As the world grapples with the wrath of the deadly corona virus, Guardian angel just as his name suggests has dropped something for his fans “Corona”.

The song realised in collaboration with the Ministry of Sports, Culture and Heritage earlier today is just what Kenyans needed in the middle of all the panic in the country currently.

The artist takes just a minute to clearly put across his message. Words of encouragement and hope to a nation that is shaken by the rising number of covid-19 cases.

The video is simple civic education at its best: clear and precise to the point. Its simple in a sophisticated manner.

Furthermore, there’s nothing much going on in it besides the singing and simple gestures to help drive the message home. Its quite enjoyable to watch and Amina Mohammed’s message at the end of it gives the message the “governmenty” touch. I think I can say that.
Since its more of civic education it has the quality needed for tv and radio. It would make a good advert on air as it is relatable to persons of all ages and social classes.

The song only takes a minute to encourage Kenyans that they can beat corona if they purpose to. Quarantine Sanitize and observe social distance.

The fact that he has released at least 3 songs since this year began is a good show of his hard work.

EMB’s Weezdom drops new track “Roba Roba” after long musical dryspell

Kenyans or rather gospel music lovers were in for a rude shock when Weezdom’s song roba roba was released. The artist signed under Bahati’s EMB record label has had a backlash from fans who didn’t shy away from expressing their disappointment in the quality of song and everything that’s related to it.

Some fans blame it on the poor management of the record label as well as the labels lack of interest in doing quality work as every record label is required to.

Remember  Weezdom had also left the label before returning and starting afresh.
The song is a raw deal especially for those who love gospel music. It’s a total waste of song as it carries little to no meaning. No words of encouragement, no praise or worship aspect to it.

Honestly its easy to say it is not gospel and neither is it good enough to be graded as secular.

Lyrics and video

The song is so short. It ends before the listener gets the gist of it. Besides the beat he only sings for 2 minutes There is a lot of repetition in it. The beginning of the song has this Lucky Dube kind of ring to it but then it shifts to Nyashinski kind of rap followed by a mixture of styles. It is not the conventional singing, neither is it rap.

The video lacks order. It features a mix of old school and kind of modern. Since the song doesn’t have a clear outline, the video vixens struggle with the dance choreography.

Well it goes without saying that the song was rushed and is of poor quality. EMB record label can do much better. Weezdom also needs to rethink his musical career and wake up from his slumber because at this rate he will be pushed out of the industry without him knowing.

Diamond Platnumz manager speaks about his health days after he was hospitalized

Sallam SK is doing better now that his doctors have been giving him full attention; and monitoring his health after testing positive for the coronavirus.

Well, just a few hours ago the Wasafi records manager was forced to speak up after a certain gossip Instagram blogger, the originaleast; announced that Sallam was admitted at the ICU fighting for his life!

The news spread like wild fire as fans came out to offer him prayers while other criticized him for all the bragging he had been doing while back in Tz.

Anyway, turns out that Sallam SK is okay and not admitted at any ICU ward as revealed.

Well, this is because the manager came out to address the ICU rumors making rounds on social media.

Through his Instagram page, the fella revealed that he was doing better now and will be running a second test to see whether the virus left his body or not; before being discharged.

This was revealed earlier today by Original East an Instagram blogger who seems to have a close source telling her reliable information about Diamond Platnumz and his team in Europe.

The same blogger was the first one to share Sallam SK’s coronavirus test – before the WCB manager came out clean about his status.

Well there seems to be more details about the team and things don’t look so good!

According to the gossip blogger, Salla SK is currently in the ICU fighting for his life! It is not known how bad his health is – but the blogger has urged fans to continue praying for the fella during this hard time.

Vera Sidika recently revealed that she is no longer with Jimmy Chansa!

This is because she is not ready to let any man walk over her when she is capable of taking care of herself!

The socialite cum business lady revealed this through a comment where she portrayed Dr Jimmy Chansa as a toxic and controlling man! She went on to hint that he may have not been contented with one woman; which led to their break up.

Meg C who was a big shot back in the day; is back to making headlines!

Just a few days ago she was rumored to be dating a Tanzanian celebrity, Country boy; who is said to have been warming her bed for the past few months.

According to reports, this is the first serious relationship Meg C is involved in years after losing her husband; on the same day their first born was celebrating her birthday!

As sad as it sounds, Meg C lost her husband while pregnant with their second child; who never got the chance to meet her daddy. However the situation was worse for their first born since the daddy died on the same day she was celebrating her birthday.

Did Mwana FA lie about his Coronavirus positive status? He speaks!

Mwana FA recently announced that his coronavirus tests came in positive after jetting in to Tz from South Africa; where he had travelled for business.

In his video, the father of two revealed that he was not feeling all well while leaving South Africa; and immediately after arriving in Tz, he went straight to run the coronavirus test just to be sure about his status.

Fortunately his results came in as soon as possible, a move that helped him protect his loved ones as he did not come into contact with any of children or family members.

However word on most Tanzanian gossip tabloids is that the rapper lied about his status – just to catch everybody’s attention and of course a pity party of him!

Fans went on to criticize him for acting like the sickness was not dangerous yet they were aware of the cases of deaths back in Europe.

According to most, Mwana FA’s don’t care attitude might have just confirmed that he either lied about his status; or was endorsing the sickness to create awareness around Tz.

In conclusion Mwana FA said that he just has the normal flu signs; but nothing major to cause an alarm especially now that he has doctors watching him 24/7.

