proceeding with it; after claiming that he’s not receiving enough support from the youth. Do you think Kibe’s sentiments on social media influencers will suffice?
Radio personality Andrew Kibe is known for not filtering his words at any point. At the same time, Andrew has a strangely comical persona. His sentiments, although controversial and straight to the point, are laden with humorous punchlines that we can’t get enough of.
Kibe’s unique personality has enable him to push on, even after undergoing so much in his career.
From losing a luxurious job at Kiss and losing his house and car, Kibe handles his frustrations with a smile.
When it comes to sexual matters, Kibe is never shy in speaking his mind. The same applies when he’s talking about relationships.
And this time, he’s after women. He explains the qualities that a woman should have to be termed as a wife material.
Submission Is Key
Speaking on Y24 on Tips on being more attractive, Kibe explained;
”Wife Material means that, you’re going to cook, you’re going to clean, you’re going to take care of this guy’s needs. Your needs are inconsequential. There’s nothing like compromising a marriage. It is a woman changing to fit a man’s lifestyle, not the other way round.”
However, Kibe dismissed the belief that Wife Material women still exist in the current generation.
According to reports, Andrew Kibe’s private photos are about to surface on social media; and thanks to blogger Edgar Obare, we have had a chance to checkout just a glimpse of what is waiting for us.
Judging from Edgar’s private source – we can confirm that indeed the photos belong to the former Kiss FM radio presenter; and boy must he be scared of these private photos surfacing on social media.
So far, word has it that apart from these photos – Kibe is also in trouble for allegedly getting involved with minors; and one of them is Michelle, a girl believed to be in highschool.
However those who follow her on IG claim that the young girl is known for her ways; and this being Nairobi – I guess it’s just a big bedroom!
Kibe’s nudes
Anyway to get Kibe’s side of the story now that the nudes are out – blogger Edgar Obare reached out to the former radio host saying;
Unfortunately Kibe did not respond and truth is; we are not sure if he has the strength to argue about his own naked photos.
After a long wait, Andrew Kibe has officially launched his new radio station ‘Rogue Radio’.
The former Kiss 100 presenter embarked on the journey early in the month, with a busy studio setup before finally taking fans on a brief tour of what his new project looks like.
The radio presenter hang his mic at Kiss 100 in June, having reportedly handed in his letter of resignation a month before quitting but unknown to co-host Kamene Goro.
Kibe did not disclose his next move, as Jalang’o came in to replace him in mid-July and where he has since been co-hosting the morning show with Kamene.
After 2 weeks of hinting on launching his own radio station, former KISS 100 presenter Andrew Kibe’s new station is finally a finished product.
Named ‘Rogue Radio’, plans to physically set it up started early in the month in an empty space that has now been turned into a whole entire warm space.
Kibe had put up a poster in search of a graphic designer who can best bring out the kind of brand he seeks to put up and after days of searching, he finally settled on one design.
A tour on the inside
Giving him the go ahead to officially introduce fans to his new space, Rogue radio, designed to his taste. From the graphics, wall art of African music legends like E-Sir, studio setting and the whole ambiance.
A simple room, well cushioned for sound proof purposes, with a round table setup, a kitchen well demarcated and a sitting area for those in studio.
According to the popular radio personality, this is a dream come true.
“From a simple dream to a beast of a reality…welcome to Rogue Radio. All of the hits without the sh*!!!” he officially announced.
It is an anxious moment as fans wait to see what is to be unveiled by Kibe.

Kibe hang his mic from Radio Africa owned-radio station, KISS 100 in June in what he claimed to be a fallout with his boss, having rendered his resignation letter early in the month, unknown to his co-host, Kamene Goro.
Jalang’o since replaced him at the station where they both host the morning radio show. Kibe meanwhile, started off with his own podcast, before launching his radio station.
If you want it bad enough, you will get it done. Former Kiss FM presenter Andrew Kibe has decided to do a one-man show after getting to work to launch his new radio station.
