Natalie Tewa has been making headlines regards her alleged secret love affair with Hassan Joho after Edgar Obare’s exposés which have now landed him in hot soup as the reports take a legal turn.

Yesterday, speculations were rife that the Mombasa Governor had bought her baby Katerina – Tewa a posh Audi A3 that cost him upwards of KSh 3 million.

Well, your guess is as good as mine, it was all about Natalie Tewa’s issue.

Otile Brown has had enough of trolls always looking to splash his name with mud and this time, he has declared he will table none of it!

The light skin lad had trended for a while over couple of entanglements that ended a fail before hinting at a possible reunion with ex, Nabayet.

Unfortunately, he has since gone quiet and his critics are not amused, now dragging his name in all sorts of controversies.

The RnB star has declared war on his trolls always craving for his drama which he termed “Nonsense!”

As we continue to pay tribute to Sir Charles Bukeko, as we continue to honor his legacy, only his widow, Beatrice Andega Afwai lives to tell what actually transpired before and during the fateful day.

Up and close on Churchill Television, the humble mother of 3 vividly recounted the turn of events that saw Papa lose his battle in this life.

Turns out, the last 2/3 weeks Papa was actually working day and night in Karen, Nairobi in collaboration with Safaricom, without going home.

He then made it home on Saturday but he was not feeling well a day later.

Come Sunday he says “I’m feeling cold, I’m worried”. But then I told him, if it’s cold, he has been in Karen and it’s so cold there.

So Beatrice advised her husband to have tests done on him to establish the root cause of his illness.

But my first point was, can you go for a test and make sure those tests are three; Pneumonia, Malaria and Covid-19. Covid because he has been mingling with a lot of people then the other two because it has been too cold and the symptoms are similar.

Sad goodbyes

Monday, tests were conducted, Tuesday Papa speculated that the three tests had been done only for one test to come back from hospital on Wednesday – that of Covid.

Unfortunately, unknown to his wife and children, his days on earth had lapsed.

From that time on, he took us out of the room and told us to ensure we don’t get close to him and we wear masks. But Friday, I noticed he was having trouble breathing and asked to rush him to the hospital. I just don’t know how fast the weakness got into him…

Yesterday, during his InstaLive session, fans were quick to notice an unidentified lass lying on the sofa at his home, in the middle of the night.

Now, barely a week after getting exposed for sliding into one Shakilah’s DM, Pozze’s habit seems hard to die following Edgar Obare’s recent exposés.

So Pozze hit up one chick for a meet up only to say she is based in Dubai ad Pozze admitted that is too far.

He asked for photos of the lass before declining just in case it was a hacker but she eventually shared.

The two argued for a while before Pozze was thirsting over her and she called it quits, ending ugly.

Second case

Next case, the singer DMed a chick they had not been in communication with for a while after he lost her number only to run back when he needed her.

Third case

The other case was actually a lady who was trying to promote her sauna business only for a thirsty Pozze to ask her to either bring the sauna to his home or meet up at his studio, before making sexual advances at her.

Fans were both irked by Willy Paul and by these women for accepting his DMs if they know what kind of history he has.

Some felt the chicks needed not complain if they accepted his offers and went along with the conversation. Meanwhile, a section attacked the artist for his untamed behavior towards random women.

Breaking the news during a recent interview, the father of 4 clarified he sings for God and not for man and he is therefore not here to meet anyone´s standards.

Up and close on Jessy Junction, Bahati stated that leaving gospel music did not mean his faith and belief in God had withered, actually the two have since bonded the more.

The Gospel is Christ, I have Christ in my heart and I believe in God and he is the reason I’m at the top. I cannot leave Christ but the gospel industry is rotten.

Taking us back to their dating days, the two revealed they went out on several occasions but Diana, having this mentality of not dating men younger than her, took Bahati as her younger brother.

At the time, Diana was a party girl while Bahati was a born again Christian so every time after their date, the singer would say a prayer for her.

When I met him, I was actually the girl of the world, I was making it happen, I was making it rain.

The love spark between Mombasa Governor Joho and travel vlogger, Natalie Tewa is getting hotter by the day after allegedly gifting her a sleek German ride weeks after calling her his baby Katerina.

What sparked off speculations that these two are an item is when Tewa born Wanjiku Githinji, stepped out in a bright yellow long dress and captioned ¨baby Katerina¨ only for Joho to be spotted singing along to a jam with exactly the same words, bragging about his new catch.

