Former Machachari actor Almasi also known as Ian Nene has been on a spiritual journey as he tries his true purpose on earth. This comes months after hinting that he was part of the LGBT community that seems to have embraced back in the UK where he was schooling.
Part of the new changes are his buddhist monk religion. As seen on his social media pages, Ian Nene seems at peace and contented the man he has since become.
However we cannot say the same for his fans who continue to follow up with the former actor despite quitting his acting career. Most of his Kenyan fans seem worried for the young man; as they have never witnessed such ‘spiritual’ callings especially in the African setup!
The dictionary describes a monk as a person who decides to dedicate his life to serving all other living beings; or to be an ascetic who voluntarily chooses to leave mainstream society and live his or her life in prayer and contemplation.

Akothee is quite angry with Radio Jambo’s Massawe Japanni who recently interviewed one of her daughters, Vesha Okello. Judging from the personal questions the radio presenter was hitting Vesha with, one may assume that Japanni had other intentions.
However it appears that Akothee finally came across some of the stories highlighting some of the topics Jappani and Vesha were discussing on the interview. One was about her parents (Akothee and Jared) splitting up and how it affected their family.
Any other person would have thought that the questions were harmless; however Akothee and other parents will not agree to such!
This is because some of these topics may bring back ugly memories; and in Vesha’s case – one can clearly tell that she quite personality may have been caused with the trauma of her parents separating.
Having come across the various stories shared online, Akothee has now come out to defend her babies! As seen on the several posts shared on her page; the mother of 5 not only bashed Jappani for being insensitive; but halted insults that will probably leave the lass thinking twice!

Anytime you call any of my children for an interview, stick to the questions you said you will ask . My parents separated when I was in class four. I could not understand why they had to break up. One day they were arguing and I locked them up in a room and told them I would not open until they reconciled. I used to see on TV that divorced parents could still work out, so I didn’t understand why mine were not making things work.
So apparently after the argument, her hot headed mum decided to park up and leave. For 2 months Akothee did not communicate with anyone back at home nor did she ask about the kids!
My mum left and never communicated at all, no one knew where she was. We did not hear from her for like two months, my dad then left us with his mother and went to look for a job,”

According to Vesha at some point she even started feeling like an orphan thanks to the way she was being treated!
I used to feel like an orphan. I would mop the house and an uncle of mine would come with muddy shoes and dirt the house. So I had to mop again. She then sent my aunt Cebbie to come and pick us up and we joined her (mum) in Nairobi.

In the well detailed interview, Vesha went on to reveal that after all these years; her dad has never come out clean on why he separated from their mum, Akothee.
I felt like I could not forgive him but my mum kept telling me that he was still my dad and I had to forgive him. At the time I felt like he was the problem. All this time he never explained why they were arguing in front of us. To date, he has never explained why the two divorced
But right now we are very good friends. We talk and he advises me, now that I’m grown up I understand things better.”
Despite everything she went through including a DNA test being carried on her daughter to confirm Mueni is Bahati’s child; the young mum still allowed herself to forgive in order to have a fresh start.

Joseph Irungu aka Jowie Irungu was held behind bars for 500 days. This is after he was named as a suspect in the murder of Monica Njeri; that occurred in September 26, 2018.

Dennis oliech and his family are currently in mourning after losing their dear brother, Kevin Opiyo Oliech. As reported the young man is said to have succumbed to cancer after years and months of battling it with different medications.
However on Sunday 16, August Kevin Opiyo Oliech lost his battle; but also won in a way as he was now in a better place, with no pain or suffering. His family and friends already confirmed the sad news of his passing through their social media pages.
Many have praised him for his football skills and those close say he never let cancer take over his life. Despite the pain and challenges of his lung cancer, the late Kevin lived life to the fullest!

Former Capital FM radio presenter Ciku Muiruri is currently in mourning after her dad passed on about 3 weeks ago.
The journalist made the announcement through her Twitter handle where she poured out her heart to her late dad. According to Ciku,this experience has left her in unimaginable pain that she cannot explain. She wrote saying;

In a different post Ciku went on to promise that they would see each other in the next life; as she has not stopped loving him since he (dad) left them. Just like any normal daughter dealing with the emotions that come with loss, Ms Muiruri wrote;

According to Yvette she has been fasting and waist training for a year now and judging from her figure – Yvette’s plan definitely worked! Through her IG page the mum of one wrote;
If it wasn’t for quarantine I’d be celebrating 21kgs apart but here I am celebrating 17kgs apart (added 4kgs)in the past 3 months. But well,it’s been a journey I’m proud of. ???????? 1 year 3 months of intermittent Fasting and 1year waist training.

Just a few weeks ago Sallam Sk left tongues wagging after he was caught on Camera snubbing Harmonize during the burial of Babu Tale’s late wife.
His actions left many on social media calling Sallam out for his pride; but little did we know that the two have been beefing for close to 2 years now. Speaking about the ‘funeral incident’ Sallam went on to share unknown information to justify why he ignored Konde boy.