The popular radio personality early in the week shared photos of construction materials lying in a room with fundis at work in what seemed like a major setup.
Same day, he put up a poster in need of a graphic designer for their brand logo, announcing;
“Rogue Radio is going live in a minute. But first things first: We need a shit-hot logo. It’s a design-off, y’all! PS – Of course I’m going to pay for the best design.”
Well, so far, so good. Because barely 4 days later, the kid had something to show for his upcoming project and he clearly is not here to fool around.
The set-up almost done, complete with room demarcations, lighting, necessary wall padding of the room to make it soundproof and a seat on standby.
“Small small we are getting there. RogueRadio should be ready to roll in a couple of days,” he assured.
Fans could not hide their excitement following the announcement, admitting that Kibe’s presence in the Kenyan radio space has greatly been missed and it is time he got back to the airwaves.
Andrew Kibe hang his mic at Kiss FM in late June 2020 in unclear circumstances, leaving room for comedian and MC Jalang’o to take his spot alongside Kamene Goro.
Kibe then got involved in his podcast that hosted a couple of personalities before deciding to go big with the launch of his own radio station, ‘Rogue Radio’.
After years of gracing our TV screens and radio airwaves, several renowned media personalities have expressed interest in vying for particular political seats come the next general elections.
Some who already started their journey but got knocked off along the way. Others hopeful that politics will bring them fulfillment as they desire to see change in different parts of the country. Let’s kick off;
Kibe Andy is not new to politics. The former Kiss FM morning show co-host contested for the the Langata parliamentary seat in 2013, but never got to see the light of day. However, indicating he is still debating whether to go back into the political field or not.
The media industry has housed multiple outstanding personalities over time, some who had to make exits we never saw coming, others whose chemistry lured fans to tune in to this station or that channel only for the end to come too soon.
Be it on TV, be it on radio, Kenyans have had to witness some of the most unpleasant goodbyes among media couples, leaving wounds that might never get healed unless these duos make major comebacks. Let’s start off:
The tale of Lulu and Kanze is one of best friends who we never ever thought would part until the latter landed a lucrative State House job in 2018 where she has been working since. Meanwhile, Lulu was paired with her beloved, Rashid Abdalla.
3. Kalekye Mumo and Shaffie Weru
Kalekye and Shaffie was one of the most popular and favorite radio duo Kenya has ever heard, with personalities perfectly complementing each other but unfortunately, the Kamba doll had to leave in 2016 as Shaffie paired with Adelle Onyango.
4. Victoria Rubadiri and Larry Madowo
A speculated screen chemistry many hoped would blossom into a love story without an ending, only for Larry to soon after leave NTV for BBC in 2018, where he has since been making major moves.
5. Olive Burrows and Dennis Okari
Olive Kalekye Burrows was one lady who stirred lots of controversy after an alleged screen chemistry with Dennis Okari just after his marriage with Betty Kyallo had started becoming wobbly, before the two were eventually separated on air.
6. Andrew Kibe and Kamene Goro
The unfortunate story of Kamene and Kibe is one that probably still hurts, a match so perfect but it had to be done in June 2020 after Kibe handed in his resignation, thereafter getting replaced by Jalang’o.
Andrew Kibe recently lost his job at Kiss FM but this did not slow him down. As you know, Kibe is the type of person who takes everything lightly; and the sad part is the he barely cares about anybody else’s opinion!
So does he enjoy their (women) company? Of course just like any normal man; Andrew Kibe likes the female species and if anything we have reason to believe that he has finally found one that makes him happy.
Looking at the new photo uploaded by the radio presenter we have every reason to believe that the lady seen with him could be his new bae!
This is because this is not the first time Kibe is sharing a photo with the same lady! Unlike most men, he tries to conceal his relationships at all costs but with the new photo; I guess ladies and gentlemen we have found his better half!