Well, so now, Natalie reportedly bagged herself a sleek, grey Audi A3 whose price range is about 1.5-2 million in the local market and 3.3 million for a brand new 2020 Audi A3.

What has fueled the reports further were the plates on the ride that ended with ¨001A¨, according to screenshots shared on Edgar Obare’s timeline. And it just never got better!

Many cannot believe that funny man cum actor Papa Shirandula is no more. It has been almost a week now but fans, friends and family still cannot imagine that he will never talk or crack jokes with him.

According to reports the actor allegedly passed on after contracting Covid-19; but his wife’s eulogy seemed to say something different. Anyway, what matters is that Papa Shirandula is now rested and will not have to suffer like he did before his untimely!

Even with the actor gone, we can’t help but share some of the beautiful memories he left behind. One of the special moments we wish to share are photos from his lit wedding that wedding just a few years ago!

How he met his wife

Speaking during a recent interview with Churchill, Papa’s wife Beatrice opened up revealing how they met. According to the lady, they met back in 2004 when the late actor visited some friends near her home area.

I met him in 2004 when he was just visiting some friends and pastors around the area we used to live. We started meeting and talking and one time he came through the pastor asking for my consent; and the relationship took pff from there. He took me to Busia and I met his family.

From how his wife described their life together; we can confirm that the two genuinely loved each other hence the 16 years they lived together as man and wife! However now that he is gone, all Beatrice can do is pray for her late husband’s soul.

Frankie Just Gym It opens up on long battle with rare skin condition since birth

Frankie Just Gym It so happens to have random white patches of skin all over his body that are a bit subtle but curious fans compelled him to open up about his skin defect.

Many might not have taken note of Frankie’s inconsistent skin color especially when he steps out shirtless but those that did, saw him start a whole new discussion on the same.

Through his vlog, the fitness enthusiast talked of battling a condition, Vitiligo that he has had to live with since his birth, where the skin loses its pigment cells in patches, such that there are darker and lighter parts on his body.

I have these white patches everywhere, from my neck to my chest even my arm, pretty much every part of my body is covered with it. It’s called vitiligo meaning there is not enough melanin in certain sections of my body.

Clarifying:

It’s something I was born with, no cure, not a disease or illness, not something that hurts…no! It’s just a pigmentation defect. Literally, I have it all over my face but you can’t see it unless you put the black light on.

Living with it

Funny enough, every year, some patches pop up in different parts of his body but a bit bigger. When he tried to inquire about his condition from his mom, she interestingly told him God was not able to decide whether he should be black or white.

So apparently, Frankie noticed his skin defect just about 3/4 years ago when a lady DM-ed him on Instagram telling him how proud she is to see him showcase his body despite the imperfections.

Only for him to dive into research to understand his condition.

I just thought it was birthmarks because I never really thought much into it until I researched and got acquainted with. If you get it at an older age, that’s when it’s dangerous, causing diabetes and all…

However, he is not the only one battling the condition with several other notable figures in the world having had it including the late pop star, Michael Jackson.

Betty Kyallo has joined the list of celebrities to experience what ‘makeup fails’ looks like; and thanks to a photo shared by blogger Obare, we can all agree that BK’s make up artist failed her failed badly this past weekend.

Judging from the photo making rounds on social media, BK appears to have used a lighter shade of foundation on her face; hence looking like a birthday clown on the selfie she took with a fan.

Judging from the environment the photo was taken from we can confirm that clubbing on the has now become a thing in Nairobi; and the funny part is that most of the celebrities are on the forefront of the party life!

Comedian Njoro’s public appeal for financial aid finally gets answered

Just a week after Churchill show comedian Njoro came public about 3 suicidal attempts, his dad’s tough battle with cancer and no job, Kenyans eventually landed him an opportunity.

Project Afya has now come to the aid of the financially-burdened comedian, promising to now take care of all his dad’s medical bills, giving him a big sigh of relief.

Breaking the news, the young artist born George Maina Njoroge announced that the non-profit organization had come through for him and his family and he could not thank Kenyans enough.

This comes just a few days after actor Papa Shirandula was laid to rest in his Busia home. However, there are those who felt the need of criticizing Njoro’s dress code; claiming he is poor and has been struggling like most of the comedians we come to hear of.

Gengetone artiste Zzero Sufuri was involved in a grisly road accident that has seen him get hospitalized, nursing a broken arm among other injuries.

