Risper Faith made a bold move of sharing a video showing the real her without the multiple waist trainers and body shapers she has been wearing to look flawless on social media.

Truth is, behind the curtains she had to deal with her real body; which almost saw her get into depression as she admits to letting herself go. Well it happens, mostly after giving birth and heavy eating Mtoto apate maziwa; and then poof, the weight hits later when one is not even expecting it.

According to Risper Faith this is what happened and in her case; she blames it on breastfeeding as she did not want to diet for her son’s sake. Mmmh… how about staying away from the bacon, sausages and carbs like other mums with elastic bodies?

However it is sad that Risper has been posting edited photos, probably making mums in her shoes feel some type of way; when all along deep down she wasn’t even happy with herself.

Kenyan known hype master, Davidson Ngibuini aka DNG has for the first time narrated how he nearly ran homeless after a bitter fallout with his mum, during his early campus days.

Like every other teenager transitioning into adult life, there will always be that ‘7th sense’ that makes you think you are wiser than your parents. Or that parents just don’t want you to enjoy that hype ‘youth’ kind of life.

During his interview with CTA, the media personality recalled how he started his MC gigs during his very early days in Campus-USIU, that saw him spend most days and nights hopping from event to another.

So the A-List MC would duck into his parents’ house, quickly grab a shower, eat and leave. A routine his mom had observed to the point that one day she told him to his face “this is not a lodging”.

Being the egoistic and ‘wise’ DNG he was at the time, he got fed up with his mum’s nagging and once dared her that he can leave for good as well.

To his face, his mom said that was fine and the kid woke up the next morning, packed all his stuff into a pickup but had no idea where he is going next.

Fortunately, he hit up one of his good friends at school and requested to share a room with them, then they can split the rent charges. Fair enough, so was it!

But it became tricky when either needed to bring in their chiq.

Anyway, the two would survive on simple dishes for meals, remember, DNG did not have a source of income, so how he will pay the KSh5k rent, remained a headache for him.

He tried his luck as a DJ on a minimum Ksh5 monthly, just enough to pay his percentage of the rent.

Since then, it has been history, DNG stands as one of the best MCs the country has ever had, having worked across the country and across organizations both local and global.

It has been 10 years since the fateful event happened but the political activist looks back and thanks a fellow journalist and friend, Mr Allan Namu for being a person he could rely on at his weakest.

2010, the politician got entangled in a wild street protest he was filming, where he turned victim after a stray stone hit his head from the back.

He was covering a protest outside Jamia Mosque, on January 15, where Muslim youth were protesting the arrest of Sheikh al Faisal who had been convicted in the UK.

So City Market traders started pelting stones at protesting youth before a man in the crowd got shot and as he was being carried to safety, Boniface moved in to frame the shot.

Only for a flying stone to suddenly hit his head from the back, sending him to the ground and he just could not move.

Everyone fled, except for John Allan Namu who moved in and pulled him to safety. He was rushed to hospital and the blood clots in his head dealt with.

The Wasafi family has bagged double blessings after two of its top members clinched parliamentary seats in the just concluded Tanzania elections.

His mum, Mrs Buhondo however recently had an interview with Ijumaa Wikienda newspaper; where she shared a few unknown things about her son.

According to the lady, she hasn’t been able to talk to Ben Pol since he converted as her calls to him have not been going through.

That is not all, the Ndovu hitmakers further claim they have been housing the girl for the last 3 days.

“The first time we started dating, we prayed and felt like the Holy Spirit said, from now on, I’m at the center of your relationship and that is something we hold onto dearly till date,” Milly WaJesus revealed.

Adding that she did not go for a man she loves, but for her friend. Who is also her spouse and her lover, Kabi.

“We are also very good friends. It is important to be friends with your spouse, they can be your lover, but they also need to be your friend. Someone you can tell everything, whether you are angry at each other or not,” she added.

Word is rife that stylish media personality, Amina Abdi Rabar has quietly ditched her home for nearly a decade, Capital FM.

This is after the Capital Group-owned, urban music radio station witnessed a mass exodus of its presenters in the last couple of months.

However, an announcement Amina has since kept under wraps.

At Capital FM, she has been working with renowned media personality Fareed Khimani for their morning show where she has been missing for the last one month.

Fareed indicated that a new co-host will be joining him soon, but meanwhile, runs the morning show solo.

“Amina Abdi will not be returning and I will be joined soon by a new co-host. She has gone to do big and better things,” he spilled.

