Bien Aime and Chiki Kuruka are what people refer to as couple goals! This couple is also one of the very few that most young people look up to and admire thanks to how real they are.

So far the couple is yet to announce a date for their wedding after almost one year of being engaged. For those who have forgotten, Bien Baraza and Chiki Kuruka got engaged on 28th February 2019, in a well planned surprise occasion at the Westgate Mall in front of friends and family.

However, it seems that even after 4 years of dating and 1 year of being engaged – the couple is still not in a hurry to exchange their vows!

Jolene aka Jackie Matubia will no longer be part of TV show Chatspot aired on Switch Tv Kenya.

The mother of one announced this through her social media page where she confirming the rumors making rounds online.

The Citizen TV’s media personality announced this through his Instagram page where he opened up about the complications that led to his baby’s death.

From his post, Willis Raburu says that his daughter was the most beautiful baby he had ever set his eyes on – even though it was just for a short while. He went on to write;

The official heir of Ivan Ssemwanga’s properties finally named

The Ssemwanga’s family has finally named the rightful owner of their late son’s property as reported by several tabloids.

According to the reports making rounds on social media, Pinto Ntale who is Zari’s and Ivan Ssemwanga’s eldest family has been named as the official heir of his late dad’s properties.

Apparently this decision was made just recently during a family meeting that went down at the late Ivan’s home in Kayunga District Nakaliro village,Uganda.

As reported, the decision was apparently made by Ivan’s clan who saw it was best for Pinto to take over his late dad’s properties especially since he is almost an adult.

This is also the main reason why Zari and her two sons Raphael Junior and LilQ Quincy flew to Uganda during the festive season. Pinto is however said to have stayed back in South Africa due to some immigration problems.

Speaking to the media, Pinto’s uncle opened up saying;

“Msiniletee negative energy hapa!” Betty Kyallo finally speaks

News anchor Betty Kyallo has finally come out to respond to the negative comments and statements she has been receiving after posting her daughter’s story on her Instagram page.

In her post, the mother of one went on to narrate how her daughter suffered from a condition known as ADEM (acute disseminated encephalomyelitis) which affected baby Ivanna’s brain and spinal cord.

The media personality went on to add that her daughter was later admitted to the ICU but through it all she (Ivanna) walked out alive and continues to get better. Betty wrote;

As another year once again comes to an end I can’t help but reflect and look back as this year has been a special one; difficult and extremely challenging to me and my family. It took a lot of convincing for me to share what I am about to share due to its sensitivity and privacy in nature, however I feel I won’t have done my duty to thank God for not abandoning us If I decide to be silent about it. If at the end of this message I will give heart to someone going through the same challenge, anxiety, fear and Loneliness I’ll sleep better. Early this year my sweet lovely daughter Ivanna was diagnosed with a rare autoimmune disease. It was marked by a sudden widespread attack of inflammation in the Brain and spinal cord called ADEM (acute disseminated encephalomyelitis)
Basically this disease damages the protective coating of the nerve fibers called myelin that act as conducters to all muscles for basic human functionality. What this means is that one day my beautiful four year old daughter stopped walking, soon stopped talking, soon stopped eating soon was so drowsy couldn’t keep her eyes open and thereafter went into a deep coma that she had to be taken to ICU and put on life suppport for a whole month.  For the Larger part of her diagnosis doctors couldn’t even figure out what was wrong with her. We did numerous tests looking at every organ and blood but for a long time of hospitalization in Nairobi Hospital Children’s ward we couldn’t find it. All the while she kept deteriorating every day losing one function after another. Today she could talk the next day she couldn’t make a sentence. Etc. Thanks to God and the brilliant doctors that were so kind and gracious in their work and how they diligently treated my daughter especially Dr Ismail primary ICU pediatric carer for my daughter, the overall lead Neurologist carer Dr Oyatsi and ICU nurses, Ward doctors and nurses we finally found a name to what was eating her. ADEM. As a mother this was my lowest time, I was crushed every day seeing my daughter wasting away and Couldn’t do anything. Full post on my Verified Facebook Fan page BETTY KYALLO. In the post, Betty Kyallo narrated how she faced a tough year but all in all was grateful to have made it this far. However turns out that Ken Mijungu felt that Betty Kyallo should have at least thanked Dennis Okari and his wife who also joined them at the hospital and even contributed some money to baby Ivanna’s hospital bill.

Aslay treats us to another love song dubbed “Mateka” and we love it

For a guy that has been in the limelight for so long, I would say his consistency is admirable. Aslay has now brought us another love song dubbed “Mateka”.

The Tanzanian superstar has been keen to remain relevant in the ever-changing music industry. Lucky enough Aslay has been able to treat his fans to approximately two songs monthly. If you ask me I think some Kenyan artists should copy this trait.

Anyway, Mateka by Aslay is another serenade that has a man expressing his feelings to the love of his life. Mateka in simply means “Hostage”-My Swahili teacher must be proud.

He says the kind of love he feels him makes him feel like a hostage in love. However, he ain’t complaining just that he never imagined he’d be in love to that extent.