Friday, July 24, the rapper was part of a motorcycle crush around Kibera Area that fractured one of his bones, demanding immediate medical attention.

He was rushed to St Peter’s Orthopedic Hospital in Uthiru, Kiambu county.

Breaking the news, Zzero Sufuri spotted with a heavily bandaged arm, revealed he had undergone an internal fixation surgery which came out a success.

Sadly, he was set to be discharged but due to pending hospital bills, he was held back pleading with Kenyans to help him foot the sum for his release.

Barely 2 months after Size 8 complained about her sex life with DJ Mo; the couple is back with yet another drama aired during their Dine with Murayas show.

This time around DJ Mo complained about his wife nagging the life out of him! According to the gospel DJ his wife can’t go an hour or two without calling him non stop.

For this reason, Baba Muraya Jnr now feels that his marriage is somehow not working; all thanks to his wife’s nagging behavior.

Do other men go through the same thing ama ni mimi tu? I was telling a friend of mine that marriage is starting to feel like a lot of work.

Size 8 explains herself

In her defense Size 8 says she has her own reasons as to why she keeps calling her man whenever he steps out. Unlike most women, the mother of 2 admits to being insecure which then leads to trust issues!

The reason why I call him that much is because I have my own reasons. The truth is I have been doing all he is accusing me of. There are times when paranoia, lack of security and lack of trust hits me.

Judging from some of the things the two brought up during the show, it appears that all is not well! At some point Size 8 shares her fear of having to go through a divorce.

The singer goes on to open up about sleepless nights now that her heart is not at peace. She goes on to add;

I was not calling him to offend him. Sometimes my heart is not at peace. I love my husband and the thought of divorce is giving me sleepless nights and I do not want it in my house.

Numbers are multiplying by the day in Kenya’s newsrooms as more journalists come out to test positive for Coronavirus since the month started.

First was Citizen TV journalist Stephen Letoo then his colleague Jeff Koinange and soon after media houses in the country got alarmed that more of their journalists might have actually contracted the disease from interactions.

Mass testing was done across the board and the most recent Covid-19 statistics have put NTV and BBC in the limelight as two more journalists test positive.

The strikingly beautiful NTV’s Jamdown show host, Miss Katiwa broke the news to fans over the weekend, compelling her to isolate even though she has been responding well so far.

My beautiful people, I got tested for COVID 19 and MY results came ,am POSITIVE for COVID 19,I have been in isolation and I am doing great, I didn’t show signs at fst but later on they started appearing, my family is well informed about it and am sure am going to come out strong.

NTV’s Miss Katiwa tests positive for Covid-19

The most recent case is BBC journalist Ian Wafula who opened up about his condition that has been around for a while, being asymptomatic in the first week before signs started showing the following week.

Got my results earlier today and I tested positive for COVID19. Have spent the last 4 months covering the pandemic and even did a story on “Do you know somebody?” Well now I do. I remember last week Monday feeling slight headaches, itchy throat, slight chest pain and lack of taste but that was it.

He has since left hospital for home-based care.

Dr. Wasike here is a gem; treated me with utmost care. Told me how to take care of myself moving forward and she had been very calm and professional. Amidst the era of digital media coupled with Coronavirus’ harsh conditions, online media platforms have become the run to source of income as majority seek refuge online as their last remaining hope.

Celebrities most especially have turned to YouTube and Instagram to source their daily bread, whether production of documentaries, drama or reality shows.

Unfortunately, its has not proven an easy time between Raych Gitau, the WaJesus family and the Terence Creative’s who have clashed after Raych’s YouTube cooking show got hacked last week by someone she knows.

Fans quickly speculated Milly Chebby and WaJesus family as key suspects before Raych cleared the WaJesus family, leaving the Terence’s as the possible suspects.

This did not however go well with the Terence’s who have called out Raych and her husband for failing to clear their name amidst brutal trolls.

Up on YouTube, Milly could not hold back her tears after her eyes grew heavy just thinking how someone she mentored and brought into the light, could dare hit back at her like that.

No phone calls were made, no questions asked, no clarification sought from the Terence couple’s by Raych and this hurt them to bits!

It didn’t hurt me as much at the beginning but what really hurt me most towards the end is how Raych did an Instastory only clearing the WaJesus family but not us. If you really suspected it’s us, why don’t you even call us or DM us and ask us? People pushed you to clear our name in the comment section but you only deleted the comments.

Milly immediately got trolled, cyberbullied and body shamed by trolls, labeling the couple “thieves”, “hackers” and all other unkind names.

