Naiboi is back with Sondeka part 2 featuring All Stars. Those featured in this jam are ExRay, Kristoff, Fena, Benzema, Femi One, Mordecai, V6 and Khaligraph Jones. Sondeka part 2 is introduced by Dj Shitti a comedian and an actor. It is a great collabo where all those mentioned have performed a stanza.

Also, Sondeka part 2 is a continuation of Sondeka part 1. In this jam Naiboi is talking about correcting certain behavior in human beings.

Sondeka Part 2 is all about what?

To start with, you’ll notice that these artists are also talking about MCSK. This is in line with the recent payments they made to the musicians and angered them.

They say that they are correcting that. It says that tabia ya kukali wasanii na MCSK tunasondeka.  Also, they talk of how people are jealousy when they see one with a big car.

Naiboi is very talented and the way he also performs his lines is just good.

Niaboi is very creative in this Sondeka jam. The fact that he has brought a couple of artists on board shows team work. Sondeka has been produced by Rixx. The video is super good and quality.

Lulu Diva has dropped a new jam dubbed Chekecha. Diamond’s alleged lover, Lulu Diva has released this jam amid claims that he is pregnant for him. Also it is said that she is dating Jaguar alias Charles Njagua a Kenyan member of parliament.

Chekecha is a song that is talking more about making love and how it is served. The Tanzanian song-tress has well crafted lyrics even after taking forever to release songs. It is clear that Lulu Diva has given Chekecha her all. All this you can tell from the costume to the dancers.

What is the message in ‘Chekecha’?

It is time to look at what Chekecha is all about. To start with, there are lines that are too good to be left out. Anafikisha meli na inashuka Bandari ooh, bandari ooh Hiki kinesi kimedunda dunda Shangari ooh, shangari ooh. In this stanza she has used a lot of coded language.  She has likened the act of the lover to that of a ship captain on a journey. Also trying to find out which journey it is.

This stanza is vulgar. You can already tell that by looking at this stanza. It is obvious she is describing an act. To add on, she is talking of being given porridge. Really this is crazy.

Na sio mchina Anachekecha, anachekecha Na mi namcheketua Anachekecha(mama) Kipa na matede. Also you realize in this stanza she is explaining what they are doing to each other. Though sugar coated, one can easily tell what this is about.

In addition to the meaning, Chekecha has a selected audience. It is only appealing to those below 30.

In conclusion, Lulu Diva has delivered Chekecha in a superb way. Did she really have to pick those shirtless male vixens? Anyway they look like snacks. Last but not least, Lulu Diva gets a rating of 5/10 in Chekecha.

Fell Me has that lyrical prowess in it. It is very creative and every word in it is enough for the target audience who is a woman in this case.

We are going go analyze some of the lines here and am sure you are going to like it.

There is this part where she says maybe you can call me honey, mimi na wewe hatutengani and then there is also I wanna make you Feel me. This is all about what she is asking to be done to a woman. Am sure if you try this experiment things will never be the same.

In the chorus I wanna make you Feel Me is where the strength of the song is. Am sure by the end of the day you will be singing these lyrics in your head.

In conclusion, Vivian has done a good job on Feel Me with the help of Control Bwoy, Sam West and Zj Addikt who helped in song idea development. Also mixing mastering and production has been done by Ogopa Deejays. She and Sam West directed the video which is so good. Editing has been done by Elix (Rahim).

Zzero Sufuri has been featured in new jam dubbed Wisdom. Wisdom is the work of Michael Bundi who in this case has sought Zzero Sufuri a ghetto artist. Zzero Sufuri has done a couple of songs which currently are doing well for the ghetto anthems. I even lacking words to describe this kind of work.

Also this jam has used a style that will make you try to understand it. It is a mixture of Zzero Sufuri’s rap. This guy Zzero does so well. You all remember his jam Matishaa. It is a good thing to see him getting collaborations. Being a ghetto anthem artist going solo is a big deal. Remember he is competing with people who are in groups.

Michael Bundi on the other hand is well talented. Come on good people and promote this young generation. The duo’s voices complete each other for this jam Wisdom.

He is known for his single Usiende Mbali. Nedy was nominated on Afrima Awards in 2018 and won on a category of African Fans favorite.

What is the message in ‘Kinomanoma’?

To start with, Kinomanoma is more of a love song. A dude is smitten by some woman. This shows that the lady is pretty that she captures the dudes attention.  Also, looking at the video you can already tell what this is about.

Lets look at some of the line like; Toto lanichapa mijeledi Amenifumba macho nyuma sirudii Kwenye wimbo wangu ye ndo melody Kwenye kifungo chake mimi nimeridhi. Firstly, in this line she is the melody. How true this is I don’t know.
Secondly, there is this stanza that makes me think the song also touches on sex; Nampaga rungu tamu nampolea Bila maji mazito deki naendelea Akipapasa nyundo mi nagongelea Eyaaa, eeh. I let you be the judge on this one.
In addition to the lyrics, the duo has done a good job. Nedy Music and Jux have proved that they can do more together.

