Singer Bahati is contemplating on switching back to Gospel music. The renowned singer started his musical career as a gospel artist.
Bahati did quite well; and was among the best musicians while at it.
But the singer decided to call it quits on making gospel music.
According to the singer, he fasted for days before he switched from the gospel industry to secular music. Bahati explained why he did not involve any religious person while making his decisions.
“When I was switching my music, I had problems with Kabi Wa Jesus. When I did the song, ‘Wanani’, I did not wait for any pastor to tell me what I was doing is right or wrong. I wanted God to tell me himself, God speaks to all of us,” he said.
Bahati went on to say that after the three days of fasting, he was at peace with his next move.
The singer has now hinted on going back. He engaged his fans via Instagram;

Andrew Kibe has raised a well-deserved criticism about former gospel singer and social media influencer Bahati. Which many other men have pointed at and is something that he needs to work on especially given his political ambitions.

What’s today the most is the fact that though he’s a gospel artist and some of the singers he had collaborated with a doing phenomenally well, none of them has reached out to him to try and help him despite him putting out feelers for the same. He also opened up about his relationship with Bahati and he spoke of whether or not he has attempted to reach out to Bahati. And from the look of things Peter Blessing is unwilling to do so citing past experiences with the artist.

And Bahati has now announced his intent to vie for the Mathare parliamentary seat during the next general elections but it remains to be seen whether or not he will be successful even in the nomination process.
Bahati is among the numerous artists who are known for their clout chasing tactics; not forgetting his wife Diana Marua.
Bahati & his wife Diana are always ready to take netizens for a ride just to chase clout. Several weeks ago, Bahati deleted everything from his Instagram; to insinuate that he was undergoing depression or something. It was all for clout. He resurfaced with the song ‘Mhesh’. The song was greatly publicized by him and his wife Diana.
Bahati has done several collaborations with International artists. He recently announced the biggest collabo of his life with a popular American female rapper Nicki Minaj.
Taking to his Instagram stories Bahti has posted that the collabo has been confirmed and that it will be released in 2023.
However, netizens have not bought Bahati’s sentiments on the collabo; bearing in mind that the singer is known to be a mere clout chaser. Some have viewed it as another tactic to push his upcoming project. Nicki Minaj probably doesn’t even recognize him, or his songs. Additionally, netizens believe Bahati hasn’t reached such a point to get a collabo with a star like Nicki Minaj. Kenyan music has generally not reached such a height as only a handful of musicians have made it big.

Any for those who have been wondering about Bahati’s past – allow me to narrate his story that is judging from his latest interview with Wifey, Diana Marua on her show dubbed tell-all. Speaking about his painful past, Bahati said;
My mum and dad lived in Huruma, I have seen the good and bad times of Mathare. I remember I was six years old when I lost my mum. I was going to class one…it was on Christmas day. I think losing a mum changes everything. She was my only source of hope and the other alternative was to be left upcountry after her burial.

As a young boy with no mum to depend on, Bahati said his life flipped from bad to worse. Who was he going to depend on? How was life going to be bearable without the woman that made everything better even during hard and bad times?
This is a question that lingered in his mind for long but through it all; Bahati says he was determined to get back to the city, hoping that one day things would look up for him.
So after the burial, I cried hard so I wouldn’t be left in Ukambani. I entered the pick-up that ferried my mother’s body to Makueni to come back to Nairobi. I had to come to the city and try my luck.

According to Bahati, he lost his mum due to lack of proper health care – something that often happens in the ghetto areas where getting Medicare is not priority but a luxury to those who can afford.
And according to Bahati, this is something his mum couldn’t access due to poverty; but now that he wants to join politics – probably life might just change for people in the Mathare area.

Being one with zero chills, Noti Flow dropped a savage comment at fans who kept comparing Baba Heaven’s look to that of Bongo singer Diamond Platnumz.
