Meet Akothee’s handsome son that we knew nothing about

So far fans know that Akothee is a mother of 5 but her latest posts of her son suggest that she could have 6 kids.

Well, this is after she shared two photos introducing her son to her fans. The first photo the young man by the name of Holyfield Evander is seen hanging out with Akothee’s mum and dad; while in the other photo he is seen posing alone.

In both posts, Akothee acknowledges that the young man is indeed his son but what we can’t verify is if they are blood related.

Looking at Akothee’s age and that of her ‘son’ it’s obvious to assume that she might just be playing the role of a mother figure to him and not that she gave birth to him.

Alikiba to wed his Kenyan sweetheart this Friday!

There have been several rumors linking Alikiba to a certain beauty by the name of Amina from coast. Well, it’s true that he is set to marry her in a low key event expected to take place on 2nd March 2018.

The news about his wedding was confirmed by his brother who recently spoke to Ijumaa Wikienda. Well, the private wedding will be held in the coast area attracting close friends and relatives only.

This is the first time Alikiba is holding a wedding despite having baby mothers in Tanzania. His wedding might also be attended by big political names like Hassan Joho who are among his close friends.

Details about the wedding are however scarce but we will be looking forward to the pictures shared from the event.

Vanessa Chettle welcomed her baby girl two weeks go but this will not be reason she stops herself from partying.

This past weekend she gave fans a reason to talk after posting a few photos of herself partying at a new club.

As expected most of the comments were shared to criticize her as most people could not believe that she had left her baby alone already.

Well, it’s understandable since it’s been barely a month and her body is still healing but this is not something that bothers the young socialite.

Singer Amani announced that she is no longer in the secular business now that she is a born again Christian.

This took many by surprise as she had been in the music industry for many years and not many thought that she would one day wake up and change the type of music she would be releasing.

Anyway, this was not such a big surprise since the likes of Size 8 and Wahu had already made the same  move. However, there are those who were quick to criticize the singer after her announcement.

Apparently a few characters claimed that she was now in the gospel industry to make more money but Amani has come out to refute the claims.

Speaking to SDE, the singer said;

“I have heard the most ridiculous things since. I announced that I got saved. Guys claim that I am switching to gospel because of money.”

She this on to add that she has been saved for almost a year now but after announcing the news, people were now pointing figures.

“I was born again a while back. Before I made the announcement, no one said anything. People can be judgmental and it’s often based on perception. I prefer to focus on my relationship with God and getting to know Him more,”

Well, now fans will understand why she got saved.

Speaking recently during an interview with Kalekye Mumo on Central Talk; Catherine Kamau not only revealed why she left Mother-in-law but how she also got pregnant.

According to Catherine Kamau she was just new in campus when she got a boyfriend and within 2 moths, she was already pregnant.

Had no idea about family planning

Well, she did not get pregnant out of ignorance but because she didn’t know anything about family planning. She opened up saying;

“I was 19, I had just joined campus in Uganda I grew up with my very strict mum. This was my first time alone, first time away, exploring. Aki hata sikumaliza 2 months nikajazwo! It was so confusing. I can’t believe I didn’t know about family planning. I didn’t know, it happened and life changed I had to come home and get my baby.”

Tanzanian sweetheart Wema Sepetu has found herself in the center of Zari and Diamond Platnumz drama. She is now said to be the reason the two split up.

This come as after Zari’s interview with BBC. Zari opened up saying that she decided to walk away after seeing a video of Diamond Platnumz and Wema cuddling up.

A few weeks ago Diana Marua welcomed her first child and just like any excited dad, Bahati was quick to share of his wife in maternity.

With all the excitement he might have forgotten to filter Diana Marua’s photo where she appeared to look darker than usual. He however pulled down the  photo a few minutes later but by then, many had already taken screenshots.

The photo was then circulated on social media as most people trolled the new mum saying that she applies layers of make up to appear lighter on photos.

From what we have learnt is that Nick Mutuma and his girlfriend have been staying in LA, United States where the baby was born.

Celina reveals why she left Tv show Mother-in-law

Catherine Kamau aka Celina has been in the industry for a couple of years now. She became quit famous after landing the role of Celina on Mother in law and since then her star keeps shining brighter.

In a new interview the lady however opens up about why she opted to walk away from the show despite not giving any notice. Speaking to Kalekye Mumo on Talk central show, Catherine Kamau expressed her gratitude for having been part of the amazing show; but she got to a point where she felt that it was time the leave.

“I think looking back at things ,it was God’s time for me to leave but I wish I left in a nice way”

she went on to hint that after working with the show  for years, the cast or management sort of forgot her worth. For this reason she had to step out of her comfort zone hoping to venture into new projects.

However, Catherine Kamau says that she resigned without a plan and this is something she regrets doing. But in her defense, something apparently happened triggering her to pack her bags.

Singer AY and his wife Remmy finally got hitched this weekend in a low key event held in Tanzania.

The wedding which only saw close friends and relatives attend came a few weeks after AY traveled to Rwanda to pay off the bride price.

Zari Hassan this past weekend had her first interview with BBC talking about her break up with baby daddy, Diamond Platnumz.

Accoriding to Zari, their relationship started facing issues after Hamisa Mobetto gave birth to Diamond Platnumz other child but she chose to forgive him.