Rich Mavako is back with a new single dubbed Babilon. The Tanzanian singer is back after a few months of his last release. Babilon sounds like Rich Mavoko is talking to Harmonize after him leaving Wasafi. You people know that Rich Mavoko was also at one time signed under Wasafi Record Label?

Like they say, a song tells a lot and this Babilon tells it all. Although Rich Mavoko is a bongo artist I think he has also learnt to use poetic language in his work. He has delivered Babilon so well and the lyrics are super good.

Also it is not always that people will tell you how things are. But whoever he is talking to here needs to listen to this.

To start with, I know that when you hear a song you first try to understand what the title means. In this case we all know that Babilon was in the Bible and this were people who thought they were clever than God. Here he talks of system ya Babilon, which I might say is all about people who think they are strong.

Lets dig deeper into the lyrics; Mwanangu we ukitoka usirudi Fanya tu tupate dishi tuishi gudi Watakupa maseke kusudi Ili tu wakutoe kwenye mudi. This kind of advice seems to be talking to someone. Rich Mavoko here tells of how whenever one decides to leave to go on and focus on what feeds him. Also, he further says that they will try to ruin your moods which in this case is very true.

All he needs to do is hold back and pretend he has no strength and with time he will leap.

Konki Fire by Ex Gee, Kristoff and Dj Lyta is the newest jam from the trio. Every Kenyan artist is claiming their rightful place in this music industry. Kristoff is known for doing well in collabos. This dude is super talented. The way he has performed i this jam Konki Fire is something that confirms my previous statement.

The trio which also comprises of a very famous Dj Lyta is amazing. Their work is dope and this is a jam that people will be singing day in day out. Come to think of it this way, how about they did more collabos?

What is Konki Fire about?

Konki Fire is a jam that describes a girl and how hot she is. You know here in Kenya when someone mentions fire it already sends a message of what they mean.

When you listen to the lyrics you are definitely going to fall in love with Konki Fire. There a lot of love displayed in this jam and a lot of chemistry.

Q Chilla has a new jam dubbed Pepeta. In Pepeta he has featured Uganda’s finest, Eddy Kenzo. Pepeta comes in as Q chilla is trying to make a comeback in thee music industry. Also, Harmonize has been seen trying to support him.

To start with, I must admit that this is a great collabo. Q  Chilla is on the right track on his way back.  As much as the guy has been away, their voices are in sync.

By this I mean that they are a good duo. The duo has performed Pepeta in the best way possible. Can’t wait for the video.

What is ‘Pepeta’ about?

First Pepeta is more of a love song dedicated to a girl. For instance, there is line in which Q Chilla describes the girl;

Ana mwendo wa matege  Nimechill radhi sio feki Hatumiagi mchina mchina(Mchina mchina) Kifuani pako dede, wala hahitaji jeki Yaani yamesimama wima wima(Wima wima).

In addition to the love described, there is also this line which shows what Pepeta means in the song. In this stanza, he calls the girl sweet names and asks her to Pepeta for him. Beiby nitang’ang’ana(Pepeta) Yeah pepeta(Pepeta) Beiby girl you give me love You give me love(Pepeta) Yeah pepeta(Pepeta).

Without going deeper into the song, conclusion can be made that this is a love song. You know in Kenyan context Pepeta means shaking the ass…

Q Chilla and Eddy Kenzo’s collaboration just shows the willingness of East Africa artists to work together. It is a great audio. Also you will notice that the audio and the beats are in sync. What do I mean? Simply it shows that there is flow and the sound is very clear.

Performance

The duo has delivered the song in a good way. There is a lot of energy. If you have listened to Eddy Kenzo’s work, am sure you know how he does it. The Q Chilla we knew before is slowly coming back.

Last but not least, the song Pepeta by Q Chilla and Eddy Kenzo gets a rating of 5/10.

 

 

“Nitaambia watu nini” Akothee announces she is pregnant with baby number 6!

Word making rounds on social media is that Akothee is expecting her 6th child.

The singer announced this through her Instagram page where she joked about how sharp the owner of the pregnancy was. She captioned the photo saying;

Judging from the comments seems like most of her fans were happy to hear that she was expecting another baby while others felt that this was just another stunt she was pulling before dropping a new project.

Back In 2016 the singer revealed that she suffered a miscarriage losing her twin babies in Switzerland where she had been hospitalized.

Many believe that Diamond Platnumz only has 3 children and another one on the way…but this is not the case.

A few months ago the Tanzanian artist was allegedly said to have fathered twins with His American based baby mama – something that is yet to be confirmed.

Apart from this, another Kenyan lady from Kisumu came out accusing Diamond Platnumz for neglecting their child; a story that did not last long as the lady was ‘silenced.’

Anyway thanks to an interview Diamond Platnumz did with Mrishompoto the Bongo singer admits to having a fourth baby with a lady from his past.

Although he clearly doesn’t remember his baby mamas name, Diamond Platnumz says that his friends also told him about his child who apparently looks like him.

However after trying to reach out trying to meet his baby, the mother told him that the baby had travelled to Japan; and since then the child’s mother disappeared from his life.