Surprisingly, the very same men supposed to be standing up for and cushioning fellow men from the disgraceful act, are the very same villains!
We don’t need to look far, former Kiss 100 presenter, Andrew Kibe has opened up on his peculiar case.
Barely a child, just 5 years of age, a dear Kibe became a victim of a man’s greed for sexual satisfaction, forcing children to meet his needs and demands because of the power imbalance.
Sharing his story on his podcast with artists, Benzema and Murasta, Kibe, who had kept his story secret for more than 13 years, was able to open up after realizing he was not alone.
He recalled how the then-influential and powerful man at Ngara estate who molested children behind closed doors was the same man supposed to change an 18-year old Kibe’s life.
Revelation
On a fateful day, Kibe’s mom took him to meet someone at the government office to help him secure a job but sadly;
The guy who molested us when we were kids is sitting on the table and my mum is telling me he is supposed to give me a job and change my life.
Kibe was no longer the 5-year old kid who was powerless and answered to the guy’s demands, this time, he told him off.
I told her [Kibe’s mom] I don’t want to talk to this guy or be next to this guy. She didn’t understand it, I never told her what happened. But when I talked about it in the changing room to my friends, they had experienced something similar.
A story not even his mom was privy to back in the days, one that disturbed him for years before he could finally let go and tell of his story.
The one question is; Why?
Listen to Benzema and Murasta’s stories – one falsely accused, the other a rape survivor.
It’s a tall order trying to make an accurate assessment of Kenya’s entertainment scene without considerable tribute to a phenomenal entity, Felix Odiwuor variously known as Mzee Jalang’o or just plainly, as Jalas.
Well, here’s a seasoned jack to a lot of trades.
Jalango is an established stand-up comedian, event MC, influential radio presenter and an astute businessman running a thriving event-hosting company called Arena Media.
This is a shrewd man used to making headlines on entertainment sites, gutter blogs and mainstream media, but keen observation shows a performer aware of the secret to being a darling to the masses – remain relevant.
Until a few weeks ago, Jalas has been hosting an influential morning radio show at Milele FM, alongside popular co-host Alex Mwakideu. He sensationally quit, citing contractual disagreements and has since joined Kiss FM, replacing the iconic controversial presenter Andrew Kibe at the morning show.
It’s easy to get fooled by his trademark green suit and a well-used, leopard-print shirt. Well, this is his mark of trade on stage, and hosting events as an MC – corporate and otherwise.
Beyond that smoke screen is a determined, focused and ambitious man, with a realistic finger-touch feel of the region’s needs in terms of entertainment. And, the guts to gamble and take career risks to reposition himself to take advantage of the trends.
Felix Odiwuor has come a long way – from a roadside comic byline to a regional, influential public personality. It hasn’t been an easy ride.
As always, this success story is inspired by bleak, humble beginnings. The usual tagline starts with a struggling background. He had willing and loving parenting, but life being unapologetically what it is, he faced lots of grounding uphill in early schooling.
Jalang’o, like many other artists of repute, owes a pie to the Kenya National Theater halls, where he moonlighted as a fickle second-cast entry for a whopping three years. He’d join the travelling theatre making play of high school literature set books. Well, lady luck did smile on him.
As wheels of fate inevitably turn, a break happened out of the blues – Papa Shirandula Show on Citizen TV. Alongside colleague and friend, Captain Otoyo (aka Otos), they’d clinch and secure spots on the show that’d endear them to the viewership and catapult the show’s ratings to the top.
Jalang’o has never looked back.
On the current trend with Jalang’o replacing Andrew Kibe at Kiss FM, what many do not know is that Jalas also owes the station a significant piece of his success.
Kiss FM is the station that gave the comedian and presenter the doorway to greatness, ways back. At the time, Jalas was performing on the Papa Shirandula show, and a slot had opened at Kiss FM. Despite impossible odds, Jalas aced the interview without any academic papers – they wanted a ‘degree person’!