However, things took a turn after her baby daddy’s video emerged cuddling with his ex, Wema Sepetu at a party. After seeing the video Zari then decided to unfollow both Diamond and his mum for good.

Tanzanian singer AY and his wife will apparently hold their white wedding tomorrow as revealed. According to several news outlets, AY and his lovely bride will officiate their union tomorrow in front of friends, family and close relatives.

This comes close to 3 weeks after the singer and his family accompanied with friends flew off to Rwanda to pay for the bride price. From the photos shared on social media, the ceremony was one of a kind as his male friends ensured to make him look good in front of his in laws.

Now that he is to hold a white wedding, the details are quite scarce as we don’t know where the ceremony will take place.

Well, it’s obvious that many have been hating on Victoria Kimani because she is more of a ‘Nigerian’ artist than a Kenyan one.

But truth be told, a lady has to do what she has to do to keep her money flowing in. Even though some assume that she is not patriotic, this is because her level of music is way at the top and this because she worked hard to get where she is!

When most Kenyan female artists struggle to compose sensible songs; Victoria Kimani seems to have perfected this from the word go. So far she has worked with the likes of Prezzo, AY and yes….Diamond Platnumz.

This is enough to show that her determination from 2014 meant to get to the continental level. If this is not enough then I wonder what will prove her haters wrong.

Right now, it would cost a local artist millions to collaborate with Diamond Platnumz but look…Victoria Kimani already closed that chapter.

Ringtone has made it obvious that he is now interested in Zari Hassan now that she is a single woman.

In a recent interview the gospel singer came out to ask for Zari’s hand in marriage as he is ready to settle down unlike Diamond Platnumz.

Speaking to Pulse Magazine Ringtone has gone further to reveal when he is so interested in the lady even though he knows he cannot have her. He said,

She needs a born again man, I have what it takes to get a lady of her class. In fact, I am ready to get my Karen house ready for her.”

“I didn’t join a cult!” Tero Mdee reveals why she abandoned her successful career in Nairobi

It has been 7 years since Tero Mdee walked out on her TV and Radio shows in Kenya. The lady apparently left with no goodbyes and not even her boss John Rabar knew why she was walking out on her successful career.

She was later heard to have married a pastor who changed her lifestyle in every where possible. She was no longer the stylish lady we saw host Str8t up and she no longer went by the name of Tero Mdee but Nancy Hebron.

Speaking to HBR’s ignition show, Nancy opened up about why she left saying that she was responding to a higher calling she wouldn’t ignore.

 “I have been home in Tanzania. I went back home because I wanted to do something I was called to do for a while. God called me. It wasn’t easy, for 8 years this was the life (media life) I knew. It reached a point where I wasn’t happy. I would smile but I wasn’t really happy I wasn’t satisfied I was in a place of confusion and I had to make a choice.”

Shuts down her Facebook and Twitter

She went on to add that she had to deactivate her Facebook and Twitter pages now that she was a changed person.

“I knew I had to go, I knew I had to say goodbye. After my last show, I shut down Facebook and I shut down Twitter”

Nancy Hebron went on to add that she never joined a cult as many were claiming. She willingly left the secular world on her own will and that she was never brainwashed!

“I didn’t join a cult, I wasn’t brainwashed. I accepted Christ and I started serving him and I love it. I wouldn’t change anything, it was the best decision ever.”

Victoria Kimani will not be playing the polite girl anymore; she is fed up with the two faced comments from fans claiming she is not patriotic.

The singer shared her opinion through her twitter page urging fans to stop pretending they care about Kenyan music; wherelse they are the first ones to support Nigerian concerts held in the country.

I care less about your comments

For her, it doesn’t matter anymore whether they accept her as a Kenyan artist – building her brand differently as she cannot make everyone happy.

With all this said and done… it’s sad to see that Victoria Kimani has actually paved a way for many Kenyans to land collaborations with continental artists.

University student Akwilina Akwilini shot dead by a police man finally laid to rest

A student, Akwilina Akwilini from the collage of NIT in Tanzania was shot dead on 17th February; by a stray bullet as revealed on social media.

Apparently the young lady met her untimely death after the police allegedly shot in the air;  to control a crowd of hundreds of Chadema party people trying to force their way to a certain office nearby.

Her death left many pointing fingers at Tanzanian government who later agreed to carter for everything used for her funeral.

Having received the sad news; Akwilina’s dad is said to have gone for two days without being himself after losing a daughter who he had struggled to educate.

The government is however looking into the matter; and the late Akwilina’s family will be compensated as revealed by several news outlets.

‘Street couple’ receive more gifts after their make-over photos went viral

Two love birds Sammy and Virginia who were living in the streets like Chokoras left many talking after their photos were shared widely on social media. This is after one photographer by the name of Muchiri frames decided to give them a make over as a gift for their Valentine’s Day.

Judginf from their before photos, it’s evident that the couple had been struggling but their guardian angel Muchiri frames changed their lives over night.

Their new photos left Kenyans impressed with how a stranger was willing to step in and change their lives for free. With everyone talking, Muchiri landed an opportunity to grace Kubamba Radio where he revealed some of the plans he has for the couple.