The last time the fashion fanatic was spotted at the station was late September 2020, hosting the morning show with her co-host Fareed and that was it.

It has been barely a month since another presenter at the station walked away, with a couple more top talents exiting in the last few years including Miano Muchiri, Anta Nderu, Susan Wong, among others.

The fashionable beauty is however yet to come clean on the reports that are now going viral.

Meanwhile, her social media pages, have nothing to do with her time at Capital FM, having pulled down her posts while there, focusing more on her time at NTV’s The Trend.

It is undeniable that Kenya has some exceptional talents, if only they get the right platform to showcase what they got.

During the ongoing Voice of Germany Live auditions, a Kenyan living in the foreign land, Eugene Asira moved the crowd and judges after staging a groundbreaking performance of the hit song Uliza Kiatu.

The anthem was released by the popular group, H_art the Band back in September 2014 and to date, it remains a club banger.

Clearly proven by a dear Eugene during the ongoing blind auditions at the International competition in Germany that has since left him a music star.

The talented contestant awed the panel of judges who could not help but admit that he was good in the game, with a 4-chair turn that swept Eugene and his family that was on standby, off their feet.

A song sang by the 3 band members, with different vocal ranges but Eugene still aced the performance, taking up the parts of each artist to beautifully blend it into one.

From the pauses, to the umfs, to the emotions generated, to the ambiance in the packed theater, talk of the instruments, I mean, it is one of those places you wish you would be physically present, COVID-19 not withstanding.

Taking to the gram, the excited father of one, urged fans across the world to show their unflinching love and support as he takes over the stage.

Impressed at what he did during the blind auditions, H_art the band took to their timeline to congratulate the talent for making their brand global “????????????We are so Proud of you bro, wishing you all the best ????????????”.

A Kiswahili performance in the German motherland was sure the best it ever got. Literally, moving the panel of judges and the audience who probably could not understand what the words meant, but the emotions generated, the finesse from start to finish, I mean…

It so happened that as Milly was keeping her eyes on the young boy, he quickly got hold of her dangling hairpiece and started pulling it his way.

Milly who did not seem quite worried that the kid could do anything serious with her hair, was busy laughing at the moment until things took a different turn.

Kabi who was behind the camera, called out his son for harassing his mom, warning the barely 1-year old against such misconduct but his threats only fell on deaf ears.

A determined Taji kept pulling, this time harder and it all came off, leaving his disbelieving mother trying to cover up the embarrassing moment.

Milly as usual, had her cornrows well done beneath the wig that unfortunately had not done justice on her that day.

She eventually got back her crumbled up wig, nearly disciplining the kid for such behavior.

According to Taji, it is part of having fun and did not understand why he should not play around with the wig in the first place.

He clearly enjoyed the moment before realizing the damage he had just done. A video that has left fans laughing off the moment and instead siding with the innocent child.

Same date in 2019, the Milele FM presenter ditched the bottle in honor of his late mother who passed on in the same year, having been an alcoholic nearly his entire life.

An elated Alex Mwakideu further disclosed that he did not neglect his alcoholic friends or even stop attending parties, night events or clubs.

Kiss FM presenter Jalang’o cannot keep calm ahead of his graduation, dedicating his first degree to his late dad whose memories he promises to keep alive.

The media personality who was mourning and similarly celebrating his big achievement, attested it all to God’s doing and the push his dad kept in him that has seen him reach this far.

Jalang’o pens heartfelt letter

In a long letter, he starts off; “Today has been a good day…I just want to thank God for this far he remains Elshadai!”

“When I confirmed that my name was in the list of 2020 graduating students, I just cried. But picking my gown today [sic] was even more emotional,” continued his letter.

4 years at Daystar, that he sums up as full of bitter sweet tears. Days he would cancel events and stay up late in the night working on projects.

What pains him most, is the absence of his father to witness his son’s major achievement and watch him fulfill his wishes.

“You might not understand why my undergraduate means a lot to me, but I will live to tell this story why I had to graduate or go to school at my age!” stated the top MC.

As November 13 approaches, Jalang’o promises that he is not done yet. Looking to get his masters and then PhD all to honor his late dad.

“Keep resting in peace!! I’ll make you proud,” cried out the radio personality.

For him, it is not about the status, or the brand, but his past that showed him a different side of life that he never wishes to go back to.

Pleading with fans that if only they knew where he has come from, then nobody will ever pray that he fails.

Because he is out to break generational curses, and even though he has his flaws, he will not tire until he sets the record straight.