Former news anchor Janet Mbugua recently welcomed her second born child called Mali. Thanks to a video shared on her YouTube channel we understand that she gave birth via C-section; just like her first baby boy Huru.

However in the vlog Janet Mbugua says that she had earlier prepared for a normal birth; but after having series of long contractions for almost 10 hours, she then opted for surgery.

Just like most new mums, Janet Mbugua reveals that she had quite a challenging time breastfeeding her newborn the first 3 days. She went on to reveal saying;

I’m still having breastfeeding struggles but I’m trying for it not to get to me because even last time it took about three days for the milk to flow,”

Anyway baby Mali is doing great as far as we know and we can’t wait to see his face soon!

Despite having maintained a low profile after breaking up with Hamisa Mobetto; seems like Diamond Platnumz is not done calling out the young mum.

This has been proven in a new video shared by the singer as he tries to promote a new song dubbed Nitake Nini by WCB’s LavaLava.

Diamond Platnumz is seen singing along to the song – but what caught many people’s attention are the lyrics in the first verse; which are apparently aimed at Hamisa Mobetto.

Hamisa accused the of practicing black magic

Although her name is not mentioned in the song – this song might have been recorded to troll her. This comes a few weeks after Diamond Platnumz came out to expose Hamisa Mobetto for allegedly practicing witchcraft.

Apparently this is after Mama Dangote came across some audios of Hamisa Mobetto asking a witch doctor to make it easy for her to get married to Diamond Platnumz.

With this information out, Diamond Platnumz and his family have made it there mission to embarrass Mobetto. Well if you think otherwise then read the lyrics below

MC Jessy and Shix Kapienga’s relationship over? Meet the new man who proposed to the young lady

Unlike most celebrities in the enter Industry, MC Jessy and Shix Kapienga have managed to keep their relationship on the low; making it hard to tell how they are fairing on.

From what we know is that MC Jessy allegedly left the mother of his son to be with Shix Kapienga. Although there must be more reasons as to why he left, we are still yet to find out.

A photo of a man carrying a huge ugali during the recent demolishion at Kilimani by Nairobi County enforcement officers has left many entertained.

The photos, taken by Daily Nation’s photographer Evans Habil, has left social media in a buzz of how the man carried the Ugali from a kibanda as strangers watched.

It’s okay now

Over 100 illegal structures were demolished in the sting operation by the enforcement unit and people were looting all kind of things. This man however, went direct for the ugali ignoring other valuables.

NYS suspect Ngirita: Cop framed us after I declined his offer to buy me Black Label Whisky

NYS scandal suspect and now center of attention, Ann Wambere Ngirita and other three family members have come out to shockingly share that an officer framed them after Ann said no to his sexual advances.

The family which is among 43 other suspects implicated in the NYS scandal, claim that the officer wanted to buy Whiskey but they denied.

Four members of the Ngirita family – Jeremiah Ngichini Ngirita, Ann Wambere Ngirita, Phylis Njeri and their mother Lucy Ngirita, have been accused of defrauding the NYS in excess of Sh100 million.

Ngichini said that chief investigating officer Mike Julius Kingoo Muia implicated them in the scam to settle personal scores after they cut business ties with him.

“I together with Mike Julius Kingoo Muia have been carrying out business of supplying hardware and renovating facilities at the National Youth Service in Gilgil,” Ngichini said in an affidavit sworn on June 7.

He went on to narrate that the meeting was in Langata and that the officer wanted to buy them Black Label whiskey which they declined. He also wanted to bed Ann.

“After our business and relationship went soar, Mike Julius Kingoo Muia vowed to use his position to fight our family. At the meeting, he suggested that we should proceed to his residence to take refreshments which we declined. He then told us that he would take the statement of Ms Wambere Ngirita at his residence alone as they enjoy “Black Label Whisky which we declined.”he said.

“Muia assigned himself to write the statement of Ms Wambere and the said taking of statement lasted from 9am to 3pm where they constantly disagreed as a result of his sexual advances to her.”

“The cause of all the allegations against me and my family is due to the business disagreements between Mike Julius Kingoo Muia and ourselves. All the said allegations are totally false and malicious.”

Retired President Mwai Kibaki’s grandson Sean Andrew has made it to the headlines yet again after publicly pouring his heart out to his lover.

Sean took to Instagram to pen a lovely message to his lover as they celebrated their first year anniversary.

“I remember the first time we met, I promised myself I wouldn’t fall in love with you. It was 2 am and we were laughing way too hard, and I felt happy for the first time in a long time, and I knew I was screwed. And now if I know what love is, it’s because of you. Popular DJ Kalonje father Stephen Waweru has been laid to rest. Waweru passed on May 14 after a long illness.

Kalonje took to Instagram to thank Kenyans for the support during the tough times.

“I just want to thank everyone who has been supporting us ever since my dad left us, we were overwhelmed by your love and support. On behalf of the Waweru Family we just want to thank you all. God bless you all. ???” he said.

Kenyans have been angered by a lady who put down a young man for living in a bedsitter and having ‘low standards’.

The two, who were on a date organised by Ebru TV, were having a light meal trying to establish some connection.

Boy child couldn’t what the slay queen was asking.