Especially when he says,Upendo umevuka kina Nina wivu mpaka roho inauma Iwe Japan au China Weka gundi baby tutagandana eh(My love has gone beyond the borders and the jealousy makes my heart hurt weather in Japan or China we going to paste with glue so we can stick together)

Clearly Aslay did justice to the song’s lyrics as he knows how to deliver to his audience. I mean who said RnB cannot be done in Swahili? In fact, it’s sassier.

Video and Production

The Destro directed song is clearly beautifully and artistically done. From the beginning incorporation of the vintage set and decor was a perfect blend to the song.

The best part about his music is that he never adopts too many activities in the production making it easy to watch and enjoy the jam as you carry on with your business.

For that, we appreciate. As we dance to this big tune and ending the year remember Aslay has just reminded us how important love is.

So let’s welcome 2020 with love.

Ken Mijungu steps in to defend Dennis Okari after fans bash him for being an “irresponsible father” following his daughter’s illness

News anchor Betty Kyallo has every reason to be grateful for having been blessed with a beautiful daughter, Ivanna.

Well, as the year comes to an end Betty Kyallo decided to write down a long post to give thanks for her daughter’s life following a life threatening illness that saw her get admitted at the ICU ward.

The post however did not please Ken Mijungu who is best friends to Dennis Okari – Ivanna’s dad. According to Mijungu, Betty Kyallo painted her baby daddy as an irresponsible father since she did not mention him anywhere in her post.

In a detailed post shared by Ken Mijungu he wrote saying;

Yesterday I went to sleep with a heavy heart. I read a post by my colleague Betty. While she has the right to post anything about Ivanna and her challenges this year and thank God for it, she inevitably and deliberately exposed my best friend Dennis as an irresponsible father.

Ken Mijungu went on explain that fans bashed Okari for no reason since they did not get to hear Okari’s side of the story.

From the responses, you guys have bashed Deno for no reason and I know Betty will not correct it so I will. Betty be honest, Okari and even Naomi were there for Ivanna from the day we learnt of her illness and were by her side day and night.

In the post, Ken Mijungu goes on to add that Okari and his wife helped in raising money to offset Ivanna’s hospital bill that cost around Ksh 7 million.

For every single day that followed from that day on Okari was at the hospital day and night with his daughter. We raised funds to offset a 7M + bill. Okari only came to work when he could and our boss understood for all those months. To deliberately paint him as irresponsible is immoral my friend. You don’t have to correct the impression you have created because the Somali guy is by your side but at-least be honest. You don’t need to thank Okari and Ivanna’s grand parents who visited and prayed with her but at least be honest about it. Ivanna opened her eyes on the 9th of April and we thank God for the miracle

After break up with Juma Juxx, singer Vanessa Mdee finally moved on with star actor, Rotimi from TV series ‘Power’ months later and the two seem to getting quite serious.

Thanks to a few photos shared by MillardAyo on his social media pages we now understand that Vanessa Mdee and her boyfriend are currently in Tanzania for a short visit.

Although word has it that they will be performing at a New Year’s Eve gig tonight – fans can’t help but wonder whether they will be paying Vanessa’s family a visit.

Well thanks to several gossip tabloids it has also been confirmed that by the time the two love birds were arriving in Tanzania – Vanessa Mdee’s ex, Juma Juxx had already left the country to an unknown destination.

“He is a criminal! A conman!” Comedian Oga Obinna exposes his former friend

Comedian cum radio presenter Oga Obinna is one angry man after being conned some large amount of money by a man he once referred to as his close friend.

The comedian revealed this through his Instagram page where he shared a well detailed post explaining his situation with one, Robert Ouko.

According to Obinna, this man has been using excuses to con people around and before realizing about his so called friend – the comedian had been vouching for him only to end up as a victim of the scam!

The above person is a criminal. He is a Conman pretending to be a debt collector. If you have any dealings with him stop them immediately. Always soft spoken and pretends to be a good human. It’s sad that the same people you think you are helping are the same ones who turn out to be snakes. I’ve known this fellow for quite a number of years and he is always asking for small amounts for small emergencies from “my daughter is sick,my mum is sick,my rent etc and I always come through for him as I do for many others as well….I personally recommended jobboz for him and always wondered why there were complaints from differentpeople and I always vouched for him.

According to Obinna, his main reason for reaching out to Robert Ouko was to get help with his money since the person he had lent it to had been dodging him. Obinna went on to say;

So finally about 3 months ago I gave him a task to recover a huge sum of money from some importer guy who owed me. Nigga went took the cash and kept quiet????????????????????????????. I decided to go arrest the importer guy only to be given receipts of this nigga being paid the whole amount ????????. Calling “my friend” , nigga doesnt pick calls, so I texted him that I have information he got the doe, nigga started complaints…”oooh I’m sorry I got your cash but used it for I had an emergency blah blah..????????????????????I’ll be paying you back in small instalments over a period of time”????????????????(he wasn’t paid back my money in small instalments rem,it was a lump sum) So I decided to talk to our friend who introduced us so as to confirm is he really had an emergency and really needed the mulla only for him to also complain of a number of times he has been personally conned and a number of people that have been complaining about this same individual “our friend”.

Sadly, seems like the comedian ended up with the real conman on his corner.

Turns out that Wema Sepetu’s new post caught the eye of one Khloe Kardashian who couldn’t help but leave a comment on the video which seems to be receiving love from her fans.