Since then, he’s worked with Radio Maisha, then Hot 96 alongside iconic Jeff Koinange before a move to Milele FM for a morning sting with presenter Alex Mwakideu.
The move to the Kiss FM morning show to pair up with outspoken lady presenter Kamene Goro may be Jalang’o’s best career move yet.
He’s come of age – he’s influential, established on the social scene shedding the hustler image to join the polished, perhaps corporate listenership section. It’s time Jalang’o sheds the comic, pea-brained clown persona to embrace a polished, urban, well informed analytic presenter.
Kiss FM commands a large section of the urban radio segment, and this is where the present-day Jalang’o really fits.
Since he left Kiss FM, Andrew Kibe has only been serving us more juice about his personal life, opening up on vital events no one was privy to before.
The blunt radio personality recently opened up about his dark moments, how every chiq he dates, keeps taking off with his goods, leaving him depressed.
During his recent meetup with his boys, Kibe shared his story only for everyone else in his circle to admit to the same, leaving him in shock!
I talked about how this auctioneers f**ked me in the a$$ and everybody in the room, had a story or two about themselves and I was surprised. The whole time I have been keeping to myself because I thought I was special. That I was the only one.
Adding:
I didn’t know it happens and that auctioneers are many. Business is real out here! This means there is something wrong with this system, we can’t all be suffering the same fate! It’s impossible!
Up through his Everyone has dark moments episode, pretty pained, the kid explained he never opened up on this because he was still battling some of the heartbreaks he had been served by damsels up until now.
Nobody is immune to this sh*t. I’ve never talked about my auctioneers’ stories because some of those stories I’m still dealing with them until now. Ni story hunikasirisha! Every time I think about what auctioneers have done to me, I feel horrible!
Further divulging how he would sacrifice for these side chqs at the expense of his family only for this to happen to him.
I have made some stupid, stupid sacrifices and I’m in most of this sh*t because of them. But you’ll never tell the woman you’re with, saying “you’re handling your business as a man.”
Declaring it is time men stop sparing themselves for things that were never going to pass, instead, get on it and move because time waits for no man!
Candid radio personality, Andrew Kibe left Kenyans in shock after announcing his untimely exit from Kiss FM just as June closed in, but it turns out he actually had issues with his boss.
Speculations were rife the radio lad resigned after contract terms did not go well with his employer but that is a different story.
Up and close on Bonga na Jalas, the ex-KISS 100 morning show presenter revealed that soon as Coronavirus hit the business sector in the country, he was already having it rough with his boss.
Kibe voiced he was not going to entertain anyone who pitied his “poor” economic state, therefore decided it was time he gave up his job.
Just when Covid hit, mimi na mdosi wangu tukakosana, because huyu msee aliniangalia na madharau. You don’t want anybody to pity you. My boss looked at me with contempt and I decided I can’t work with him.
Apparently, unknown to many, even his best friend and alleged side chick, Kamene Goro had zero clue that Kibe had served his boss a 3-month notice before his exit.
A notice that indicated he would be walking out come June 30 – which is the day he bid his radio fans goodbye.
One day, early morning, I sent a message, saying “3 months from today, I will leave that office”. I told friends and everyone in my life but they did not believe me. They were all in denial. I didn’t tell anybody anything, even Kamene came to know the other day and she is devastated.
Media personality Felix Odiwuor, better known as Jalang’o will join Kiss FM on Monday, July 6 where he will host the breakfast show alongside Kamene Goro.
During an interview with Andrew Kibe earlier today, the funny man said he was pleased to be making a return to the station where he cut his teeth.
Jalang’o denied having any knowledge about Kibe’s departure from the station and told off those who were saying that he had forced him out of the station.
He said he the news of Kibe’s resignation caught him by surprise just like many Kenyans. Jalang’o claimed he had been asleep and when woke up, he found himself trending on Twitter.