Fashion designer Wolper Stylish who is also a renowned actress is ready to have a baby after many years of living life as a single woman.

The lady revealed this through her Instagram page where she talked about starting her own family in a long detailed post.

Through his Instagram page, Sallam SK opened up about his situation saying that he is currently receiving medical care; however he urged everyone to take good care of themselves since COVID – 19 is real!

Ali Kiba has joined the list of celebrities wishing all coronavirus patients a quick recovery through his Instagram page.

Earlier Friday morning Ali Kiba shared what appeared to be a prayer on his Instagram page; crying out to God not to punish his people with the virus that seems to be making rounds around the world.

This past weekend a video of a lady seen beating up Harmonize look alike spread like wild fire on Instagram. Well, apparently the lady was duped into believing that the guy she was involved with is Harmonize!

According to the lady, the fella approached her through his Instagram page where he introduced himself as Harmonize. Seeing such a big celebrity in her DM, she had no option but to quickly pounce on the opportunity of dating the star!

As seen on the viral video, the angry lady attacked the impostor beating him up for lying to her about his identity; which lured her into a relationship with him. In the video the lady yelled out saying;

Mbosso from Wasafi proves he is the king of Swahili ballad in new jam “Tamba”

Tanzanian superstar Mbosso has dropped another love ballad dubbed “Tamba”. A song that is clearly a hit already considering the number of views for the audio on YouTube that stands at 230k just a day after release.

For a guy that had given up on music after the dissolution of the 2015 to 2017 Yamoto Band. Mbosso has proven that his talent is impeccable.

Since he joined the Diamond Platinumz own  Wasafi records Mbosso has done well so far and has even been rumored to be the latest favorite of his boss Simba.

Tamba is Swahili that loosely translates to being proud of who you are and have fun. Basically letting the world know who you are.

In the song Mbosso is singing too the woman he loves. He promises her all that life could offer. Trust Mbosso when it comes to using metaphors in his expressions of love.

The “Ate” hitmaker gives you reason to always hope in love in every situation rich or poor. How?He starts of by what seems like a call to his love asking her to prepare hot water for his shower as he is on his way home with a surprise.

He even goes ahead to tell her that she should also be ready to receive him in a special way.This that he even asks her to where her best clothes.

Yes I am also trying to get the deeper meaning of that but whatever it means I’d fall in love with him too. Furthermore “Tamba” is descriptive that I hope many men chose for a wedding reception for their brides.

As we wait for the video I believe this going to top the charts for a while. The Lizer Classic mixed track also has a tune of few sampled beats of previous songs and that just shows how he is the genius of music.

Diamond Platnumz is currently abroad with his team as they had several shows in Europe where the Coronavirus pandemic seems to have hit the whole world.

His manager has already been diagnosed with the virus but is currently receiving medical attention. Through his Instagram page Sallam SK assures his fans that everything is fine in terms of his health.

Sallam shared a detailed post where he wrote;

HABARI…!! Napenda kuwajulisha na kuwatoa hofu ndugu, jamaa na marafiki kuwa nimepata majibu ya vipimo na nimeonekana nikiwa na Corona Virus.

He went on to add;

Thanks to a video shared by mama Dangote on her Instagram we now understand that Diamond Platnumz and his team are currently in quarantine as they wait for their results.

Singer Ben Pol is a father to a young baby boy, Mali who turned 4 years on 19th March.

The excited father shared the good news through his Instagram page sharing a series of photos from the lit birthday party.

Although he prefers keeping details of his son and baby mama on the low; word has it that Ben Pol has been Co parenting with his former lover in a peaceful way not allowing the media to get involved.

Diamond Platnumz and team quarantined after manager tests positive for Coronavirus

Bongo Star Diamond Platnumz and his team who are currently in Europe have been quarantined just a few hours after manager Sallam tested positive for the coronavirus.

The team which travelled to Europe for their tour was forced to cancel all shows due to the coronavirus epidemic; which has left many countries on lock down!

According to Diamond Platnumz Instagram stories, his team currently in quarantine; since they were all in contact with Sallam SK who is currently receiving medical attention.

Together with producer Lizer, photographer Lukamba, Rayvanny manager Don Fumbe,his four dancers,Director Kenny, P, Band Members among other people; the Wasafi team will be behind closed doors for a few days before they get their results!

However, it seems that the Wasafi boys are having a bit too much fun as seen on the IG videos shared by Platnumz.

After rumors claiming one of Diamond Platnumz manager was affected by the virus; Sallam SK yesterday confirmed the rumors in a lengthy post where he assured fans that all was well!

He went on to say;

Tanzanian artist Mwana FA tests positive for Coronavirus

Mwana FA has come out to announce that he recently tested for the coronavirus after a few signs here and there; and the results came out positive.

The artist announced this through his Instagram page where he shared a detailed post explaining himself. According Mwana FA went for the coronavirus body test on Friday following a feverish feeling in his body.

Having read and understood the different body changes accompanied by the COVID-19 virus; Mwana FA isolated himself to avoid infecting other people.

Anyway after receiving his results today, Mwana FA says they came in positive but he feels better; since he has been receiving treatment.

The news was first announced by Originaleast; who revealed that one of Diamond Platnumz manager had tested positive with the virus.

The Wasafi team however chose to keep the news on the low; until just a few minutes ago when Sallam confirmed the news through his Instagram page.