According to Sallam, he has no issue with harmonize;
I did not have a problem with Harmonize at all. Because as I have explained before, I was the first person to take him to Nigeria, UK… and every other place we went together we got the job done without any issues.
However Sallam SK went on to add that he couldn’t pretend to be in speaking terms with Harmonize when they haven’t spoken in 3 years now.
“I think the problem is that all of this took place in a burial, they thought I would mind because he (Harmonize) left the label. To clarify, Harmonize has never greeted me for about three years now even from when he was at WCB. So, I never saw the need for a handshake that particular day yet has snubbed me on many occasions.

In the candid interview, Sallam SK explains himself in a manner that has shed light to the whole funeral incident. And for some reason, fans are now siding with him.
He went on to reveal the number of times he bumped into Harmonize and after trying to say ‘hi’ Konde boy and his bodyguards always snubbed him. He went on to conclude saying;
We have bumped into each other at the airport he snubbed me, at the bank, he also snubbed me. Many times, we met in the office he still snubbed me. We went for a show together in Oman, he yet again snubbed me. So, I did not see the importance of a handshake. Why should we lie to the public? I always say that I am not a pretender.
Tanzanian singer Shilole recently had a heart to heart interview with Clouds Digital where she opened up about a few things that led to her failed marriage.
Speaking for the first time, Shilole went on to describe her ex husband as a violent young man. According to her the fella apparently has too much pride and can never accept when he is wrong. So what happened?
Well apparently Shilole found out about her husband mistress and the new born they had recently welcomed. Just like any other woman would, she went on to ask about the rumors which seem to have angered Uchebe. Shishi says things got out of hand after she confronted him about the affair – which had now led to a child being born.
However throughout the whole time Shilole says her young bae kept ignoring her as he played his PS; seeing he wasn’t interested in having a mature conversation, Shishi says she then headed to the bedroom where he later followed her.
Apparently the whole time he was quit; the fella had been had plotting on how to punish Shilole for getting involved in his affairs; and this how she ended up with the bruises on her face as seen on the viral photos shared online.
The lady opens up barely 2 months after they called it quits; however her interview seems to have attracted criticism from fellow women. Actress Jacquey Nyaminde popularly known as Wilbroda recently joined her colleague Awinja on Jessy Junction; with MC Jessy where they opened up about a few things we did not know about each other.
Apart from sharing their work experience as a team, the went on to remember the late Papa Shirandula for his talent; and blessed heart. According to the two, the late actor brought them together in a way they still can’t explain especially since their first encounter was not so rosy.
Speaking to MC Jessy, actress Wilbroda for the first revealed how her first encounter with Awinja was. Turns out that the only spark she got from Awinja was that of dislike and for some reason the universe kept bringing them together despite ‘the bad vibe’ between the two!
At first, I didn’t like her; she didn’t seem to understand her role. I even approached the producers inquiring on the type of person they’d brought on set.
How the friendship grew
However even with the negative vibe surrounding the two, they somehow managed to get along; and just when you thought it wouldn’t get better….another friendship was born!

Our friendship was built on set. It has grown into a sisterhood as we know what’s happening in each other’s lives. I have the most fun when Vike is on set as the two of us have so many sideshows: We have to be separated at times because we can’t stop talking. Our kids and parents even know each other.

Maureen Waititu has seen it all, both good and bad; but through it all her support system has always been available whenever she was broken.
Having been dumped by the father of her 2 boys was no joke, I mean, any woman in her shoes would tell you the same; but what matters is how one handles the break up.
Sadly for Ms Waititu things were not so easy. This is because she watched her long term boyfriend move on with Corazon Kwamboka barely even weeks after parting ways.

We however cannot confirm who is telling the truth between the two; but as for now we get to focus on how Maureen and her suicidal attempts. Speaking through a new YouTube show alongside Milly chebby; the mother of two narrated how she tried taking her own life due to the heartbreak she was going through.
Regrets but thankful
When depressed suicidal thoughts become a norm and at that moment it’s easy to lose yourself hence making bad decisions. Despite trying to end her life twice, Maureen Waititu now says she is grateful and happy she never left her kids to suffer.
Without her by their side probably life would have been both rough and tough all because she was selfish. Speaking about her final and failed suicide attempt, the gorgeous lady said;
I remember the final attempt that gave me a wakeup call, I went and I bought kerosene and I wanted to torch my car up and when I left the gas station Shell, it rained. It was 12th October last year, eight days before my son’s fourth birthday
Of course heartbreaks are painful and devastating but through it all, Ms Waititu says she overcame this thanks to her kids. The lass went on to say;
My worst moment is when my heart was breaking. It’s real and people don’t understand that as a mum if you are not okay, your babies are not okay. And my first born son especially he saw me at my worst. This is September/October last year and I actually tried to take my life twice all because my heart was breaking.
Now that she has learnt the importance of not trusting people with her heart; her babies on the other hand continue giving a reason to keep going everyday.
I was so hurt and the person I expected to be there for me and understand my pain wasn’t there for me. My kids kept me going,”