Kibe asked him whether the Radio Africa Group (RAG) had contacted him and he answered in the affirmative and went on to explain that he has always a good relationship with Radio Africa Group CEO Patrick Quarcoo.
Kamene Goro was then interviewed and she said that she has always held Jalang’o in high regard and would try her best to foster a good working relationship with him.
Kibe then advised Jalang’o to always keep Kamene happy. He also spoke about her good work ethic and revealed that she has had his back a number of times.
Controversial radio personality, Andrew Kibe is a guy known not to table differing opinions from his own. He speaks his mind and bluntly so and does not like it when one rattles his comfort.
The former KISS 100 presenter took on Internet sensation, Azziad Nasenya after her nasty reply to his DM.
During their recent morning show with Kamene before his ext, Kibe narrated how he tried sliding into the TikTok Queen’s DM just to ask for an interview before she openly told him to talk to her manager first, if he needed her services.
A move that Kibe took as very rude and unwelcoming of the 20-year old. Adding that the dancer and actress had the usual auto-generated responses:
Skiza buda, talk to my manager, he/she is the one who handles my bookings.
Andrew Kibe will no longer be part of Kiss 100 and this is after he announced this sad news through his Twitter handle.
This comes a big surprise considering that it has barely been a year since Kibe quit NRG to join Kiss.
Well, last year Kiss FM’s Adelle and Shaffie Weru made way for the duo as the station hoped to double it’s numbers with Kamene and Kibe; who had been making headlines through their NRG show.
Word has it that this did not go so well for Shaffie had no option but to accept. Almost 1 year later and Andrew Kibe is now in the same situation as he appears to have been shown the door! He went on to announce his exit through his Twitter handle;
Its been real watu Nduyas.i will miss all your nonsense in the morning @Kamene Goro @Kiss100kenya #kameneandkibe
Kibe disrespecting company image!
However a source close to the Radio Africa family has revealed that Kibe did not adhere to the rules set by the RAL company!
Apparently apart from showing up late for work; the fella also attracted bad publicity like his confrontation with the police – which later ends up getting reflected on Kiss FM brand!
For some unknown reason, Kibe assumed his brand secured him a permanent job at Kiss FM; but of course RAL did not come to play especially with the likes of Jalang’o still available after quitting Milele FM!
Fans however feel that a Kamene show without Kibe is incomplete; while others have already started speculating about Jalang’o taking over the morning show alongside Kamene – but will the two blend?
As of now all we know is that Andrew Kibe will no longer be part of the Kiss 100 family; but on the brighter side, chances are that he will not stay jobless for too long since his brand speaks for itself!
Rumor has had it for long that Kamene Goro and Andrew Kibe are secret lovers; and as much as her mouth continues to deny this, her body tells a different story whenever she is near Andrew Kibe.
Well, according to Kamene her colleague Kibe is just a good friend that always leaves her happy; and judging from the few photos the two share on their pages…..it’s evident that ‘happy’ is not the only glue holding this friendship.
Thanks to her latest post shared on social media, Kibe is seen starring deep into Kamene’s eyes; and if I am not wrong he must have given her goosebumps judging from the lady’s caption.
Get you a man who looks you like this!
Can you date already?
In the comment section most fans advised the two to date already; since they could smell romance all the way from Instagram.
It’s however not the first time these two are linked to each other romantically and seeing their latest IG post did not make things any better. Kibe has also never been spotted in the company of another woman apart from Kamene which may also be the reason why most people assume she is involved with Kibe.
We also can’t forget the fact that Kamene has also been hiding her new found love; but even with this….which man will let his woman get so close to another man the way she does with Kibe?
Anyway, as of now…we wait and see how long these two will continue denying this visible chemistry!
If indeed the two are lovers, then this is the first serious relationship Kamene Goro has gotten into; years after her fiancé walked out on her just a few days to their grand wedding that would have left many talking on social media.