I was called a “hippo”, “pig”..why? It is very painful! I did not hack Raych’s account we didn’t even know about it. I have not been at peace at all and I hope this really makes you happy! Let me categorically say, Raych I’m not competing with you, this space is enough for all of us. You should have just protected our brand just like you would protect yours. Thanks to everyone who supported us. I hope after this peace will prevail.

Babu Owino this past weekend gave Kenyans on social media a show that many will never forget.

For the first time the Embakasi East legislator narrated how his childhood in Nyalenda slums, Kisumu County was; as well as blaming it for his current violent behavior!

Turns out that Babu Owino did not have the usual normal childhood as his mother sold Chang’aa; an illicit brew, just to make ends meet.

Being the breadwinner of the family meantshe had no option but to hustle for her child! Speaking through his social media pages, Babu Owino opened up saying;

Today I have decided to talk to fellow Kenyans heart-to-heart and in the course of my duties I have been engaging you on various platforms on social media and I sense your anger. I sense that some of you are hurt and some are disappointed with me. I am a human being like you,

About his mother, being among those who sold the illicit brew meant that their family often faced police brutality; and even at some point Babu went on to reveal that he watched them whip his mum.

My mother sold chang’aa. She did not sell chang’aa because she wanted to but because she wanted us to go to school and to get the best services. Police harassment was real, and I witnessed them whipping my mother

Being a common drink in most slums, Babu says kids get to taste it when they are quite young; and since no one is around to observe what happens, Babu says he then got to have his first Chang’aa at the age of 8 years. He opened up saying;

At around eight years, I tasted chang’aa. I did it because it was what everyone was doing around, and it was the normal thing to do. Out of influence, I had to take chang’aa. Since then I have been taking alcohol.

He however claims to have quit alcohol for a few months now; but we also can’t help but think this might just be another stunt especially now that many have been demanding for DJ Evolve to get justice!

In Machakos now stands a spectacular, unique architectural art of a hotel dubbed A&L (from the couple’s initials) hotel, courtesy of its Governor, Alfred Mutua.

Marking it’s much-awaited completion, Mutua took the opportunity to invite Kenyans to the hotel’s grand opening today, July 24.

The Kenyan entertainment industry is in mourning again, after one of it’s funniest actors passed on following a short illness.

Mzee Kihara was a sensation to many, his appearances on our local screens especially if you were a regular viewer of the longtime drama series, Vitimbi and the most recent Hullabaloo, then you know just how much talent we have lost as a country.

The revered actor sadly passed on Thursday, July 23 after losing the battle against pneumonia.

Also known for his mark in the TV comedy Jungu Kuu, Kihara is reported to have breathed his last while receiving treatment at an undisclosed hospital where he had been admitted.

Vitimbi, Hullabaloo Estate and the Kenyan space at large, has indeed lost a talent! This comes just after Papa Shirandula was laid to rest just Monday, July 20.

Terence Creative and his wife Milly Chebby enjoy parading their daughter on social media; and for some reason fans feel that the comedian neglects the other children he had with his ex wife.

This conversation was however sparked thanks to a comment made by Milly Chebby who was interacting with one of her fans. The fan went on to ask whether Terence had been denied access to his children; or was it her (Milly) keeping the comedian away from the kids to which Milly responded saying;

TV girl, Yvonne Okwara has been missing on our screens for the last 2 weeks and speculations were rife what the reason must have been. However, she has come out to shed light.

Yvonne who has been known for her popular Citizen TV Thursday night show News Gang, has been conspicuously missing for the last 2 weeks, leaving Kenyans worried.

She just resurfaced, explaining that she had to step back and look after her mind and body, reason being she just underwent a spinal surgery.

Long battle

Unknown to many, the TV sensation has been battling slip discs in her lower spine for a solid 2 years now, that have not only caused her excruciating pain but a persistent one.

Pain, that she had to bear with before our screens and while with her friends – a pain only known to her. More often than not, she put on her brave face but only she knew what she was really going through.

Putting on a brave face at work, with friends and how it changes your life, the mind and how exhausting and limiting it is. Always lurking in the background as you try to go about with your life. One day I’ll write about what it’s like living with chronic pain. Every day.

She tried to hold it together, to bear the pain, to wait just a little longer with hope that it would soon be gone, but even drugs proved weak, physiotherapy was not working at all and she decided it was time she had that spinal surgery done.