If you’re an avid internet user, like myself, I’m sure you’ve come across a video by Prudence Chepkirui Tonui, better known as King Kalala, in the last 4 weeks or so.
She is the lady who has stirred up an internet storm thanks to her contentious opinions on relationships, broke men, sexuality and whatnot. Some people are even referring to her as the female version of Andrew Kibe.
https://www.instagram.com/p/CApFQ2nndf_/
We reached out to her a few days ago because we wanted to know more about her and her thoughts on digital content creation in Kenya and she was kind enough to return our phone call.
I must admit that I was surprised when I learnt that Prudence is only 21 and turning 22 in a few months. Apparently, she is pursuing a Marketing degree at Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology (JKUAT).
She started by making videos where she give her two cents on movies and celeb gossip but with time as she got older, she started talking about real-life situations.
Prudence does not mind being compared to Andrew Kibe because she thinks he makes a lot of sense. Actually, she is looking forward to working with him someday though she feels they would fight during the recording.
She also expressed her desire to get on radio, adding that she is not really keen on being a TV personality because she is more of a talker. However, she would not turn down a TV gig.
Prudence has a somewhat deep voice and she is not too worried about critics who claim that she sounds like a dude because it is something she has known all along. Interestingly, she really likes her voice.
I also asked her whether she is dating and what that person thinks about her content and she hinted that there might be someone in the picture. Prudence is also not so bothered by what her partner thinks about her content.
Kamene Goro and Andrew Kibe have revealed that they met on Tinder a few years ago. Actually unlike many think, these two have known each other for years hence their strong chemistry.
The two revealed this during their weekday show where Kamene narrated how she bumped into Kibe on the dating App. This was allegedly after her marriage or rather wedding to her South African husbae did not work out.
Speaking about this, Kamene Goro opened up saying;
I met Kibe three years ago but we have worked for two years together. I moved back to the county after my marriage had ended and I was trying to adjust to the Nairobi life. Hypnotic was just taking me out for dunda. So one time my friend told me to join Tinder and 3 years ago I made my debut on Tinder and matched with seven guys but went out on a date with only one guy. I went on the date and to be honest his face and his picture were not matching. So I took two shots and left. I went back to the search game and then I met Kibe. I swiped right on Kibe because I wanted to find out who this guy is from his videos. We matched and I gave him my number. My first impression of him was he has a lazy left side of his face but I am into special looking people anyway. But he looked like a funny guy. We started talking and the rest is history.
Andrew explains his side of the story
Well Kibe on the other hand thought that he had bagged himself a high class chick from posh places; and of course this was an upgrade on his side!
To him Kamene Goro was the lady he had been dreaming of; but sadly the two claim that they never dated or been with each other. Kibe said;
What I thought to be honest. This is the day to upgrade. The Lord amenionekania. Today you have an upgrade and you will start eating in Karen. I knew this is the upgrade I have been looking for and I knew the hook up was good. Then when I met you I was like she is just an ordinary guy like me.
You may not know this but controversial blogger Arthur Mandela, better known as Xtian Dela, no longer works at Kiss FM or any of the Radio Africa Group affiliates.
Dela, who was at one time a presenter at NRG Radio, joined Kiss FM sometime in June 2019 alongside Kamene Goro and Andrew Kibe.
His role was to produce the station’s breakfast show whose ratings had really taken a beating after Shaffie Weru and Adelle Onyango left.
Understandably, it’s Kamene and Kibe who vouched for him to produce the show because they had worked with him at NRG Radio where he would occasionally join them to discuss various topics on their breakfast show.
Cluelessness
Although Xtian had a short stint on radio, he had never really worked as a producer and as you may know, this is a different ball game because you have to conceptualize a 4-hour show from Monday to Friday.
Kiss FM is not just any station. It is one of the leading urban stations in Kenya with a good listenership and that means there is no time for trial and error and learning on the job, you have to hit the ground running.
So here comes Xtian who has no background whatsoever in producing a radio show and he is given this big role and he does not know how to go about it. What happens next? Your guess is as good as mine.
The Group Programs Controller at Radio Africa is an Australian national by the name Pete Sinclair and people who know him claim that he does not tolerate nonsense and mediocrity.
Sooner or later, he began to notice that Xtian Dela didn’t have a clue on how to conceptualize topics for Kamene and Kibe and the ratings were really declining so he took up the job of producing the breakfast show himself.
Adios, bro
Although Xtian kept working at the station, even without having a specific role, they had to let go of him earlier this year because they saw no point of paying him a salary of about Ksh. 250,000 for doing nothing.
The much-awaited track by Andrew Kibe, Kamene Goro, Xtian Dela, Ex Ray, Magix Enga, Timmy Tdat, Kristoff, Jua Cali and Harry Craze titled Nyoka Ya Shaba is finally out and it is eliciting mixed reactions from their fans.
Although the song, which was released a few days ago, has been rocking the airwaves it has left Kenyans wondering if Gengetone is on its deathbed with some saying the sound has become too cliche and/or predictable.
I have listened to the jam a couple of times since it came out and to be honest, I so indifferent because part of me was wowed and at the same time I feel there is nothing to write home about it.
I must give it to the musicians who were featured in this jam. I really loved how they were playing around with words and their rhymes were also sick.
If I had to pick 3 artists whose flow totally jazzed me then I’d settle on Timmy Tdat, Harry Craze and of course Baba Yao himself Jua Cali.
I’m not saying that Kristoff, Ex Ray and Magix Enga didn’t come through on Nyoka Ya Shaba, they actually did. The hook by the latter is so infectious that you will fill yourself singing along in no time.
Kristoff, who is often referred to as the King of Collabos, also aced it. His verse is so catchy and I am pretty sure you won’t forget the part where he said, “Niaje Kamene (mambo), kam nikukiss hii si Kameme (eiii).”
The artists who were featured in this song were well-thought out because their styles complement each other. Think of it like having the best of different worlds. I only wish they had included Rekless or Swat Mtoto Wa Eunice.
The beat by Magix Enga was sick. As you listen to this song, you can picture people busting moves to it at a party or a club.
The video, which was directed by the one and only VJ One, was also impeccable. Other than the sexy vixens, you will also agree with me that it had some dope shots and the scene transitioning was flawless.
In as much as I love this jam, I have to say that as you listen to it you can feel that Gengetone is dead because it does not slap as hard as the songs which were released in 2019 but then again maybe it’s just me.
Watch Nyoka Ya Shaba below and tell us what you think. Enjoy!
Kiss 100’s presenter Andrew Kibe is not one who shy’s away from speaking out his mind and if I am not wrong….this is why most ladies seem to have a problem with him.
Just recently during a question and answer session with comedian Ronoh; the Kiss 100 presenter got to finally reveal his marital status after being asked when he would be settling down.
Well for those who didn’t know…Andrew Kibe is actually somebody’s husband but at the same time single since he separated with his wife a while back following personal reasons.
On paper I am married, I have a proper wife… but I’ve been single for four years
Father of one
Also, we have now learnt that Andrew Kibe has a son who he rarely talks about since the child lives with his mother.
According to Kibe his son’s mother has been keeping his boy away from him after finding out that he had remarried.
Until five years old, I was given the chance to see him. I later married another lady and my kid’s mother cut me off. Since then, I have never seen my child.
Kamene Goro and Andrew Kibe are among those people that speak out their minds without holding back!
In a new video shared by Kiss 100’s Xtaindela, Kamene Goro and Andrew Kibe who are seen having a few drinks at an unknown area are heard talking about Huddah’s money.
However, seems that nothing positive was actually said in the viral video that has left many talking on social media.
A drunk Kamene Goro is heard saying that it’s impossible for someone who has standard 3 English to have a mansion in Kileleshwa and own a Range Rover.
As the conversation continues Kibe tries to hold off but seems like Kamene couldn’t let go of the fact that she knew Huddah was just making pudesh money!
Huddah hits back
The socialite cum businesswoman who is currently ‘vacationing’ in the United States decided to hit back after coming across the viral video.
According to Huddah, she will not bother to address the issue since a queen never gets off her thrown to address peasants!
New Kiss FM employees Andrew Kibe and Kamene Goro are gearing up to start their new job as hosts at morning breakfast show. The two are set to start on July 1 and are really excited.
“I have been listening to Kiss FM since the time I was in school, and now that I will be hosting a show that has been my favourite, it is just amazing. It is a huge challenge, but we are ready to take it on.” said Kamene.
“It is dope to see that someone had strong belief in us because many people have been afraid of our brand, especially because of the immense topics we have been discussing.”
Change
Kamene opened about how things are now different since the first time he met fellow host Andrew Kibe. Kibe is a hardcore anti-feminist who calls women all kind of names.
Kamene said that Kibe has now softened up and is treating women very differently.
“Kibe is very founded in his beliefs, although he has changed a lot on how he thinks about women, and we can just wait and see how he is going to be in this new show,” she said.
“He is who he is and my intentions for him is to probably change his thinking, although my opinion about him is very different from everyone else.”
Njambi Koikai has clashed with Andrew Kibe after a controversial video that of the NRG radio presenter went viral on social media for all the wrong reasons.
In the video, Andrew Kibe is seen lashing out at Kenyan women calling them dogs. The presenter savagely blasts women stating that they are ugly when they are not humble.
Stop objectifying woman
Njambi Koikai quickly fired back at Andrew Kibe saying that he was rude, vulgar, ill-mannered etc. She further called on the NRG radio presenter to stop objectifying women.
“I’m raging mad. I’ve been unwell and I stumbled on this crap. Trash. Firstly, a woman’s body belongs to her. The day you stop objectifying women’ is the day you will have sense, decency and some manhood. yOU TALk ABOUT PERIODS LIKE YOU KNOW WHAT women go through during this process. You literally abuse us. You are now calling us dogs as well as our grandmothers. You are the biggest disgrace to men ever. You are vulgar, crass, crude, MANNER LESS, heartless, shameless, plain mean. This guy is even on a radio show. He is on a breakfast show. Now last I checked, media’s role is to offer edutainment. Inform and teach the masses, entertain the masses. Women are now being Insulted and called dogs In order to gain ratings. It’s sad. It’s crude. It’s shameful,” wrote Njambi in one post.
She also revealed that she had reached out to relevant people to see to it that Andrew Kibe is punished for the misogynistic comment.
I reached out to the necessary people who are in charge. They’ve heard me and we await to see if they will do something about it. Sexism and misogny should not be allowed. We have to stand for the truth in our society and call out the wrong elements.
I’ve been unwell for the past few days and to see a man abusing us and objectifying us was petrifying. It’s painful to see the level of abuse. He spoke of periods and a sex position because we are objects. He called us dogs and how independent women are unattractive. We cannot condone this. Hope those i spoke to will do something about it. I know it’s for ratings but we can’t allow this kind of abuse to keep going on.
I’ve just seen someone asking people or rather men not to donate to my medical fund. That’s ok. We can’t support abuse and degradation of women. This is hurting women. This hurt me.Considering the amount of pain I’ve been in and other women suffering in silence. You can call me all sorts of names but that doesn’t change who i am. The ones who truly know me, know me. My instagram page is as active as an energizer battery. You can troll us. Spread the rumors. Make fun of my condition and my fundraising process. It’s not an issue but we are not going to tolerate anymore abuse and insults.
Also attack me if you must but not my friends. They commented on my post so don’t drag my people into this.
